Does any army specifically excel in NOT max-stacking a specific gun/toughness level? I haven't thought much about it but my ideal faction would be one that has an answer for every situation while still having a diverse list most of the time. CSM don't fit the bill too well despite how much of a slam dunk three deathstars of termies, possessed, and chosen look on paper.

I think one of my biggest issues with modern Golden Demon entrants is that most of them just do (admittedly good) paintjobs on existing models as they're sold. There's so little converting and building, even though plastic is generally easier to work with than the old metal models.
