I have a problem with Outer Reincarnation: my build always just ends up being 'Old Throne spam'. I am too autistic to get over the fact the setting has an unlimited time loop easily up for grabs. Just go to magic trance sleep on the thing and try literally tens of thousands of times to brute force it or build a giant superweapon ("Build A!", "Build B!", "Build C!",...). Go to war and enslave everyone, who cares, it's a time loop. J'dan you retard hire a mind mage to make it so you don't get bored. The built in warmachina synergy makes me feel like a kid slotting two legos together. I mean yes clearly it's not a creative masterpiece but what the fuck else am I supposed to do with these two pieces. Also I don't understand what they're talking about when they shit on undeath all the time either that seems like a no issues solution to the fate thing. Before you say "read the lore": I have a job. In conclusion I'm retarded.

On an intellectual level, I know it would probably be a bad design choice, and even the minor movement here would distract from the main content.

And also, I would probably have to tinker a lot to figure out how to set an MP4 as a background in ICC (not natively supported and probably a huge pain if it's even possible), since converting to gif ruins the quality. Plus educate myself on how to edit the video to uniformly decrease brightness/contrast and make it a little more background-suitable.

And also also, I'd have to pay $39. Which is fine, I guess...

I already stitched together my own choice border graphic from a few different sources (which looks very nice in-situ, imo!); will probably also create a semi-transparent "choice background" to apply to each choice; still not sure on the style I'll go with there.

A whole detailed picturesque page background is probably beyond my ability to create though (at least in a timely manner), but cost isn't a huge issue since $39 is pretty cheap. I did find some other quite nice mp4s that DO loop, so I guess it's just a matter of firmly deciding for myself if that's really the direction I want to go in - probably need to play around with the sample quite a bit after all the other CSS elements are in place.

The Underground is taken over by The Nightmare, which is the combination of the dead-but-not-dead True Dragons Vtorusha killed's Dream, along with the Eternal Curse that Xian created. It's empowered by other dreams, and the Old Throne basically dumps deleted timelines into dreams straight into the Underground. The Nightmare is a vague curse field, but also tangible monstrosities. The Nightmare can also be harvested with magic to create life directly, as Thaumiel does. Other lore tells us that Dreams are burgeoning, unaware Divinity that ever mortal experiences and produces, meaning the Nightmare is basically a bunch of twisted insane godlings who got messily deleted from reality trying to reassert their godhood and creating a corruption and monster plague.

Only issue there is consistency; one animated gif in a sea of static would look bad, so it'd need to be a whole section or type of choice that's animated - and adding an animated requirement makes the image search 10x harder. Definitely under consideration, though!

I could see Charlotte just as easily wanting to Lay Low or Fight. Maybe even Search For Answers. Jacob and Nathan would both clearly prefer to Fight so depending on how Charlotte goes I can see her and Nathan butting heads. Charlottes ability being the most likely way for us to get money to survive might also rub them the wrong way. I'd push to stick together so you could lump that in as Join Others which wouldn't be a problem with Sarah and honestly I don't think Charlotte would run off on her own despite how she comes off. Again, Nathan and Jacob might go their own way as their goals are definitely in line with each other. Nathan would just see it as another arc in his story probably wouldn't have a doubt in his mind that we would see eachother again, some day.

The core of the build is Intangibility, which is a perfect defense against all physical attacks, a form of traversal and with I1, the ability to telefrag any physical object. This gets even stronger when Flash Step is added to it so I can jump from person to person and telefrag their brains and hearts as needed, even through objects or inside vehicles (remember that I have Sighting I1 to see through objects). Prescient Reflexes let me do this reflexively, and if I get hurt somehow I have Fast Healing and Regeneration to back it up. My only weakness is mental attacks, which Defence closes off neatly.

In the Center I pretend to only have the Peak Body, Fast Healing and Regeneration series while secretly training my Intangibility and Flash Step (Regeneration helps a lot with building confidence; you can take more risks when you know you can recover from them).

Slightly tweaked my old build to go Pyromancy instead of Cryomancy since there's no heat limit the way there is a cold limit. Also, multiplayer. Otherwise it's the same thing though, generate tons of heat, absorb it and use it to boost my powers to the heavens. As for dealing with the Facility, I'm probably going to have to rely on super luck and precognition to carry me.

Is Fated Shot the most energy efficient preparation friendly offensive method in CC? You can craft magical bullets in advance so you don't have to spend RE on creating energy bullets or enhancing regular ones. Depending on how fast the bullet is, how fast the guy you're shooting is, and how skillful FSD makes you you might not even have to spend RE on guiding the bullet to its target either. In which case you can attack people while using little to no RE or stamina.

With something like ACIT on the other hand, you can't prepare your fire in advance, it'd consume whatever you tried to contain it with or otherwise be a constant drain on RE. It's something you have to make and use on the spot. Not energy efficient or preparation friendly.

Not so fast. People can dodge bullets at RE-06, or earlier with the right methods. If you don't have Weapon God Physique or Fated Shot, hitting them is going to be a struggle even if you have bullets that can outspeed them. You can't use guns as a crutch forever. Jobbers still lose if they fall behind in their cultivation.

Guns should become outdated at RE2, 6 is way too late for the most common and easy to use weapon to automatically kill you.

I think it might depend on the energy methods, if one wanted to double down on them Akashic and Celestial comes to mind, in that they both can end up abandoning the body entirely. And the last is Air Raid. By text you are able to fly without it, but with it you have better flight and better strength. So even more strength is good.
