But for the receiving end seeing the miniatures you've spent weeks painting become relegated to the role of a gretchin of a guardsman fucking sucks.I'm bored with a slow day at work so my suggestion would be to simply add damage breakpoints to Knights, where the opposing player gets to inflict one debuff once they reach a wounds breakpoint. They have 26 wounds, so something like a damage breakpoint at 20, 14 and 8 sounds good. Something like.- Damaged weaponry: Choose a weapon the Knight is equipped with, worsen its BS/WS by 1.- Damaged comms: Halve the Knight's OC.- Damaged servos: Reduce movement characteristic by 3''.- Stunned pilot: Automatic battleshock until your next command phase (not the Knight player's).This would make every Knight feel more like a boss battle where you're actually getting somewhere putting damage on them, and most importantly gives agency back to the opposing player in dealing with them, without being as binary or random as the damage tables from old were.
