This is especially important when the issues isn't "the power has nothing to target" but "the power potentially kills you for trying to use it".

I had a weird dream that I blame jumpchain for.I was the last master of humanity in FGO. We came under attack by the Nasuverse version of the forces of Walt Disney. Disney Princesses were charming my men. The Genie was a fucker. Things looked like they were turning when Aladdin showed up and revealed he had been summoned by Chaldea. I made an impassioned plea to the house of mouse explaining we were fighting for humanity including the same children than had loved them for generations but then most of my forces began to fade because we were using too much juice. They covered an entire franchise and what would happen was the choices were so watered down that the flavor of the options was lost. It may as well have been Generic "Franchise" Jump. Also taking it with the random starting location in this way locking you in to one part of the franchise locks you out of the rest. It just doesn't work well. It's better to focus on each universe as a singular aspect than to try and cover and entire multiverse/franchise. I hope that answers the question.
