Instead of orcs. Rabbits.
>>96833101What game?
>>96833187Any game with orcs. Those orcs are now rabbits.
>>96833187
It certainly has historical precedent.
Stop that, it's silly.
>>96833310What’s with all this shit? Why were medieval artists obsessed with killer snails and killer rabbits?
>>96833515You've never gotten bored enough that you started doodling weird shit in the margins of your notebooks, anon? Because sitting in a chair from dawn until dusk hand-copying Latin treatises sounds like it would lend itself to that kind of behavior very easily.
>>96833187The one you play. You do play games right? You're not trying to police /tg/ - Random With Dice while not actually playing games, are you?
>>96833841Hm. You make a good point. I shouldn’t shame bored people.
>>96833515Memes and shitposting. The same kind of people you're talking with here existed back then, and had big chances to end up as monks.
>>96833914Bahahaha
>>96833310Wait, is that a giant orange rabbit cock? Huh?
>>96833914Un fucking real. Humans are such a disappointment.
>>96833515The fellas illustrating and transcribing books also kept gardens. And the two biggest menaces to any vegatable garden was rabbits, and snails.
Way ahead of you, mate.
>>96833101
>>96833187Well that looks like a anime
>>96833101>big snu-snu still possibleI'm ok with this.
>>96834972lol
>>96833854I do. I don't. I'm just asking a simple question. Why does it make you so angry?
>>96835863>8 hours later>U MadYou're not fooling anyone gamelet.
>>96835990Sorry for not being online 24/7 I was too busy playing traditional games.
>>96835993You’re not fooling anyone.
>>96835993kek
>>96835993What games?
>>96835993Tell us about it anon
>>96833187>What game?Shadow of the Weird Wizard has orcs but they also have playable rabbit-people, the Haren. They're anarcho-primitivists.
>>96833914I've always wondered what percentage of monks were just autistic, nerdy dudes who didn't have an even shot in medieval society. Not that they weren't devout or anything, I'm sure they took faith seriously, but I suspect that similar to how nunneries were "fuckup woman containment zone", an isolated monastery would store the same man who becomes a comic book collector or IT guy in a couple hundred years.
>>96833214>>96833854>>96835990>>96837156Aaah, no answer because no games...
>>96833961It's the belt, you fucking furry
>>96837384I gave you an answer, the Haren from Weird Wizard. I ran the first bits of “Rage of the Goblin King.”
I actually did something like this in a game.Instead of goblins, the land was being attacked by fey-descended creatures who resembled short humanoid rabbit-ish creatures. They lived in burrows and had a matriarchal structure, with each warhost having a large foul tempered queen. They were pretty desructive and regarded as pests until their burrow got large enough, after which they would form armies and sack towns.I described them like they were fur-covered goblins but in truth I could only picture them as Max from Sam & Max.
>>96833101My druid PC actually got their arm ripped off by a rabbit demon a few months ago. They've since grown a magical wooden arm. We were never able to completely eradicate the demon infestation, a few lesser demon rabbits got away and our DM implied that while we stopped the growth for a year or two, the problem will just come back, maybe even worse. The only time our party wasn't able to outright defeat the monster/completely fulfill our contract.
>>96837369That was literally what the clergy was for. Oh sure, there were no doubt some truly pious types who wanted to go into the service of God. Even today people sign take theology classes, get a Masters of Divinity, enter Seminary, and go through all the steps because they want to be a priest. But back then it was also a viable, non-embarrassing career for middling noble children who weren't in line to inherit anything and showed no talent in the military or elsewhere for that matter. Hans from Frozen? Thirteenth of thirteen sons? He wouldn't have been out trying marry some random princess. He would have had a Roman collar around his neck.
>>96833101Rabbits are more of a goblin analog than an orc analog.>>96834946IT is. It's Arifureta.
Small critters look especially unsettling also when they are drawn large and looking intense.
>>96839400Regular European hares look unsettling crackheads without any modifications.
>>96833101*goblins
>>96839584They're the same monster, stop letting D&D lie to you.
>>96839584Gobbits*
>>96839400Okay that’s actually terrifying Also fuck that crow just watching it happen
>>96839591are goblins the child orcs?or is it a pygmy subrace of orc, like how hobbits are technically just a kind of men?
>>96839709That is a part of the D&D lie. Orcs exist within the same range of heights as humans.
>>96839852I don't like the idea of 6ft goblins. Doesn't really feel gobliny anymore.
>>96839439They really do look like grasshoppers
>>96834972Bunny GoogolWith the goog-goog-googl-y eyesBunny GoogolHad a wife 4 times his size
>>96833515>>96833841>>96833914>>96834037Serious answer, IIRC the snails were because they called this group of people they were at war with snails as slurs so they drew them as snails like propaganda posters. IDK about the rabbits but it could be something similar.
