Do you prefer to play ugly characters? Or attractive characters?
>>96763764I have a hard time visualizing ugly people, unless they have like misshapen or awkwardly proportioned bodies, and then it's hard to imagine them adventuring
>>96763764I like playing as cute girls
>>96763764If I’m feeling ugly then someone pretty, if I’m feeling like a hunk then I play as someone comedic looking. Dunno if that counts.
>>96763814Comedic in like a Pools Closed avatar kind of way?
>>96763764Why do you only post ugly characters?
>>96763764/v/ is that way, xittertroon
>>96763764I almost always play Warforged, so it depends on if the crafter had a thing for sex bots or not.
>>96763764Depends on the character concept but most of my characters tend to be average or attractive. One of my favorite characters was a necromancer that suffered burns all over her body and wore a porcelain mask to cover her face. One day I will remake her now that I know how to properly use the insanity mechanics.
>>96764022>One of my favorite characters was a necromancer that suffered burns all over her body and wore a porcelain mask to cover her face. That would make a cool commission IMO.

>>96763991Reminds me of that dude in Konosuba.
>>96763764I like making "ugly" characters but more in the they look like just mundane, normal ass people kinda way. Like they have unflattering features, but they're not like monstrously deformed.
>>96763764Attractively ugly
>>96763808Be sure to be up front about this in every game you try to join. I'm sure there are a million other red flags that get you rejected anyway, but this one makes it quick and easy.

>>96764605What drives a man to do this?
Isn't most PC art available at least somewhat attractive usually?
>>96763764My AD&D2e female tiefling (started as a male dwarf, Reincarnated randomly into a tiefling since the cleric couldn't cast Raise Dead but had a Reincarnate scroll), ended up with a CHA of 22. Rolled a 17, plus a result on the Tiefling random abilities table that gave +1d6 CHA. So a literally supernaturally charismatic extraplanar female. With cat-slit eyes, pointed ears, wings, and tail. OBVIOUSLY she's hot as fuck, and I will never apologize for that, as it resulted from gameplay.
>>96763764Attractive.Because I enjoy fantasy games.
>>96763764Kill yourself, puckee.https://www.reddit.com/r/ImaginaryCharacters/comments/1nbcf0y/brother_alfus_cleric_by_pedro_silva/
>>96763764Puck off fuckee.
>>96763764Usually dead average, or at the very least, average enough that whether or not they are ugly or attractive is entirely dependent on the person seeing them.To be honest, a lot of the time I don't even get art of my characters, I just describe them as "oh yeah he's a lanky dude with brown hair in his mid 30s" and that's it.
>>96763764No preference, but average is boring. And it doesn't just apply to Dream Pod 9's Appearance stat. Had a blast playing a PF 1st edition 3 Intelligence sorcerer. Had a blast playing a wizard's that's opposed. As long as I've got a weakness that does show up from time-to-time, be it a stat, a flaw like Shadowrun's Codes of Honor (God I loved that one) and remain mechanically viable / can contribute meaningfully, I'm golden.> DPDNDWhat does Captcha means by this?
>>96763764I have no preference, it depends on my character concept for the day.
>>96763764I have no charisma and can't competently roleplay it so 90% of the time ugly or monster characters. I don't try to flirt in-character etc and leave that for other players too. I guess my characters would come across as ugly and asexual or autistic.
>>96764230Why is that a red flag? Never had an issue with making female characters before
>>96763764>Here is part of my daily quota of filler threads asking binary questions
