Lore wise, a single Eldar has a single spirit stone that they attune to at a young age. The only exception would possibly be Exarchs who have multiple souls vibing in the same suit of armor.

In the shitty Path books a rag-tag group of corsairs, deldar, and harlequins visit a Croneworld for stones. The difficulty is the main reason Dark Eldar don't do it, but they also generally look down on Craftworlders for resorting to such measures instead of just being hedonists. A big part of deldar identity is the idea of them living on borrowed time but being to degenerate and proud to accept it.
