I got sent out to some backwater town months ago on some job, and I swear they're just waiting to see how long it takes until I take a sunbath. We went our separate ways. With her leg half hanging off, I doubt she made it very far. I sped past everything to get to that Ventrue prick. Fuck the Masquerade. Kicked his door down. Fuck him. Didn't see hide nor tail of his little whore ghoul. Last thing I remember is seeing him leveling a shotgun, some fancy bespoke piece, at me. Then it all went black. I'm starting to get hungry again.

You can also go for shitholes with a limited presence of major sects. Smaller scenes tend to be easier to make work, not least of all because usually, places like that have more than just you trying to get lost and stay lost.If you make it through the next month or two and still are in search of a good place to settle down, I'd not be opposed to trying to start a book club.
