>>96608724>Should we try to organise a [...] hobby challenge with a collage of our works?40kg did that and it got them at least one new obnoxious shitposter constantly shitting up their thread about it.
The Pig Iron website is down, what happened?
>>96608840We have the oathmark anon feuding with the billhooks guy, the anti-WGA guys and OPR haters, though the latter are more justified now that the 3.5 beta was poorly thought out and tested. We already have obnoxious types hanging out here.
>>96608840/40kg/ has a traffic of 100 posts per minute, of course it will encourage pseudo e-celebs to emerge. If someone is retarded enough to reply to an obvious bait, there is nothing you can do about it except for ignoring such brainlets.
Flat bases: Renedra or Warlord?

>>96608724>TQFuck no, keep that cringe shit away from me.
>>96609074Retard.>>96609056If you want to keep the base style consistent I would advise Renedra since they come in more shapes and sizes. I use Warlord bases for my historical armies but only if I'm sure I won't need sizes other than 25mm, 40mm and 60mm.

>>96610376I grew tired of overly detailed minis. Once you have a family, job and a house you simply realise you don't want to fuck with painting every single button, trim and gem anymore.
>>96610411Definitely agree on that, they fall into what you’d call ‘painterslop’ as well where they look like absolute shit if you don’t paint every single thing to a high quality
>>96609056Mdf
>>96610411This tends to be my issue with the CADslop trend that only got worse after 3D printing took off. They should look fun and easily readable on a table, not like overwrought action figures.
>>96610411Those aren't even that highly detailed, you scrub.
Anyone got a deposit of minis/terrain STLs?
>>96610698Post your painted models with a timestamp.
Can anybody redpill me on xenos rampant? What does it get right and what does it get wrong?
>>96611169It plays pretty fast, it's just abstract enough and it's got a solid command / orders system that fixes most of the problems older rampant games had in that department. probably the best widely played game if you want to counts-as-40k and things of similar size.
Been trying to get enough done to get into Marcher.
£2 per box I can't resist
>>96611355
I have a "hot take": multi based figures are more aesthetically pleasing than single based figures because of the modelling flexibility it allows. However my spastic ass is too whipped by all the rulesets calling for individual casualty removal
>>96611169>>96611311Anyone got the PDF?
>>96611380Multi basing does look good like a diorama, but it's too limiting and I like to play both mass battle and skirmish games with the same minis
>>96611380I can't bring myself to do it.I feel like every miniature is its own story. Even if I had twenty 90s monopose plastics I would base them separately
>>96611355I definitely thought about getting more of those robots, mostly for the drop pods.
>>96608859>>96610152Now I'm worried about sites like AnvilIndustry going down.
I won a copy of halo flashpoint recon edition. What am I in for?
>>96611754Stupid oversized scale minis >>96610376Good, 40mm tall models where every single one is a fucking diorama deserve to flop.
>>96604177>>96611754It's fun. Watch a 40 minutes video if you can't be bothered to read the rulebook but the box itself is self-contained plus ready to play and stuff like respawn/random drops make it a fresh experience.
Kings of War 4th edition is on the horizon. How do you all feel about it?
>>96611380It depends. In rank and flank I generally agree. Otherwise it only makes sense for swarm type enemies.
>>96611827the fact that neither OPR nor KOW are stable enough yet to have settled in to an LRB is wild. KOWs been at this for 10+ years and they're back to the drawing board again? fuckers are starting to look as incompetent as GW.
Need some advice, /awg/.What are the techniques to quickly learning new systems when sitting down and reading them?
>>96611827The rules changes make sense, broadly. Shame to see prices go up. We are in dire need of refreshed elves, dwarves and a few others. Most of their starters are incredibly good value. I'm on the fence about their sci fi stuff. All these game minis will get re used across many different rules for me, so no diorama bases. Although I mostly just collect and paint.
>>96611954No, they regulsrly buff the game because of tournament play. Also OPR regiments is much tighter in terms of movement now, too. You can be more tactical
>>96611959>We are in dire need of refreshed elves, dwarvesI actually like the KoW dwarves. I'm probably one of the handful that do. I hope they get an STL sendoff.
>>96611962calling bullshit on that. you don't need a full reset just to balance.
>>96611955You have to play a demo game, sometimes solo. No faster way, sorry
>>96612042I figured that would be the case. Thank you anon.
>>96611380I do multibases on some of my dwarfs for warhammer.Sometimes it helps with ranking them up and sometimes it just looks better.Sometimes I just used wathever base I had around and they can fit multiple.
>>96611989It's to push model sales it has s very little to do with balance. Unless you mean opr in which case I have no idea what the fuck they're doing. >>96611963>I actually like the KoW dwarvesI like them except for their helmets. With the helmets and the beards they remind me too much of Fisher Price knights.
>>96611169Has a decent selection of unit profiles that accommodate most sci-fi archetypes. >>96612610Don't give hints to the FBI.
>>96611827Good, KoW is stable and has a good track record of not chaning too much.
>>96611615I wouldn't worry too much about resin casting/3d print file websites. Metal is going the way of the dodo, and people either adapt or sell off.
>>96610411None of those are even remotely related to wanting to paint details or not. I've never wanted to paint details ever since I was a teenager. You're either lazy or a passionate painter, that's all there is to it.
>>96613409Pretty much this. And its not like you HAVE TO paint every detail to make a miniature look good.
>>96611754It's a hella fun game with cool minis and simple rules, the ODST EXPANSION comes out soon and I'm hyped

Uhhh guys it turns out Renedra have been making plastic Shipping Containers for like two years. 20ft and 40ft.
>>96614098Yes, and?
>>96614114Everyone is always asking about easy Shipping Containers for terrain
>>96614140I went with chinese Lego-knockoff containers. Renedra looks decent, but nothing spectacular, and they are quite pricy.
>>96614098Gee next you'll tell me that reaper also makes containers. In various scales and lengths.
>>96614243I like the tins on Temu.
>>96614114>>96614243Seriously, I'm plugged in as fuck. I know about everything from Trinity: Battleground to Northumbrian Tin Soldier. And despite asking about for years I didn't realise there were 28mm scale hard plastic Shipping Containers just on the market for £5 each. You'd think at some point I'd have seen them on a Stargrave terrain facebook post or something.
>>96614333>You'd think at some point I'd have seen them on a Stargrave terrainI'm pretty sure you saw them plenty of times, but people usually do not write next to their posts where every little piece of scenery came from. You might also just have looked over them.
>>96614098WGA is working on some too apparently, probably to put in a death fields box or something
>>96614366Maybe, but I've actually been autistically researching because I need to fill out a board. There's the recent Monster Fight Club ones for Cyberpunk but they're a bit expensive like everything that company makesI would kill for some of the AT-43 onesI like these containers the squishy Star Wars Doorables toys sometimes come in too.>>96614374oh cool I might see what comes of that
>>96614411Check the Majorette Tune Ups series on ebay or amazon. The cars come in little plastic boxes too
>>96614440I have some, they're a little asymmetrical but I might end up making something with them.I bought them purely for the cars, Gaslands got me onto buying Hot Wheels and other diecast cars. Look at this gorgeous thing, and it comes with optional body armour and such out of the box.
My order from Sundered Studios is taking ages. I guess it's a one man operation?
>>96614237>chinese Lego-knockoff containershmm...any pointers on how I could duckduckgo these? "Lego containers" only get me... well... actual Legos
>>96614798just enter "lego container" in aliexpress or temu, alternatively look for "blocks" or "bricks" instead of lego, but you usually find everything by looking for lego, even if its not actual lego.
>>96615109>Toys for BoysJust write manchildren, Zhao. Our egos can take it.
>>96615109And there is also pic related ones. They are a bit smaller, but they do not have the typical lego studs on top of them (you have to cover them with a tarp or similar, because otherwise the containers look a bit silly)
>>96615125Toys for boys, toys for girls.Or you say it because boys no longer play with toys?
What's the deal with Temu anyway?I am somewhat tempted to download the app as they always seem to want to shower you with discounts and free stuff. I've seen some 3D printed terrain that might be cool to own cheap (probably off the back of copyright infringement)Is it better to try and use the app or desktop for such things, for maximum benefit?
>>96615325App i'd say, but you can log into the website with your account once its set up too.>they always seem to want to shower you with discounts and free stuffThey absolutely do. Sometimes those discounts are really good too. Just keep in mind that they use all sorts of tricks to keep you buying more.>free stuffYou rarely get free stuff. Often you get offers like "buy 3, get cheapest item for free", or, "pick 3 items to receive for free", and when you have picked them, they tell you that you have to buy for at least $35 or something to get those 3 items. But in general, its not a scam if you think before buying. Their fdm- and resin prints aren't any worse than what you can buy on etsy, obviously cheaper, because (i assume) as you said, they skip the whole licensing of files. I bought pic related for around 5€ a while ago out of curiosity. Its not bad i guess. Certainly not high end, but i have seen worse prints sold for much more too.
>>96614374Somehow they will be more mid than the Renedra ones but 20% higher price
>>96615387Exactly, it feels like it would be a really easy way of filling out a table for Five Parsecs cheap
looking at these Temu stuff, it's a bit wild recognizing models of free stls being sold at like five times the material cost
>>96615813printers are free now?
>>96611031Check the 3D printing thread. I know they're are a few telegram groups with archives full of shit.
>>96615899I guess I am just used to only paying the material cost to my friend
>>96615813>>9661581390% of the cost on Temu is shipping.
How many total dice should I have for two opponents for Xenos Rampant?
>>96616396When I play with my son, both have 12 dice, because we use the 12/6 attack dice split. There are also a few extra dice for marking damage on reduced and single model units. So I'd say we have 28. But it's overkill, you could easily do with a dozen, if you play by the book.
>>96616412Alright thanks!
>>96616412That's too many for an enjoyable game. Any game designed to use more than 6 is superfluous
I'm so tired of this 32mm trend. FUCK scale creep and Warhammer babies affecting other games
>>96618416By 2030, Conquest will be the standard scale.By 2040, 54mm will be undersized.
>>96618088Dice? Real men lay out their models, flip a coin to decide who wins, and then shake hands and maybe kiss a little.
>>96610411Minimalism is a scam by big small to sell more less.
>>96618861Real men use toy cannons to literally make each other's dolls fall over as they play in the yard with blocks.
>>96618416There are next to no 32mm games. Do not make up things just because Warhammer broke you.
>>96618861It's "baboon law" at my local game store: whoever wins gets to rape the other in the ass. I hate it but everyone is pretending this is normal and now everyone is mocking me for opposing it and calling me a sour ass loser. I told them I checked on the Internets and there is no State called "baboon" so it's obviously a made up bullshit but they now they're mocking me even harder and started to call me "Wikipedia". All they want to play is Midgard nowaday which is a really borring game and they don't care about it that much anyway they just want to find who's the "ass champion" and proceed with the stupid baboon stuff. >>96619313Warhammer, OPR, Halo Flashpoint, Arsenal, ASOIaF Strike/Battle Zone Commander, etc. Anon, pretty every single /awg/ game coming out after like 2020 has been 32mm because they're chasing the 40kiddy crowd. Only historical guys are sticking to 28mm
>>96620371I dunno if all GW is 32mm really. For example the Warhammer Underworlds skeletons I have are smaller than the Heroquest ones from the late 80s. The new Imperial Guard are the same height and more slender than the plastic Cadians from 2002 or whenever. Meanwhile Nucromunda is seemingly like 30-32mmThey just keep making bigger units and diorama HQ characters for the manbabies who are impressed by that kind of thing. Fair enough in some cases, that they've also taken to making new versions of units that maybe weren't as big as they should have been due to technology and ambition.
>>96619634Pretending that not liking overly designed CAD slop is bait, is honestly a good bait. 9/10 good work.

>>96624488A command stand would be pretty sweet.
>>96624793Just voted for foot lsogging unit just for you :)
>>96622753I didn't like Sword Weirdos at first but after a few games it grew on me. The mix of traits for leaders, classes and warbands gives a lot of flavor and adds just enough crunch. Also the command points for maneuvers makes the game very dynamic and tactical without bogging it down. Unlike FFoL (which I like a lot too), the dice is way less swingy and uses a lot less of modifiers. Also Action economy makes positioning more important than FFoL because you can attack in melee more than once per round, or even activate special moves with your weapon. There's also an online warband creation app for both games with the point system integrated.
>>96623779When they did 25 kits they were heroesNow they do 100 and they are villainsI rate Perries and Victrix for beautyNorth Star and Warlord for assemblyWGA are like Mantic to me, good for making up the numbers cheapAnd let's keep asking for it: there aren't enough options for traditional fantasy elves, dwarves, goblins and select undead in plastic yet. And if there were more options for sci fi equivalents of these, generic vehicles and power armoured knights and anti knights and retainers we would be in a damn good place.
Imagine if Perry Miniatures did a fantasy conversion sprue for their WOTR and 100HYW ranges... or a Weird War sprue for their WW2 stuff
>>96626721>CheapWhy do I see this repeated so often? WGA is NOT cheaper than other miniatures companies. Victrix Foot sergeants >$43 for 32 miniaturesWargames Atlantic Foot sergeants >$39 for 24 miniatures Perry French Agincourt Infantry >£20 ($26) for 42 miniatures WGA is consistently MORE price per model than their competitors that produce higher quality models with more pedigree
>>96626721It's not cheap when you compare their prices to Victrix. It's unfathomable that their lower quality kits are more expensive than Victrix's kits which are much higher quality in general. As for traditional elves, does anyone have any recommendations of elves that would look the part for Tolkien elves? I don't mean the MESBG ones, I mean ones with straight swords and chainmail. I'm even tempted to get High Elf Swordmasters, but I'm worried they'll look a bit goofy compared with my other MESBG minis. If someone has a size comparison between those, I'd really appreciate it.
>>96626726Unfortunately, the Perry brothers have made it to the level where they don't have to debase themselves by making shitty fantasy kits like in their younger days
>>96626721No, those ashigaru kits are just evil.
>>96626935Other than Oathmark ones there is really nothing in plastic.Check https://community.the-ninth-age.com/lexicon/lexicon/468-highborn-elves-he/Lucid Eye elves could fit, they are tall and very nordic. Less chain more bronze age mythical heroes though.
>>96627136I know the spears can snap when you're trying to remove the minis from their sprues. But once it's all done, do they also break during painting/playing too? Or are you all settled by then?
>>96627917both can happen if you are clumsy, just like spears of other miniatures can and will break

>>96626916Because of the bulk discount and regular 3rd party sales, yes, cheap. An army isn't 24 figures to me....not saying I play with 100s per side, but Iat least try to build the equivalent of a company or half company which means usually between 40 and 80 grunts so my ratio of cavalry and skirmishers doesn't look too whacky.>a squadron of 6 cavalryJust doesn't work for me

>>96628559Ain't that every Napoleonic army ever? Each unit's like 24-36 men or more so better buy in bulk.
>>96627917They break if you don't put them down gently enough. It baffles me as to why they put the gate on the pike itself, like the one in the halfling militia frame where it connects to a thin arrow by the shaft and it always breaks.
It may sound weird but I'm looking for games that use exactly 25mm, 40mm and 50mm/60mm round bases for their basing system. I know Warmachine has very strict basing rules but it's using 30mm for their smallest bases.
>>96628611Wait, I think that's Congo. Granted it's for multibasing infantry rather than anything else and it's a historical.
>>96624045It is why I wanted to run more of an elite infantry thing. Also, I have a couple spare magnetic cases that could easily fit multiple stacks of the guys in a row.
>>96628559Well, I'm currently working on late Rome vs Goths and I've accumulated and painted abut 60 so far and have another 24 in the post. Goal is to get to 60 legionaries, 20 limitanei, 20 light and heavy cavalry, 20 archers, and for the Goths 120 warband, 20 archers and 20 heavy cavalry, maybe 10 armoured nobles on foot. And I gotta level with ya, I wish I had gone down a scale. This will be all I will be doing for the next 12-24 months lol and I'm not even that fancy a painter.>great source of fantasy humans>rome is on the defensive, barbarians are more integrated in roman society>it's a little bit classical and a little bit medievalAside from fantasy, and some dark age britain stuff on a much smaller basis these will be my only swords and boards. Might be tempted by WGA Bronze Age, we shall see.
>>96628684While we are at it:>also doing boxer rebellion and peninsular war skirmish>regardless of the limitations of plastic, my table and skirmish gaming I will again attempt to paing a half company of the Tsar's legation
>>96628684>Late RomanMy brother in Christ... Please tell me you didn't go with WGA for this project?

>>96628910People simply took the WGA schizo's bait again.
>>96627917different anon here, can attest that the pikes really suck, as do some of the extended poses of the bows.I was using mine for warmaster not /hwg/ so what I ended up doing was cutting all the pikes down to spear/naginata length, and just using the broken bow ones to fill in back ranks of stands. assuming you do that, one of each of the boxes gives you about all the humans you need for 2k Nippon. If you are doing hwg though you probably want more ashigaru and full pikes. In that case your best move is gonna be old-school, chopping them all and doing them with wire or broom bristles.

>>96629134>Because he is fucking right>heSure *he* is right Anon.
>>96629291Pauldrons.Very nice work, anon.
>>96629291I want you got with the flat pauldrons so I can model airplanes taking off from them like a tiny air craft carrier.
>>96629549Paul-drones.
>>96628818Speaking of WGA, these check the thick shields on these 10mm dwarves
>>96629602Lmao.
>>96629291Awh yiss, this is what peak performance looks like. Thanks for sharing!
>>96628910No, some retards made /hwg/ such an unpleasant place, they do not want to discuss their stuff there, so they now come here.
>>96622753Which miniature manufacturer for that mini? Looks familiar but can't place it.
>>96629722They should suck it up and go home before the gw specialist gamers get any ideas.>>96629602Jesus fuck, those are some slabs.
>>96629732>>96622753Nvm thought it was a third party make. Conversion of a citadel tzeentch disc rider.
>>96629602what's supposed to be the problem here I don'--oh fuuuuck
What do you think of the game developers trying to be transparent with their players?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDydOWxfJOgor at least pretending you are.
>>96629602Holy shit... Can WGA even produce a SINGLE good kit?
>>96629602I'm still mad how they wasted the potential of their Epic range.
1/3
>>966304362/3
>>966304423/3Apparently these are the contents of the next wave of K47 starters. Each has a plastic mech and plastic infantry kit, a resin upgrade for an existing plastic vehicle, and a couple resin kits.
>>96630436>>96630442>>96630448I hope these ones aren't as upscaled as the Americans.
>>96630560You got rejected from Firefly training for not meeting height requirements I see
>>96630560I mean, if you do any entire Automated Infantry British army, does it matter?
>>96630436>>96630442>>96630448soulless
>>96628684Yeah, the plastic Egyptians are nice. Might actually use that Hail Caesar bronze age book now because I wasn't gonna buy that many pewter figures.
>>96630266It depends on the sculptor. Some of their sci fi and world war kits are pretty nice.
>>96630868Can you provide an example? Also, how did pic related pass quality control? I can't believe they think this is worth charging people money
When tanks and vehicles are destroyed in your games do you leave on the table with flame/smoke markers or do you remove them from the table?
I was hosting some games for an open game day at the local club, inviting new players that have never played miniature wargames before. I kept things simple of course, but I still think it took too long to explain and play. Some people hosting 40k games got interest, but had an even harder time keeping it accessible and time efficient for people that literally just walked through the door and wanted to play. This got me thinking about prepping some very rules and model light games that can be played by people that have never played before in 30 minutes with the guidance of a more experienced host that's keeping track of time and rules. What are some good rules I should get for this kind of event? Parameters should be>played on a 2x2' board>around a dozen miniatures total>start to finish in max 30 minutes>max five minutes of rule explanation before starting play, ideally shorter>different eye-catching themes, sci-fi and fantasy is by far the most popular>playable either in versus or with the host playing one sidePrep is less of a problem. Forces and set up will be done by the host before playing. Should be balanced, but more like an instant action vignette than a real game. The players should be shooting and/or stabbing on the first round, but it should still be important to get an idea that the game involves maneuvering and tactics so they understand there's more to it than can be showcased in half an hour.I really want to keep it brand agnostic to show that there are in fact more to miniature wargaming than what GW wants to sell you.Any ideas for rules? Any setting and scale goes really, as long as it's within parameters.
>>96631005>areMaybe Grimdark Future or Age of Fantasy? 250-500 point games and constant activity due to alternating activation. You can do sci-fi or fantasy, use whatever you want, the rules are quick and painless.
>>96631005OPR checks all your boxes. Both Sci-fi and fantasy are using the same ruleset with minor tweaks, it's basically the same game.
>>96631005You literally just described OPR
>>96631005Space Weirdos(and I guess Sword Weirdos too).I barely played any tabletop wargames before and got a friend of mine with zero experience to try it with me, and we were finishing matches in around 45-60mins while talking shit and occasionally double-checking rules.
>>96630892I like their french soldiers and british commandos. The ooh rah kit and bodies from the jumpsuit kit have been great for sci fi conversions. Big fan of slightly goofy little potato models so the awkward cadian/high elf spearmen type sculpts do it for me, except whatever the fuck is going on in that pic. That's just shit.
What is the coolest table you have ever played on?
>>96631005Song of Blades and Heroes should work perfectly fine for this. Make something like unit cards so that players can easily see what each of their models could do at a glance, and don't overload on special rules. A hero per side, maybe one monster and a bunch of more normal guys.
>>96630958Tabletop wargames are supposed to be kinda simulationists so I can not even think of one ruleset that ask for you to remove armored casualties.
>>96631203Tge only one I can think of is Bolt Action saying it's an option, if you want a tank to catastrophically explode instead of burning out, but even it has turning it into a wreck as default
>>96630892WW1 russians are great.
>>96631076>>96631073>>96631029yeah that would do nicely. Haven't looked at OPR for years and damn it has feature-crept. Still got their actual one sheet rules though so works for me>>96631129got a PDF of both, should work as well. Might be a bit more advanced since it uses dice other than D6, but doesn't seem very difficult to get>>96631185looks good as well. Good point with having prepared cards for unit stats. At this level special rules might go out the window entirely if it's not very obvious a unit should be able to fly, cast a fireball, shoot more, block damage etc.Fivecore might be an option as well with the proper game knowledge
>>96631304>Might be a bit more advanced since it uses dice other than D6, but doesn't seem very difficult to getyeah, it's very simple and intuitive imo, if something gets a bonus then dice increased to next level, if a penalty then it goes down by one sizethere are a couple equipment giving flat +1 on roll result>>96631185>Song of Blades and Heroesthis one looks interesting, I'm planning to give it a try once I end up having enough fantasy minis
>>96631203Warhammer 40k
>>96631005I'd recommend Relicblade. 2'x2'board, 3-6 miniatures per side, rules are easy to grasp, several different intermixable 'factions' and a short playtime. There's two different 2-player starters available and it's fun.
>>96631005The Doomed. It fits your parameters perfectly.
>>96631482Fuck me. Every single editions ?
>>96631626Yep, at least every edition of Nuhammer. Back when I played 4th and 5th edition back with my dad as a kid we always left the tanks on the table, but I'm not sure if the rules called for it or not, we just thought it was cool
>>96631005Five Core Skirmish. Models don't even have stats, just different guns with different dice values. All dice are D6, 1 and 6 have results. Easy to adjudicate results of narrative actions with this. Use scifi models and a few future guns. 5-6 models a side, 1 special ability, 1 special gun, done. Fun game too.
>>96631650Up through 7th, vehicles got left as wrecks unless they died to an Explodes result. 8th got rid of wrecks, probably because they tended to ruin the perfectly symmetrical tables that tournament players rely on.
>>96631885True we can not have non standard terrain ruin the Official Tournament Compliant™ layout
>>96629134>You could still have a better deal while going with Victrix or even Gripping Beast imho.I'm using all three. >>96628818>Please tell meAgain, this is a faintly ridiculous response. I did not rate the first round of Legionaries nor the Goths but will add the second and just received thE army Builder. >>96631290Also good for the Boxer rebellion. I'm painting mine green trousers, white tunics and red caps a la some White Army units.
>>96631203>Tabletop wargames are supposed to be kinda simulationistsSays who? Tabletop wargames are a moving diorama wheres some abstraction is always necessary
>>96632109Wrong. Tabletop wargames should be an exacting recreation of real war, only smaller, with no ahistorical elements or abstractions.
>>96632137That's hilarious. So you naturally play 6mm sci fi on a football field so the ranges are correct
>>96628263How do I build big metal models like this? I've got fucking tons of Mutant Chronicles metals and no idea how to make them stick without falling apart under their own weight.
>>96632137>>>/tg/hwg
>>96632192Yes.
>>96632209Deep pinning with multiple thick wires
>>96632338Do you happen to know of any guides that I could reference? I'm a complete newb.
>>96632409ntayrt There's buckets of youtubes on it, I ain't sorting through that shit. >Get pin vice tool, paper clips, sticky tack, side cutters >Test fit parts, note where you want to drill into the model on whichever side is easier to judge >Drill with pin vice and bit equal to paper clip diameter >Unbend paper clip with point into sticky tack on cutting mat, hold paper clip and cut with side cutters at slightly longer depth than how far into the model you want.>sticky tack keeps the metal from flying across the room or into your eyeball. >test fit paper clip into drilled hole, use this to mark on the receiving end where to drill >drill receiving end >test fit clip length, adjust so it fits good >super glue You'll get the hang of it.
>>96626916Just got the Dark Age Army builder. 48 figures for about 40 usd.And they are genuinely nice. I think /pol/tards might just be shitty at Hudson because he didn't strum their little ukeleles. >>96628591Most Napoleonic boxes come with 24-60 miniatures, if Warhammertards didn't know just how hard they are being screwed
