>>96806529>starring>Jack Black>Cat Blanchett>Will Smith>Chris Pratt>Jason Momoa>Jared Leto
Do we dare to Catan once again?
>>96806529Wtf would even be the plot? Rival homesteading villages competiting for resources?
>>96806574You forgot Zendaya.
>>96806574I think we might actually be leaving the era of Jared Leto. The only reason he was in the new tron movie was because he produced it, and it's like the 4th bomb in a row for him.
>>96806529>>96806574>>96806703So, will they take a portal to Catan world or will it be some survivor-like premise where people end up stuck in an island and have to slowly build civilization again?
>>96806574Dwayne Johnson will be there 100%
>>96806529Wide-raging pact? Why is the pact angry and wide? Is it a fat blue haired trannyfaggot?
>>96808175Didn't he lose a lot of muscle mass because he stopped taking steroids?
>>96806836Okay, I'd watch it.
>>96806703To be fair there is a 20 years old novel. I don't know what the hell it is about (a fictionalization of sorts of a colonization of a fantasy island) but it's long as fuck so something happens.
I remember reading a Catan licensed book around 2005 which was great. Pretty thick tome, like 500 pages and everbody who saw me read it would come up to me and ask whether it was the rules for the game kek.It was some drama stuff around vikings colonising an island, I don't remember the plot except one scene in which the colonists broke a stick and each family drew a piece randomly. The broken pieces fit together in a unique way. This way they determined the order in which people's homes would be built by the men.Of course today such a tale of cooperation and community between neighbours could never be made, they'll introduce some dindus that are oppressed for whatever reason. Which there never have been in any Settlers of Catan game.
>>96806703>the bandits are victims actually
>>96808625The robber
>>96806703Do you Catan?
Multiracial tribes/towns with a lot of black and brown people or a dedicated black/brown tribe/town? Call it.
>>96806574No Pedro Pascal?>>96806703Probably just a story about a farming family and a trader guild. Generic plot like Romeo and Juilet, probably.
>>96806836Good one!>>96806529Before making a Catan series, i would make a Werwolf series!
>>96812824It already has a movie.
Never actually played Catan heard back in the day even the 360 version was loved saw multiple peeps with all achievements:3 worried about Netflix though desu.
>>96812848What? And it was 2024. So Netflix already makes boardgame movies.>present people are send into the game aka the pastWeird how they only can do Isekai settings. Is there a similar western word for Isekai? I mean Alice in Wonderland is an old Isekai story from the west, but i domt really know if there is a name for that genre.
Will there be a line about getting wood for sheep? If no they can fuck right off.
>>96808501>it's long as fuck so something happens.Rookie mistake
>>96806703Propaganda about how settlers and colonialism are evil. Wypipo bad brown skin good.
>>96806836but Zendaya is Meechee
>>96813434Portal Fantasy, which includes Narnia like you mentioned but also Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz
>>96806856He's gonna be in the new Pacific Rim
>>96812824>>96812848Board games I would watch:>Political rivals in medieval France maneuver for power while building a city
>>96821555>Board games I would watch:KDM
>>96821577Keep it PG-13, we need viewers so we can make our money back
Clue was a great boardgame movie so maybe we'll get lucky again?
>>96806529One time I saw a glimpse of Chess live action movie in my dream. It was awesome and surreal late medieval epic.
>>96821723Tim Curry is still alive so there is a chance...
>>96818122Not sure if that's better or worse than John Boyega. I think it's really funny they keep trying to push big names in the Pacific Rim movies considering the only person of note in the original was Idris Alba. Charlie Hunnam was pretty much a literal who back then and it's not like Idris had as much star power then as he does now either.
>>96806856I don't know how to tell you this, anon, so don't read this spoiler if you're in a mentally difficult place.he's in the upcoming he-man film and he's playing skeletor. can you imagine anyone less suited to playing a camp skeleton? the cunt's gonna be super serious, all brood no MYAAH.if you need to have a sit down and cry, I'm here for you.
