I think its within some of the established characterization of modern Necrons that a Phaeron can consider it a bigger demonstration of superiority to subjugate, rather than destroy other races. What is your experience with your expectations for yourself and your opponents painting? I’ve recently started playing random people at my local store, and between my games and the others at the store i’ve noticed most people either hardly paint models, have a friend commission them, or either sloppily paint them.I’m certainly not even close to even a good painter, I’ve only entered the hobby a year ago but i’ve learned that anybody can make their work look decent if they spend the time to clean up mistakes/ do the highlights, etc.I personally do not care what others models look like, but I’m wondering what others experiences are.

Alright quick rules question. What are the rules regarding attached characters that consist of multiple models? Case in point Chaos Chosen with a Dark Apostle. Is the controling player allowed to use the little attached cultist to tank shots before the bodyguard unit, or does the unit have to eat the shots before they go onto the "character?"On that note, IF the minions have started tanking, does that mean the attached character need to finish tanking it as per wounded models first? Lore question I'm venturing into this general to ask.Necron pylons can cut off the Warp. If they're powerful enough, they cut off the Warp so much that humans feel themselves being soul-suppressed. So what happens if a Blank is within the range of a pylon when it does that? Do they feel it as well, or does the blankness not react at all? Would the innate human revulsion for blanks (which is Warp-originating) disappear while the pylons are active?
