Had a great time at the LGS today. I won with Narset (I had 4 life and they all had around 25, but the threat of three extra combat steps and an extra turn with passionate archeologist and shark typhoon out on the field before I even looked at the top 16 cards made them all scoop). Then I played my really bad budget Lathiel lifegain/counter deck. We stopped counting at 1300 life and 800/800 per creature. But alas, I had no trample or flying, and couldn't seal the deal before someone else went infinite with their aetherflux reservoir. It was a spectacular game though, I for one love magic: the gathering. And I pulled a roaming throne out of my play booster

I prefer to make UB commanders because I have attachment to those IPs and little attachment to magic lore because the game never really bothered growing itself as an IP with a lore and characters.This is why you should release video games and films instead of canning them all.
