You trade one thing between a bunch of insider accounts until you manage to bait an actual fish to buy your overvalued object. You can then sell other "inferior" copies off at similarly inflated prices as well. One of the really tricky things is that often the owners of the various exchanges are the ones doing this with alt accounts.
