the Mk IIs are so sinister, looming and lanky like ghoulish shadow people
the notion that the British are “good guys” in WWs I and II has always seemed kind of bizarre to me, like a “in plain sight” sort of lie
their thing in K ‘47 being replacing people with clankers is exactly the right pitch of “of course we’re not evil whatever do you mean”
>>
>>96645897
>>96645760
they're gay robots too.
i think they need the rainslicker like in the promo, something to break up the silhouette of the mk1s

I like them all spindly that makes them appropriately uncanny and British l
Only a Bletchley Park fascist would think these look like “friendly” by hanging a tin hat on them

I’m very pleased that K47 is moving beyond a Bolt Action expansion. Weird War 2 is a cool subgenre but I like full-on diesel punk much better.

wish Bobby could manipulate friendly rift dice too, would be useful for those light teslas

nobody wants that dogshit looking mini

heroes are pretty important in K47 and I like having an Allied “mad scientist”
will order her for sure before they stop selling her

>scorpion walker
I’m not gonna be able to resist this
>>
>>96646289
I was going to say, the scorpion with gun tail is one of the most finest mech designs and it's nice to see an example of it here. Along with the british robots, it all looks better than i thought it would.
>>
>>96645766
The most laughable part of Konflikt 47 is the idea the Japanese could afford to actually build any Rift tech in significant numbers.
>>
>>96646305
I like all the Soviet stuff too, the bears are a bit much at first but these look cooler than the original ones
Same with ice ghouls

Currently stuck waiting for the other 7 people who are buying into the game locally to get their forces built up.

roping seems like a good choice for you
>>96646558
what do you think about the new British starter?
>>
>>96646668
Honestly I think I'll skip it. The Galahads are okay, but I actually prefer the wrist mount mini-Vickers K that the old models have. Somehow it emphasizes Power Armor to me to leave their off hands free. The Percival just looks really generic, and its rules are terrible. The robots are okay but do not live up to the art.

Admittedly, if I didn't already have old Galahads my decision would probably be different, but I can't see myself ever fielding 13 of them plus an armored commander, so...
>>
>>96646691
I am thinking of getting the set and doing a space wolves blue grey theme
>>
>>96646830
What would you theme them as? My guys in the desert look there are 14th Army, the Burma force, hence the troops in power armor being Sikhs and the mechs being in Caunter.
>>
>>96647116
I would think of them as an expeditionary force, maybe a special weapons testing unit
>>
>>96646068
I want those Nachtalben they look so weird
>>
I appreciate that the new edition has the silly front and center. Old K47's big failing was that it was just late war Bolt Action armies supported by like two Rift units.
>>
>>96647166
Agree with you there, it’s cool to see them pushing it as it’s own thing firmly in the fantasy-horror genre
