Not to mention for casual players being super optomized is kind of discouraged because armies are usually built for narrative or cool factor first for most people. 40k stats lets you check top4s for your faction across all tournaments which is a good resource to see whats good or whats not, but a lot of the time its risky because sometimes whats good is based on combos that arent explained just in the army list.

Im doing a chaos knights list, and I ended up adding some nurglings at the end just to get closer to 2k. Can you bully me to either: 1) Prime vehicles for sisters (exorcist and immolator, sad, gray, have been gathering dust on the shelf since purgatos mission). I like sisters, but don't like the shitton of details on their vehicles and get overwhelmed just by the idea of painting it. 2) Paint drones for T'au. I love battlesuits, but I hate drone chore. 3) Attempt to batch paint the bone and gut details on deathguard marines. I love deathguard. I hate how every model has the maggots, guts, tongues, boils and such on completely different spots! Or... I could start building drukhari. Mandrakes are also very expensive for what they do.If you cut the raiders and Mandrakes, you can afford a bit more - a Venom for splitting infantry, a Cronos for PT economy and that leaves you at 870, which is enough to get a second ravager or a second squad of big gun scourges.I would also reccomend getting a second Archon, as you can start doing Infiltrate shenanigans with Informant Network

You are really banking on the opponent not being able to hide everything that they deploy to pick a good contract and to have enough shooting to overwhelm a vulnerable target in the first two rounds to get the pain token economy going. You are also not going to get as much mileage out of Kabalites in Raiders as you might hope because Raiders do not have the cabal Or blades for hire keywords and so cannot benefit from the Detachment rule. Ravagers are much more important to have because they have shooting that can re-roll without spending a pain token and can engage from long range and benefit from the lone op stratagem to keep them alive while the Raider cannot. You also might want to specify whether you are bringing dark lances or disintegrators on your ravagers, because there is now a legitimate argument for both since they buffed the latter. Disintegrators with carbine scourges are particularly nasty and their higher volume of fire works really well with the crit fives strat as well to pop a contract target early on.You also are lacking something to hold your front lines and keep you from just getting folded in by more aggressive armies. A pair of cronos is now an incredibly durable and tanky option for extremely cheap cost. You might get better mileage out of that than one of the Raiders for keeping your kablites alive and pushing out into no man's land objectives. You also might want to consider adding a trio of reavers into your list at at 1.5k because you are going to need fast units to run up and down flanks to do objectives and mandrakes are nice but now require pain tokens to do so. If you already own 10 Mandrakes though they are a reasonable substitute in this particular detachment since they have the option to do a surprising amount of damage with sustained dev wounds if needed in a pinch.
