What could be the medieval equivalent of the Full Armor Gundam Unicorn loadout?
Not looking for something pratical, just variety and how to carry.
Maybe with use and discard fighting style.
>>
Also, motly melee weapons equivalents.
>>
do you have any of your own thoughts on the matter?
>>
>>96864525
I was thinking on the loadout having jousting lances, halberds, shields and a long sword, but I think it lacks variety.
>>
>>96864545
halberd is an infantry formation fighting weapon, noone would use it in what is already a heavy cav loadout. speaking of, you neglected the horse and armour
>>
>>96864498
>Gundam Unicorn
>two horns on head
Also these halberds look like absolute fucking shit, would break like twigs in any combat, and why does the robot needs two gatlings? Also TWO halberds, TWO gatlings with insanely small ammo drums, some kind of rifle, TWO MORE gatlings on the back (???) various missile pods on the back, AND some random fucking missile pods on legs. Jeez, I thought GW was bad with weapon loadouts and their placement, but this shit takes the cake. And those boosters are even more stupid than GW jumppacks, instead of jet engines strapped to the back, it's two fucking Saturn V rockets. Also huge space hi-tech robot that presses the gatlings trigger with its huge metal fingers? GW actually did better job on their tau suits than this abomination.

I wasn't thinking on cavalary, so the halberds make more sense than the jousting lances.
The image I'm thinking is someone with a huge backpack filled with weapons, and various weapons straped on with belts. The user isn't particularly skilled with any of them, so it qtacks reclessly and discard to disengage.
>>96864730
Yeah, it's pretty dumb.
It's a main character machine with shit straped on to sell more plastic
>>
>>96864498
>Full Plate Armor
>Glaive or Halberd
>Greatsword or Greataxe
>Two Longswords
>Two Shortswords
>Five daggers, strapped across the chest
>A Heavy Crossbow or flintlock rifle slung along the back
>Maybe a sixth dagger in the boot for emergencies if you wanna emulate how a lot of mecha store extra weapons in their shins
>Some sort of magical items that let them cast spells like a Circlet of Blasting or Ring of Spell Storing just for a bit more
>Maybe some Handwraps or Gauntlets that boost or modify unarmed attacks too because fuck it
>Also horse armor for Godd Howard's sake
>>
>>96864730
There's nothing worse than someone shit talking something you also don't like but badly, in a way that makes your stance look stupid.
>>
>>96864801
Oh, you mean fantasy not medevial. This guy is a fighter from the D&D 4e phb (if i remember right, its hard to tell singe google image searches have become worthless lately). He should be what you want. Go and be at peace.

>medieval equivalent
Equivalent in what way?
There really isn't much of anything you can do in terms of drawing upon medieval times for something like a Gundam, at least, not without some mental gymnastics.
>>
>>96864498
>Nioh: You can keep two melee weapons and two ranged weapons equipped, and all four show up on your character model (pic related shows an odachi, a bow, and a musket on the back plus a katana at the waist)
>Dark Souls 2: You can keep six weapons, shields, bows, or magic tools equipped, but only two of them show up on your character model
>Full Armor Unicorn Gundam: Two melee weapons, three ranged weapons, and three shield/ranged-weapon funnels, plus several non-handheld weapons

To answer your question, Nioh's four weapons already look a bit cluttered, so I think six weapons or shields is an absolute limit. Perhaps two medium weapons at the waist (sword and mace) and four long weapons on the back (spear, polearm, greatsword, and longbow) would work.
>>
>>96864498
ACKS 2 suggests that an ordinary human can carry:
>On back, two large weapons
>On shoulders, four medium weapons
>On waist, four medium weapons
>In "adventurer's harness" (not wearable over heavy armor), six medium weapons
As written, that's a total of two large weapons and 14 medium weapons with medium armor, or two large weapons and eight medium weapons with heavy armor. To me, though, it seems that the back and shoulder locations should be mutually exclusive, yielding totals of only 2+10 or 2+4.

It's a transformer, you see. Only instead of turning into a car or something it just turns into a bigger robot. There's a bit more to it than that, but it'd take a while to explain...
>>
>>96864907
that's a hearthstone card
>>
>>96864498
What kind of weapons are you thinking for the loadout?
>>
Equivalent in what way?
>>
>>96865301
>it'd take a while to explain
not really
single-horn is the normal mode
split-horn is the time-limited super mode
the end

let's not pretend like it's all that meaningful or sensible
>>
>>96865301
>It's a transformer
It doesn't even have a flight mode, those stopped being popular after the first Neo-Zeon war and then didn't come back until everyone started acting French in reaction to some Jovian faggots.
>>
>>96864498
one thing that always bothered me with mecha is when they don't have any apparent means of putting away the weapon to free the hands
that kind of defeats the whole purpose of having giant arms in the first place, if you can't grab anything with them

Equivalent in what way?

if you ask 3 times, maybe the op might appear again.

Most mobile suits can carry spare stuff on their skirts or other mounting points. They don't always show up in every depiction, but they've been around since pretty early on.

Designs like this are supposed to just use up their weapons and dump them though. Same as the kampfer.
