4 anons followed railroad-tracks and entered a tunnel
eventually they reached a split in the tracks
anon A: "judging by the metal lines, the cart will enter tunnel path I so we should go in path II"
anon B: "II is too long. we will go past I before any cart will come. it will be fine."
anon C and D agreed with anon B and they both entered tunnel I while anon A entered tunnel II which was safer.

you saw their conversation in the security camera.

the train is coming.
1. would you pull the lever?
2 (optional) what would each alignment do? and why?

I would pull the lever because i am a utilitarian, and authough A, C and D are idiots they outweigh B who is also an idiot for being on the tracks in the first place. They're also anons so their lives are worth very little to begin with.

A kantian would not pull the lever because it would violate B's agency

A good character may or may not pull the lever, it doesnt really make much difference for their allignment

An evil character would not pull the lever because maximizing death is an evil thing, barring any other incentive.

Order and chaos have no stake in this scenario

you don't know that. maybe they had a valid reason.

The only pressing reason to risk death on an active train track is other near-certain death. Specifically here death with at least as likely a probability as the train being in either track.

they could be following another individual

I assume the train is set to go where it's supposed to, and the tunnel is wide enough for workers to traverse without being killed, so I leave it.
Instead I investigate why money is being wasted on security cameras with microphones in pitch dark railway tunnels.

Intriguing that you ask this question without actually informing us which tunnel the train is coming down.

Chaos would pull the lever just because. And Kantianism is a form of extreme lawfulness.
