Japanese elves have always been the worst case of "humans with pointy ears", which goes for the males as well as for the females. Not just when it comes to their design.Don't know what specific thing anyone is supposed to be made about right now, that has always been the case.

They also actually perceive time differently. They are still very clichéd and it's still a harem series, so most elves are female and circulate the MC and all that.
