When I got burnt out on 40K, I bought into AOS with the idea that it was GW's main fantasy game. Dunk on me if you like but I legit feel I was scammed by GW. First Cathay, now this. Once again the incel neckbeard game no one under 40 plays gets more releases and AOS players get scraps. FML.

Are they trying to remove the chaos from the old world chaos range? They dont strike me as potential god marked mortals, but just as norscans, which to me is boring as hell. I much prefer Kairic Acolytes to those, even if they're just one aspect of the chaos gods.

The reason AoS looks different to you is that the bulk of WHFB models were from the pre-digital sculpting era. But all digitally-sculpted models are done in the house style, be they from 40K, AoS or WHFB*. If WHFB hadn't been slain off its models would have looked the same way AoS and 40K evolved into looking.*which includes the final years of WHFB models, see the Hurricanum or Verminlord or whatever else for evidence

People always HATED these models - I've heard grievances ever since the 2010s or even earlier.People say that these look dated, stupid, goofy and too bulky.Maybe it's because I started with painting Greenskins, but I always liked them instead.I was always in the minority.

The chieftain of this kit has a really great look, there's a cool daemonsword with it, etc. The guys in the OP look... fine, but you can definitely see they were all run off some computer file with marginal changes.

At worst its a perfect kit for forsaken with some kitbashing for some personalization, which is what I used for my chaos warrior army. But I do like Norsca, just, not enough to actually make an army of them. These guys are ordinary researchers and scholars and all that, people who would blend into a crowd, but when come to that frail grandpa that was warning you about not walking past the 9th hour, can turn into a steroid freak. Supposedly they have to spend a good portion of their lives to even get the magical steroids, so like any other chaos chaff model, these guys are functionally losers that are too off the deep end. But hey, at least some of them can tame birds and cast bolts.
