>>96793712Like a million years ago, I had a really fun Dragon with a Hatchet and LL. Some kind anon thought it was cool so he took that old picture of a Dragon kicking an Enforcers head off and photoshopped it with said hatchet and a Picklehelm since the campaign i was playing it was a rebuild Lyran salvage.sometimes /btg/ has the nicest anons and brings me warmth. >>96794042kek that's beautiful
>>96794051The Great Houses were too eager to try and absorb them to ask questions, and the resources that ComStar would have needed to erase the Goons would have been impossible to hide while moving in an era that the ComGuards were still a secret.

>>96794025The king crab fucking sucks in MW5. Having a huge head hitbox and arms that stick out low means you take worse part damage than any other mech and you can't shoot over low terrain or hills.
>>96794173gauntlet 10B
>>96794204>head hit box You do know that only one of the windows is the cockpit right?>low armsLiterally not a problem. >worse part damage That's why you drop the LRM 15 to a 10 and max the armor. Two AC20 SS is enough to kill ANY cockpit in the game, use the large laser to probe and the AC20's to blow out the cockpit. If you need salvage you can kneecap assaults before they can react.
In BT, is that they are unable/incapable of creating AI? Or just not making one for some reason?
>>96793712Is there any 3D print for mech sized melee weapon+hand bits?
>>96794272Hyperspace makes AIs go crazier than Skynet after talking with AM. There was an experimental one in Necromo Nightmare, but it wasn't exactly stable, either, even for staying on planet (and if the planet has an HPG, who knows how they'd be affected).
>>96794240coolant pods are busted as fuck, god damn. If I understand the rules correctly, you get +1 dissipation per heatsink every turn for 1 ton. For the tradeoff that it does a 10 damage internal explosion if hit.
>>96794272>incapableThere's an AI on Necromo. And all it wants to do is upload itself to a spacefaring craft. Which would have immediate disastrous effects for humanity. It's possible the Black Marauder is actually a renegade AI.There's thinking computers everywhere, they're just not what people think of when they say AI nowadays. Targeting, motion, mech interface, etc. They're more realistic optimization routines and query processors like Star Trek's "computer" and less like Master Chiefs "cortana"
>>96794324>coolant pods are bustedYeah, in MW3 and 4 coolant flushing allowed you to pull some bullshit.
>>96794373I don't think coolant pods operate that way. Seems like an active effect. It's either aligned or not. Just a giant reservoir of freon. I don't know what part actively enables coolant purge. If Coolant Pods are available, then you'd be silly not to take one and double your dissipation.
>>96794324Coolant pods only work once each. Radical Heat Sinks are the broken option since do the same thing but are usable every turn with an increasing risk of breaking if you use them on consecutive turns. If they blow up then you generate a little extra heat every turn.
>>96794324>>96794377>Man discovers old Forever 67 tech mounted on a DA mech.Just wait until you discover Radical Heat Sinks.
>>96794272Incapable.Remember that BattleTech's computers are much worse than ours. References in novels make it clear that they're 1970s-1980s level.
>>96794388Is that heat sinks that ride skateboards?
>>96794377>freonJfc do Battletech writers even know how basic thermodynamics works? Freon is a terrible choice for cooling things, it's used as a refrigerant, not as a coolant.
>>96794394Nope, but they certainly make you say "Dude, sweet!"
>>96794381>>96794388>radical heat sinksThat's a tiny minority of heat sinks, most are moderate heat sinks.
>>96794393But built like brick shithouses with absolutely insane levels of storage.
>>96794381>one time useWhere is that stated? According to the TA and the BM Manual, it says you can only trigger one per turn. But it doesn't say it's expended anywhere I'm aware of.
>>96794399Freon was a brand of refrigerant. But no. Battletech coolant is actual coolant like a vehicle radiator. It's not glycol-based and is poisonous, though.
>>96794410Coolant pods are 1 turn use like an M-pod.
>>96794410Nevermind, found it. Though it should be in other spots, imo. This is the only mention of coolant pods being one-shot anywhere.
>>9679440980s computers with tapes had effectively unlimited storage. We still use that tech for ultra-long term backups.>>96794414>and is poisonous, though. Not the Clans'!
>>96794414Yeah, even water would be a better option than Freon. Water is actually a fantastic choice as a cooling medium as it's boiling point is high and therefore the amount of heat it can carry away is high. Freon and liquid nitrogen would instantly boil away and stop carrying away heat.
>>96794422Water also has a ridiculous specific heat so it heats slow and carries heat well in smaller amounts.
>>96794421>things with external storage have infinite storage! No shit.
>>96794419Any time you see the term "pod" in the game, it indicates one-time use. Well, weapon names, not omni-pods.
>>96794425How many Rocket Launchers can you fit in an Omni-pod?
>>96794410The rules in my copy of Tacops says "Each Coolant Pod can only be used once per battle." In the rules box.
>>96794419Like most things, you need to go back to the original description. This is why the OG Housebooks are more detailed in the history than the later Handbooks, because they don't have to cover as much shit.p.72 of Unbound says it super clearly.
>>96794435Everything that fits in the crits of the chassis. That's the beauty of omni-pods. Though, I imagine plugging a deathcordian into the side of an Executioner will have limited other chassis that will use it.
After reading trough Clan lore on Sarna and playing Mechwarrior 5 Clans I have come to the conclusion that clan society is fucking retarded and makes no god damn sense. For example, the whole trial of position shit, how in the fuck do they even possess enough mechwarriors in the first place if every one of them has to fight and potentially fucking kill an existing mech warrior in a trial of combat? It makes no fucking sense.
>>96794480>For example, the whole trial of position shit, how in the fuck do they even possess enough mechwarriors in the first place if every one of them has to fight and potentially fucking kill an existing mech warrior in a trial of combat? It makes no fucking sense. At least that's done as a replacement measure; New Warrior replaces the Old, as the Clans want to keep their fighting force in peak condition. Now imagine how the fuck these fuckers didn't simply starve to death, but somehow ADVANCE technology lightyears ahead of everyone else!
>>96794480The clans are just the same "Life is cheap, Battlemechs aren't" as everyone else. The difference is they make child soldiers in iron wombs in bulk and WANT to fail out both the garbage and the old. Those sibbies have like a 95% failout rate. 1/20 gets to be a mechwarrior, and that's still more than they need. You test them with the old trainers on their way to solahma, and keep cycling motherfuckers through. Personnel isn't a problem even in a hellhole like the Kluster. You only get off the meatgrinder conveyor if you can land a bloodname. Otherwise, you aren't worth shit. Now, they are maximum tard, but more in their hypocrisy and fursuits and stuff.
>>96794503They sure as shit don't seem to treat battlemechs as that much of a precious resource if they are willing to waste them in trials of position etc.
>>96794509Clanners have a hard on for "You must do this for real" for ranking up.Only the Bears shirk this in the DA with sim combat, but they're faggots so that's to be expected.
>>96794503>fursuits and stuff.Come on now, we've all seen the HeMan shit the Airforce does for Officer Swords...That's practically the most believable thing about the Clans!
>>96794424No, they're also very high data density as well, comparable to modern disk drives! But they're just much much slower to read and write from. The fanciest modern tape drives can hit up to about 15 MB/s read/write. Disk harddrives do 500+, and SSDs can easily exceed 10,000.
>>96794509Not every trial ends with a destroyed mech. Plenty of things can preclude total destruction. There may be a lucky shot to a core every now and then, but you gotta think in the grand scheme, one in 1000 mechs is lost in these things. More often the pilot is vaporized and they just repair the mech.
>>96794526>tfw still using SATA connections that top out at 50Mb/s
>>96794509Trials are very limited in scope. Most Trials seem to be Cluster-sized at best, and in fluff we see a lot of Star- and Trinary-scale ones.
>>96794272>In BT, is that they are unable/incapable of creating AI?No. It is Sam Altman who failed. BT has multiple AI systems that can perform useful jobs, the least of which being the expert systems that interpret pilot brain wave readings and micro control the robot's limbs during maneuver. It's just that BT is anti-transhumanist, so there rarely are full borgs, gene mods or AI that can make sensible long-term plans and put them into action.
>>96794435>>96794468After the Rocket Accordion meme became popular, the rules were changed to hard cap how many of them could be stuffed into a handheld.

>>96794561The Rocket Accordion meme started here. God, I love how we break shit when new rules come out.
>>96794480>>96794499Warriors are like 1% of the population, no? It's like Elon Musk forcing his loin spawns to murder Trump's children and grandchildren for his entertainment. It doesn't matter to society at all.As for how they deal with it in terms of numbers - they decant a lot of kids every generation, most of them will wash out and be added to the general population.

>>96794565The "Remove Kebab" guy was fused with "Let me play you the song of my people.", I understand. The result was an Atlas carrying a box approximately the proportions of an accordion, made out of rocket launchers. Being a 100 tonner, that used to be enough rockets to delete anything.

for to-hit.do you hit if you roll the number, or if you beat the number?>gator resolves to 7Hit on 7+ or hit on 8+
>>96794641you roll the number or higher
>>96794641In perhaps the only real similarity there is to 40k (and various other wargames) you are rolling to try and get the calculated number or higher.Colloquially that would be why people will say they are, for example, in your case 'looking for 7s' or '7-ups'.It is worth noting however that unlike 40k, you can calculate an impossible value (a 13) and have shots that you can never hit.
>>96794673>impossible values you can never hit

>>96794641Meets it beats it. Gator says 7 is a 7 or higher.
>>96794718Warrior of Kerensky.Late 90s?
>>96794637Seriously? I know because of the way bidding works that conflicts in Clanner Space usually use very small forces, but how the fuck did they think conquering the Inner Sphere was going to be possible with those numbers? That's like what, ten or twenty guys for each habitable planet? Even if that number doesn't count Sohlama units, that's insane. It would be a stretch even if every single Clan only had 110,500 warriors, come to that.
>>96794019A pity it may be extinct now since the GM factory in Outreach is gone because of the Jihad and that Clan Jade Falcon may have also ended Arc-Royal Mechworks, which also built the Imp. It was the only proof you can apply the spherical body used with the UrbanMech for anything heavier than the UrbanMech.
>>96795073Clan Civilians are apparently incredibly docile. The idiot Warriors assumed IS folks would be the same.
>>96795076>Flashman: am I a joke to you?
>>96795085First of, the Flashman isn't that spherical. Second, regardless of depiction, Flashman has "chicken legs", which isn't the case for the UrbanMech and Imp.
>>96794918Oh, what I was asking was what year (like, 3050, 3058, etc) that population was based on.
>>96794272It's not Smart AI or "real" AI, but they got pretty close. Herb in his weirdo crusade to give to the Blakist Remnants ALL THE TOYS gave them a functional "dumb" AI, and what we see is simply the prototype for a much larger system.Of course the Blakists fucked off beyond Davion space so we'll never see them again, but dumb AI are completely possible in the BTech universe.
>>96794480>how in the fuck do they even possess enough mechwarriors in the first place if every one of them has to fight and potentially fucking kill an existing mech warrior in a trial of combat?"Potentially" is doing a LOT of heavy lifting here. Actual fatalities in Trials of Position appear to be pretty damn rare, AND the many of warriors in the TOPs are "warriors" who are aging out anyway. We have blow by blows of several love fire TOPs in all the novels, and there's very few fatalities among the opfor. IIRC, none of the warriors faced by Aidan, Marthe, Phelan, or Natasha died in their Trial. I don't <think> Alaric or Katrina killed anyone, and while I'm 100% sure that CrazyTits Hazen did she was also a confirmed psychopath and tried to kill basically anyone who she could fuck regardless of situation, so I feel she's an outlier to be discarded. You don't have to kill the enemy, remember. You have to defeat them. Blowing out the legs or torso of a Mech, or critting out it's engine or gyro, all qualify. There's lots of ways to kill a Mech without the pilot dying in the bargain. This isn't the vidya where killing the Mech also automatically kills the driver.
>>96794847>8 is 41%To-hit number required to shoot at trannies and Canopians is finally confirmed.
>>96794042oh wow you beat me to it and thank you so much!!! Any time I get grouchy when people are fighting here I think of this and all the other good memories.Plus that mech was a hoot.
>>96795081>Clan Civilians are apparently incredibly docile. The idiot Warriors assumed IS folks would be the same.Which they are based on everything that happened post invasion with the occupation zones.
>>96795073Technicians help pad out their ship crews but yeah the numbers are retarded. At the time of the Clan invasion there was something like only a billion Clanners in total in existence. When it comes to the Clans there's not just author fiat there's the whole goddamn fiat dealership.>>96795081Even with some of the worlds where the Clans were greeted as liberators the ones where they were not should have grind the invasion to a halt before Tukayyid.
>>96794393Modern computers do exist, but they're not much use to a spacefaring civilization because of how vulnerable they are to cosmic ray damage snd hyperspace corruption. Only very urbanized/industrialized worlds have the infrastructure to build and maintain them on-site.
>>96795196I don't know, there were considerable resources needed to garrison new conquered worlds. To the point Protomechs got accepted despite being dezgra.
>>96795103From book implied to be 3062. Also makes comparisons to the Hindu caste system. Shitpost about that as you will.
>>96795136I temember Alaric's trial well. He pounded a Cougar or Adder into scrap as his first kill and already aimed at the Mad Dog that would be his second, and fired as soon as the first mech's still living pilot deactivated its targeting system, thus signaling combat ineffective. The Mad Dog then instantly ate an ERPPC to the canopy.Alaric's final kill was his sibmate who tried to murk him from behind. Also dead. Then Alaric switched off his own targeting before his final opponent, a Jupiter, could cut his carreer short. So yeah, deaths in the TOPs are accepted, but by no means obligatory. You have to render your opponent ineffective, and either side can signal surrender and count as kill.
>>96795267Explains why clan mechs don't have toilets and IS ones do.
>>96795103Oh lol.305X. Don't remember the exact year.It also gives planet-by-planet populations and IIRC growth rates by Clan.1 billion is pretty reasonable BTW. The Exodus Fleet was 6 million, and over 270 years that cones out to slightly before 2%. Considering the Pentagon Civil War and that many Clan worlds are barely habitable, it's not bad. It would be about 50th on the world by modern standards, way above every developed country. Lots life expectancy seems to be offset by fairly large families.

>>96794847I didn't realize it was so weighted. No wonder some mechs are so impossible to hit.
>>96795497Yay bell curves!(Actually, for 2d6 it's just a triangle, but it's still significant. You're 3x as likely to roll 11 or 12 as to roll 12, twice a likely to roll 10-12 as 11-12, and 167% as likely to roll 9-12 as 10-12. After that it mellows out a little).

>>96797475How important is landing shots at medium to long range for you?
>>96797580Well a 6/9/6 is going to be able to control the range pretty well unless it's fighting a pack hunter or something.
>>96794524It's ridiculous. The one branch of the service that has never issued swords to be used in combat has ceremonies with Voltron swords.
>>96798000It's a jealousy and ego thing. iirc, the "tradition" started when a well liked officer got a sword from his boys because they thought it would be cool to get him a sword. Then other officers said "uhm, where's my sword?" and made it a big deal. The retarded swords are backhanded, the soldiers giving them a sword don't think they're worth a cool one so they get a slab of aluminum with grade school doodle fittings and they have to take it with a smile because they made it a ceremony.
>>96795073They hand spent so long in their crazy corner that the idea of civilian populations resisting at all was completely foreign to them. The idea that the remnants of a planetary militia would continue a guerilla war also blind sided them. They expected it to be as simple as defeating the planet's garrison of mechs in single combat, announcing it was now their property and everyone would just go along with it. Like there was the legitimate expectation that they could leave a planet a week after conquering it and if anyone else showed up the people living there would proudly resist for the honor of their new masters.Obviously this idea went out the window a few weeks into the invasion but that was what they expected when planning it. If things had actually gone that well I don't think the Clans were actually too far off the mark as far as the straight out fights with Spheroid powers goes. Even if they only sent a thousand warriors each, how many planets were going to be defended by more than a company of mechs and how many would have even less than that? How many of those mechs have shitty 5/6 pilots? How many of those mechs are shitboxes like the Assassin that would stand zero chance against any Omnimech? The Clans were sending their best and that means shit like 1/2 pilots with EI tattoos sitting in the cockpit of a Warhawk. If that lands on your planet and you have a lance of bug mechs with a Shadow Hawk as the leader then the rest of that Star may as well stay in orbit because they won't be doing much.
>>96797355This is a hussar with club
>>96795073Clanners drank the cool-aid hard and truly believed their society was objectively better than the rest. They see professional soldiers as a sort of primitive form of Warrior, militias as grossly misguided (at best), and mercenaries as a fancy kind of pirate. So their view of it is that wherever they took over, the professional soldiers would be bondsman'd and see the error of their ways, the militias would fuck off back to the civilian caste and stay there (or maybe try to trial back into the warrior caste if they really are worth anything) and the pirates would just die or be bondsman'd. They weren't expecting patriotism or what they viewed as civilians to take up arms after being shown the "better way".
>>96798411I dare say it's a Hussar with a novelty lance.

>>96797287>>96798734But the devs made a canon rocket accordion for the Exo. You could probably have Exo handheld weapons scattered around a map to make matches more interesting.
>>96798428>mercenaries as a fancy kind of pirateThey're not really wrong there. Both mercs and pirates are people who exist outside the normal spheres of military and civilian life, and make a living by shooting people. The difference is that mercenaries are paid to shoot specific people, while pirates just kind of show up on your doorstep and shoot you and take your stuff, or demand you pay them or they'll shoot you and take your stuff.
>>96798532Everything after the Fedcom civil war is non canon.
>>96798325>They hand spent so long in their crazy corner that the idea of civilian populations resisting at all was completely foreign to them.Which wouldn't be bad if the Warrior caste had any sense of Noblesse Oblige, but no, that's apparently one of the few things Inner Sphere Nobility actually have over them!>>96798734>It's almost as if having hands is very advantageous and having barrels for arms isn't.Indeed!>>96798861>you don't see tanks with hands. Not YET you do!
>>96798966Mercenaries in battletech are highly formalized however, they don't really exist outside the normal spheres of civilian life and due to the MRBC they're held to a fairly consistent standard, plus many of them serve a single house or faction so long that they're de facto house troops (or become house troops in the case of the MAC).
>>96798734Yeah makes you wonder how many mechs would be saved if they just kept the ammo on the outside with a handheld weapon instead of inside.
>>96799041Really depends on the era. When the clans showed up mercenaries were mostly seen positively and did keep themselves in check (mostly, there was some scummy moves around the ronin war), but in harsher eras the mercenaries throw off the mask real quick and go back to only working for the highest bidder for as long as their bid remains high. The Jihad especially had a lot of nasty mercenary moves.
What is up with these feet?
>>96799129Slutty stiletto mech.
>>96798532Did they really though? Are the clans of the 33rd century recognizably clan compared to the pre-invasion versions? They won the physical fight, they lost the philosophical one.

>>96800392There's Eradani Light Horse (Eradani Night Mares) and 21st Centauri Lancers (21st C. Butchers) unit digests and one game scenario that's set up for Chaos Campaign but is simple enough to just use as a one-off where the attackers are trying to destroy abomination storage pens.
I do generally like Gothic. It's not really 40k-like.
One of the Nova Cats just decapitated my Stormcrow. Headshot into 12 on crit check. Sigh.

>>96800472Oh hey, I found the Word of Blake. And Clan Jade Falcon.

>>96800472I have two big problems with Gothic, neither of which is with the general concept. The first is that it'll absolutely be sucking resources away from the game proper. The second is that because they started it "as a joke" before saying that they'd keep going with it, the basis was laid haphazardly. And that's fine for a one-off, but if they start building on it, they're going to quickly get to the point when nothing makes sense because they started on a weak foundation.

>>96800339What the fuck is a light blazer?
We need Super Heavy mechs to be more common. Which means that they will have to create more powerful fusion engines that weigh the same as they do now. Double the speed for the same weight!
Update: It's 10 CLPLs. Two on each Nova Cat and four on the Rifleman IIC. Dunno why i did this, this guy brought CLPL spam to the campaign two years ago.
>>96800696I'm assuming 2xML from the weight.
>>96800708Well you learn a lesson twice as well the second time. Sorry he's being a shitter.
On one hand I understand why they made exclusive Gothic looking minis since it's supposed to be an alt universe but on the other hand that means if they continue it they'd have to make gothic versions of all the other mechs which we know they won't do.
>>96800767At this point I'm playing nearly suicidally so that the game ends sooner.
>>96800376Is that your own copy or did it get uploaded?

>>96800784Just do as many DFAs/Charges as you can.
>>96800676Big MAC is McCarron's Abominable Cavalry according to the Eradani writeup.
>>96800717Yes. 2x ML, 7 damage, 6 heat.In Gothic lasers can be set to "dazzle mode" which does half heat and half damage against normal targets but full damage against abominations, so it's not as bad as it sounds. Of course, massed MLs only get better under such conditions and are still much better than any variety of Blazer, but it's not as bad as it would be without that option.
>>96800822>>96800825My Strider got a headshot on a Nova Cat that my Blackjack previously headshot, destroying the cockpit. In the same turn, my Avatar took 70 damage, fell, snapped off its AC20 arm, took a crit in its open RT, and detonated its ammo. At least it's over now.
>>96800816>Mustache https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vV_Spdjruc
>>96800768That's something I'm not sure about with Gothic, they've mentioned other mechs like Jenners and Grasshoppers, and according to this scenario you can use the MUL for everything except abominations. The madmaxtech situation seems to be worse than canon if anything, with manufacturers that were fine in 301X now being fucked and the remaining manufacturing being even slower, but there's no depictions of vehicles or non-gothic mechs. It's not clear if the gothicized mechs are just extra pompous because they're even rarer and the societies running them are more ostentatious or if they've always looked like that. We don't know if a star league vintage Phoenix Hawk pulled from a cache looks extra greebled or not.
>>96800799My own, and I don't know what kind of security measures they put in these PDFs so I'm not uploading it.
Working on some periphery merc mechs. Thinking of painting a big 8 on the side and writing "raise hell praise Dale" on it with some paint chipping and mud. Pilot's name is 3 Finger Joe
>>96800876This is what I meant by my second point here >>96800599I guarantee you that no one's thought any of those questions through.
>>96800816I'm currently writing an anime harem fanfiction story which is turning out a lot of fun. Everyone freaks out after Victor flirts with Omi at Outreach, so a bunch of pretty girls from diverse backgrounds are transferred into the 10th Lyran Guard with him.

>>96800844I don't know if that's terrible or not. I haven't followed gothic, so I don't know what abominations are, either way thanks.
>>96801186Abominations are cyborg monsters that fill similar roles to BA or protomechs. A lot of them look suspiciously demonic and have Doom vibes. The setting is in the 3010s and is a lot worse off than canon.
>>96801162UM-R70 and UM-R90>>96801186>>96801208Same biotech was also used the make the "Frayed" aka TMNT style Mutants.

>>96801208Haven't seen anyone mention this, but did they do anything or improve the rules for protomechs with this focus on them? I feel like taking another pass over these sorts of things that aren't very important in the main setting was supposed to be part of the appeal.
>>96801236>Haven't seen anyone mention this, but did they do anything or improve the rules for protomechs with this focus on them? They didn't even bother putting together construction rules for them...
>>96801236hopefully they use this opportunity to retcon,Protos, quadvees, and lams into one thing with better rules. 10 ton biospiders that fly and shoot plasma? Two can occupy a hex? Innate Anti-Infantry? Morale effects? Chance to enrage? I can get behind this kind of thing.

>>96801541Rockets don't cause heat?
>>96801328The thing is that a 3/5 with 2xAC/20 isn't a Mech, it's a piece of terrain.
>>96801577iirc, handheld weapons follow vehicle rules and only need heat sinks for energy weapons, and they have to be able to sink the entire amount of heat those weapons produce.

How do I make MegaMek default pilots to 4/5 when adding them in a one-off game?
>>96801541Hand Held weapons can only fit 6 weapons.
>>96801798Yeah, that's why I said nowadays a handheld that an Atlas can carry can at best carry 6 RL20s. That restriction wasn't always there, which was how you got the massive absurdity of 20 RL10s.
Over the last couple of months I have been painting my take on the Canopian Highlanders because the idea of a periphery power sponsoring a merc company as a way of gaining intel on what has been happening in the inner sphere is really evocative to me. I am up to two companies so far and am trying to decide on what to add next since I know for sure I am way too many assaults and heavies for a periphery formation.

I've seen some people say that BV2 isn't balanced. Why is that? If true, what is more balanced than it? C-Bills? BV1?
>>96802287That's been a problem since the 80s, man. That's what the later eras are supposed to be made for.
>>96802389BV2 is mostly okay, but it criminally underrates stuff like clan pulse lasers. Allegedly, CGL has a BV2.5 in the works, but no idea when we'll see that. C-bills and BV1 are both worse than BV2

>>96802421That's kind of the inherent problem of writing a story primarily set at the end, in the ruins of once great empires and the sunsetting of civilization, and then deciding you want it to keep going. Oh, I guess everyone just gets better and made new factories, ok.
>>96802046Throw in a Grasshopper.
>>96802606Indeed. This has also been a problem with the Fallout games. Turns out only so many years can go by before the people naturally want to rebuild, people won't want to stay in a vault raiding the local mall forever. It's one of the many reasons people don't like the Dark Age, just brings us right back to 3025 on steroids when we should be past Star League tech by now.
>>96802586I think a more rational approach is simply to not play toy robots with him again.

>>96802570How do you decide a draw?
>>96802755You can't possibly defeat a pulse laserchad. He's got multiple - modifiers to hit. His power level is too great and his heat too stable. Which is why he's out in the real world winning matches and you're crying about wanting to fuck his dog or something.
>>96802779>wanting to fuck his dog or something.I meant his wife, but based on the fact she married a pulsefaggot, I can see how you'd be unable to draw a distinction.
>>96802775You play a new game of Battletech, but are only allowed half the time of the previous game. Winner of that game wins the first game.
