James Workshop must be destroyed.
We have various motivations for this common desire; many of us have been betrayed by James Workshop, or had our aspirations thwarted by their suffocating reign.
It has been attempted before; to replicate this perfect storm.
The Trench Crusaders are one recent attempt; they began with an aesthetic approach; their drive continues, but is faltering because of the structure of their project; the entity is hollow; the lore is inherently plastic in a way that fails to create structure; the morons crave structure; WE crave structure.
Another attempt was made by the Warmachiners and the Hordes; they had a great mechanical foundation; brawling colossi as the focus, and flavourful support units.
But they failed because their logistics could not maintain their expansion; now their furnaces are dark and their Warjacks are rusted, and all their great beasts have starved.
And yet, I believe that the best hope still lies in creating an entity that has the scaling potential to outgrow that senescent ogre James Workshop; and sits at the same, or a similar sweet-spot of the borderline of niche and mainstream appeal.
In time, it is likely that such an entity would also become corrupted by "shareholders" and their interests.
So I would advise any prospective monster-makers to keep their best creations away from public investors.
Give them secondary creations, engineered to appeal to THEIR idea of what the market wants; give them up wholesale so you can wash your hands of them, and keep the meat for yourself.
Develop it, pour all your technical and arcane secrets into it, and set out with what capital you have, and the best guerrilla marketing strategy you can fangle; and keep it yours.
To but it bluntly; you are the only person who can be trusted won't sacrifice your own baby.
God Speed.
I now cede the floor; I'd like to hear from other aspiring megalomaniacs.

Are you actually questioning the premise that probably a full third of the three-dozen people that still browse /tg/ do not publicly wish to obliterate James Workshop, and dance on his bones?

>I'm not like you, I'm a raped corposlave!

my local GW closed down recently (i stopped going there around 2020) so id say ive already killed my share of it.
also, i dont care about the GW cycle of slop. they get the worst players and customers, and those people get shit lore and ugly minis at atrocious prices. GW and its supporters deserve eachother, let the wheel spin i say

If only those people could just stop giving them money and do other things.

The people who truly despise James Workshop stopped giving him money eons ago.
Before The Printening.
When the Chinaman ruled the marginal zones.

It's just toy soldiers, anon. No need to act like a Cyberpunk 2077 OC.
>>
Anon, James Workshop doesn't exist. He's a corporate mascot. You can't dance on his bones, destroy his corporation and rape his children because there is no James.

Are you drunk, high, or dysfunctionally autistic?
>>
>>96850135
And they didn't need to destroy anything to achieve that.
>>
>>96850287
All of the above.
It's explained in my origin story, which is out of print.

>>96850701
It's not about Need.
It's about burning desire.

I think you should apply that autism into killing a politician or famous billionaire instead

I’m doing my part!
I was a GW customer from 1983 to 2023 but no more. Don’t even buy their paints or tools.

The only GW game I still play is Mordheim and that’s because it doesn’t require any money into their pockets.

I just bought a Creality Ender-3 and Elegoo Saturn 4, if I ever lose my mind and decide to play a GW game in the future I’ll be printer go brrrr’ing my models.

Fuck GW and fuck paypigs.
>>
>>96849655
What if.. and this is an insane plan.. we stop buying their product?
>>

James Will O' Shoppe have put poison in our wells and we must consoom his merchandise as antidote or die.
>>
>i want to kill GW with a game that is intentionally not as popular, saturated, or broadly commodified as any of their games
ok

I dunno, man. It's a pretty wild scheme. A lot could go wrong.
But what the hell! I like your style! Let's go with it!

You come off like a melodramatic bipolar retard in the midst of a manic episode. If being near you is exhausting as reading this post then I guarantee that the only guilt your parents are going to feel when you kill yourself is at how relieved they are that this burden has finally been lifted off their shoulders.
>>
Just get all of your friends, all 0-5 of them, and go to the local GW every month to get the free miniature of the month. And have them tell all of their 0-20 friends to do likewise. If it spreads far enough then we can take all the free miniatures of the month and bankrupt GW.

I know it's a sacrifice, some of those miniatures are pretty shit. But sometimes there's an AoS death model or an IG one that makes it worth it.

I have never played a James Workshop jame. I have never given James Workshop my hard-earned American Funnybux.
Regardless; I wish to see James Workshop destroyed for no reason other than James Workshop fans have annoyed me, personally. For that he must die.

I have no idea what the OP image is but I can hear shitty trumpet music that infested superhero shows and that equally shitty pulsing high-pitched sound effect just by looking at it.

The only company that is remotely close to dethroning James Workshop is WizKids, and not only is their miniature quality dogshit, they are now owned by NECA, which is almost as bad of a corporation.
