What was the last game you played /awg/? I tried playing Xenos rampant with my son today, unfortunately his patience ran out after turn three, when more action started to happen, I suppose setting up the terrain and looking at the miniatures is still more exciting for him than measuring and rolling dice. I also need to buy some brown tablecloth for a better "table".

He had better units but I had more dice in the bag and I won with a single officer left. Even just pushing guys around and making shooty noises is a good gateway drug, if you can keep pushing it without being an overbearing dick then you've (literally)made a lifetime opponent.
