All the books in hardcover plus the new bestiary vol. I with artwork by Yoshitaka AmanoIt's funny, I was debating picking up the books recently because the system looks cool, and then this happens.Any FabU fags here? How is the game?
>>96638014>How is the game?so you are willing to put in premium + tip + tax + shipping on a game you no nothing about?
>>96638014>Any FabU fags here? How is the game?I've heard it described as "Ryuutama if it decided positioning mechanics were bad (to the game's detriment) and was stat-inflated by an Italian gacha addict".
>shilling this blatant
>>96642157Yeah, you gotta pay to play dude
>>96638014The system is fine but there's no setting. The GM and players have to build it by themselves. This was a major detriment to our enjoyment of the game as basically half of it you have to do all the work the developers should have done.
I thought the bestiary was going to be Kickstarted?
>>96645658This is a braindead complaint.
>>96638014I recently wrapped up a campaign. It was an alright experience, though I don't think my group really meshed well with the system. My only real complaint is that the travel system doesn't feel very well thought out and can bog down a session when the party is on a journey that will take 15 days by land, over dangerous territory (d10 travel die, hazards occur on a roll of 6+) and have a Wayfarer that lets them make a discovery (random good event) on a roll of 3 or less. I ended up massively condensing down travel times about half way through the campaign.
>>96646646Opps, for got to take off my name from the other thread. My bad.
>>96646646Do you roll for each day of the journey as a whole? One good and one bad thing doesn’t sound too bad for what is supposed to be a hazardous trip.
I have some experience playing and running Fabula Ultima.I think it is an okay game, but I find characters too simple (short of dozens of sessions into the game and its slow progression), and I am not a fan of how much the system relies on identifying and hammering at arbitrary damage type weaknesses.
>>96646664Yeah, you roll for each travel day and highest level of danger for the entire journey is used for the die. So in my above example, it would be 15 rolls of a d10.
