It's incredibly niche to get a way to passively or actively make something uncounterable. Only green seems to have a consistent way to slow them down. Well I guess standard will get that one redirect spell in the Avatar set but still.

>>96644388I've definitely been screwed over by it, but it follows an understandable logic. It wants to leave mana sources untapped as long as possible if they have a secondary ability that you could otherwise use. It also tries not to tap your multi-color sources, creatures, or a mana ability that has a negative/limited-use clause until it has no other option.It's not perfect, but I've never felt like it's anyone's fault but my own for going too fast and not double-checking my mana in critical situations.
