Best solutions usually are a mugging/robbery gone wrong, stab/shoot them a few times and you might pass it off like the corpse got dumped from somewhere else, hell burn it or dump it on the nearest river or docks, cops might think it was the mafia or a crime of passion from a close person.
The cheekiest thing you could do, which is a good way to create some chaos in enemy lines, pick a gender/race/age group, create a pattern of victims, then create a pattern of coverups, maybe all of them have a slit throat or well a quirk to attract investigators, eventually you will have the boys in blue trying to find an imaginary serial killer for months completely locking down a city area and worse closing the feeding grounds of those who oppose you.

I have been embraced two months ago.
Since then, my sire has confined me to her lodgings so that I do not embarass her. She taught me many things, but three weeks ago she left and did not return since.

Yes, my sire spoke of the clans at length, and pointed me to some documents of her library as well. My best guesses would be Toreador or maybe Ventrue, but I think she made a game of throwing red herrings at me. She left no mirrors within reach, for exemple, but my reflection seem normal enough in water or glass. She have a number of egyptian artefacts and tomes, but some of others origins as well. Some nights she'd have her orchids sing, come the morning, but they still seem to be orchids, not fleshy flowers.
She made no mention of generations.

In my rather personal experience, the best advice I can give you is so; Feed carefully, you never know what someone is on or what part of town you're in. Feed slowly, it's preferable to under-eat than over-eat. One leaves you peckish, the other with a body. Carry rubbing alcohol to swish around your mouth after feeding. Don't swallow, but it won't kill you just make you puke. Find a marketable skill and use it. I've become a tattoo artist postmortem for example.

Back at the city, there were lakes in the tarmac so it took us a few tries to land but, we're alright.
Apparently the Chinese lady who sent me and my partner to steal diamonds for a Toreador did it so we could sabotage his brother the ex-leader should I say, of the Triads to get herself the chair from his parents.
The good news 500K turned into 1 million to split since she never wanted her original take for setting it up.
Now me and my partner are 500K richer.

All of this is actually the progress of the chronicle I'm running for a friend who has been my eternal storyteller, this was my second time trying to run for just him and it's going much better than the first time.

As for the ex-hunter, last time I was there, he wasn't, but he came and went as he liked. I believe he was close with one of the other Elders and would stop by to see him from time to time. No idea if he's there right now, I'm not there nor in contact with anyone from my old town.

Thanks for the advice. I've tried visiting a few bars, nightclubs, and a couple promenades favored for nightly strolls, so far without success. If any kindred noticed me, they chose to avoid me for now. I've found a dark romance themed bookshop/coffee shop which will need to be investigated further, however. The hunters who went after wolves were honestly really good at it, for a bunch of people with basically no special powers beyond too much money, fancy military hardware, and contacts to buy explosives and silver in bulk. Which is to say, they actually bagged a few, and seemed to only bleed one or two guys every hunt, which is an absurd kill-to-death ratio, for Kine. They knew too much, were very organized, had some sort of superiors they were expected to bring results to, a bit of sway with local authorities, not sure how that worked with the local Camarilla also obviously being up to stuff. Hey everyone. Busy night last night. As in everything went tits up busy. Sun set pretty early so I hit that biker bar around six-ish, about seven we got hit by fucking Wolves. They were either scouting us out for possibly months or we have quite the traitor because they hit nearly every major Elysium in town, killed like fifteen of us, set the Barons Haven on fire (he survived thankfully), basically completely tore our shit up.

So to cut a long story very short, I've accidentally got three neonates who just lost their Sires in my living room who managed to convince me to take them "under my wing" and teach them what their Sires now can't, as well as hopefully Thaumaturgy.

What the fuck do I do? I already said yes because I'm a dumbass and they asked after when we had the clear to celebrate. I didn't have any interest in having kids as a mortal or Siring now that I'm a Kindred, and now I have three. Any advice for how to wrangle a group of Neonates as barely not one yourself?

My parents weren't absent, per se, but I definitely raised myself more than they did. Not thinking of moving either, I fought werewolves for my place here and splitting now feels wrong.

As for the kids, I've got a Gangrel, Brujah, and a Caitiff. A proper one too, not just saying they are to hide their Clan. Gangrel is the freshest at nine or so months, but the others are barely older than her. I had originally grabbed them to drive me around and keep watch while I went around doing rituals and bloodwork to help the defense, but they started helping with my work after a bit.

Gangrel is capable of basic Protean and Fortitude but hasn't learned any Animism yet. I've been keeping my eye on her because she's twitchy and more anger prone than most I've met.
Brujah is very smart but too snippy for her own good. Quick learner with the rituals she was helping with. Handy with a gun but no idea which Disciplines she knows.
Caitiff is an ex-college jock. He made it out the hood, so to say. Knows Potence and that's about it. Spent most of the night driving us around and keeping lookout, but he threw down with one of the wolves and didn't die so he's got potential.

Once the Cover-Up team is done, I was told there would be talk about getting people resettled in newer buildings or repairs done to ones that don't want to move. My apartment is fine but I might try to swing a bigger place in return for the help I did.
Turning up the nobility might be hard, as I mentioned in a previous post I was a streetkid growing up, but that might help given who they are. Maybe I'll treat it more like apprenticeships than a Childe/Sire relationship. They want to learn some of what I can do, I want people to watch my back when I'm too busy reading to interact with others.
If by Revanchist you mean seeking revenge against the wolves, rather than the Star Wars cult, more yes than no. Only the Caitiff doesn't, but at least the Brujah wants to learn more before she does anything. In my experience, when it comes to orphan licks the first few months are the most lethal.
When they've got the rules down and they've figured out Vampire 101 then the mortality rate kind of flattens out.

You can experiment with it, I have for a while now. Just be careful not to consume any. I've even seen a few drops send someone deep into frenzy. Got some news for you all! We defeated Spartacus, the commies, the Berlin police as well as some Brujah Bolshevik!

The former chief of police allied himself with the communist party, and invited some deathkorps from Russia to take over the government. Now I’m not patriotic, but I am loyal to my friends who are. So I joined the stormtroopers (actually wore the uniform) to raid the police headquarters where they were stationed, and I got handed a Grabenpanzer and a MG 08/15 as well as a grenade. We weren’t the full coterie tonight. Only my friend Ansen the Giovanni and the baby Brujah Constantine.

We did good tonight while pretending to be mortals.

Ansen masterfully ordered artillery. With a single shell he wiped the whole defensive line. We blitzed inside the police station and we got ambushed. Our human allies got hurt pretty badly but we kindred retaliated in kind. After that all that was left was the former chief of police, two deathcorps, and one of the two brujah vampires. The two who were at the Spartacus rally, and he was the one who pierced my obfuscation. I tossed my grenade square in their face and his celerity failed him. I staked his ass but it wasn’t enough. He healed and he tried to run away but my gun + his grenade wounds put him down.

I am happy to say that I snacked on his soul. Got a lot more powerful… and an addiction to vitae. But that’s alright! It’s a cute quirk I have now!

Kids and the elderly tend to fall to the Beast more easily, and just are not really well-off mentally, according to a book from some Malkavian psychiatrist I'm trying my utmost fucking hardest to sell to somebody for a year now. Sixteen feels like an age that's not quite stable, not full-on a child but the hormones and the immaturity are a problem. Definitely keep an eye out for her.
Long-term is anybody's guess. Maybe she stabilizes, maybe she spirals, maybe she gets weird, maybe you never see her again after she just leaves once. Theoretically, a Tzimisce could help with the physical aspect of the growth, while a sufficiently careful Malk could use their trademark insanity more helpfully, to try and adjust the mind to what it should be. That still would be at best a patchwork solution, it won't help with matters more fine and spiritual, and whatever those two assholes do will still have its unfortunate side effects. There's probably also niche rituals out there, but they're probably costly and would require the work of a small conclave, given the difficulty of altering that which is pretty inert by nature.

An angry mountain. The hideout was an old cabin, a homestead of sorts, the kind Kine really could live in without too much contact with civilization. My Sire used it before me, and with him ceasing to be a factor, I used it, whenever I was in its area. The place was reduced to half-standing rubble when I got to it, so I just finished its destruction to be able to bury myself.

Going to try and repair it sometime in the future, it was honestly fairly cozy.

Your chances of running into them anywhere is fairly low and for good reason, but general best practice in my opinion is a cross or holy symbol of your choice placed near every door, window, entrance, what-have-you into your haven. I've also fantasized about filling a super soaker with Holy Water and spraying one of them down, but that isn't as helpful as just crosses for safety.
I think I'd feel too bad Embracing someone like that just to satisfy my curiosity. But maybe some time decades from now I'll decide to Sire my own. My hands are full enough right now as is with the three I've got.

I suspect either or both of you might be overestimating the physical component of my average session. In this line of work, we say the session has already begun as soon as the client enters the dungeon. In my case, I meet the client in his, or her, domain, receive some more gifts, we go shopping and visit the city together before we get to the real action. It is often the case that I don't spend half a week circling around a man in a cage clacking my heels, nor hitting him with a shark or rhino hide bullwhip over and over - or industrial steel cables for my tougher cookies. Back in my mortal days, I was shocked when I was first handed a written piece of paper by a trembling hand that said: "No pain of any kind." I get some of those even in these nights.

Additionally, my clients often have so many different responsibilities that we effectively program our sessions precisely so they can be interrupted over and over. That's the primary reason I spend so many nights with my clients: they have to get their money's worth - or, things money can't buy's worth. I could be the needy and nagging wife, girlfriend, mother, that drags them away from the computer over one email too many. It's a similar idea to what sex workers call the "girlfriend experience." The labour and the demands here are largely emotional and psychological, more so with Kindred. "Are you coming to play, sweetie?"

But if a Hunt is called, they'll be free, armed on their way before the prey even knows it. Victory is my command, too.

I have an interest in architecture, best if ancient, and since I travel more than most Kindred I have more opportunities to enjoy it.
I also like going to parties and livening them up with my art, I'm not always domming for cash. From time to time I invite myself to this or that club, including those where my childer are (when I wish to surprise them), and I bring a toy or two with me in there. At the very least, I should find a mortal, such as a musician, that wants a couple of strikes of the cane just to try it. Elsewhere, things get much raunchier: one night in a Russian club I barged in with a strap-on under my fox coat, locked and loaded, I started dancing, and before I knew it there was a line of girls, with a few boys, that wanted a taste. The birthday girl's BFF had a jacket that matched my fur, and she wrapped her pearl bracelet around the dildo before sucking it. Four boys wanted to know my heels' flavor instead. By the end of the ceremonies, my childe came to me and said: "I won a bet with the girls: you danced a grand total of 11 minutes." I told her: "Oh, betting on anything, are we now? Oh, I forgot to address this topic. I've had my share of Kindred who sought me for a session either because they felt nostalgia for freer, kinkier times, or to evaluate if they can still derive pleasure from this sort of play. About 95% of the "nostalgic" ones and 80% of the "evaluators" request my services a second time.

I remember only one who didn't enjoy himself at all: one of my first Kindred clients, actually. The poor thing was suffering from a significant depression as he had just lost his older sister, they were embraced together so they continued to be brother and sister even in their unlife. We agreed to end the session, I had all he gave me reimbursed, and I redirected him to a specialist childe of mine. He's still struggling in some areas but he's improved a lot now. I pay him a visit once every two years to check on him, give him a big furry hug "from big sis", and a quick pegging, all free of charge.

As for me, personally, I think I've only become more perverted as time went by.

I'm sorry, their guard hairs are bristly and exceedingly long, the epidermis and derm thick and rigid. The underfur is decent enough, but shearing a werewolf pelt like a beaver's would erase its patterns, making it unrecognizable and thus not worth the effort. Werewolf skin is built for combat, not fashion.

Fair enough, I'll just keep it in my stock if I don't end up giving it away during the parley. Though for what it's worth, I've conducted some experiments with transmuting pieces of werewolf anatomy, altering their aspects without total loss of resemblance. Some shape adjustment, color, texture, the works. For a small, extra fee that'd mostly cover the time, effort and ingredients, I could try that, make the hair more fluffy and soft. It'd be not quite as authentic, but probably not awful to wear, as an upside. Same goes for more complex changes - adjusting the shape of it, maybe making it into less of a coat and more of something form-fitting. Or maybe just turning it into a pelt of an arctic wolf, just, Garou-scale.

I started as an art model, for models used to start their careers much earlier than today, then I was told I my body was becoming too "curvaceous" for the standards of that trade, and moved to pin-up illustrators and photographers. From what I know of the werewolf read of things, courtesy of the hunters I mentioned and a few conversations with wolves, the 'It' - the wriggly one - generally wants us to be filth. As despicable, as greedy and as imperious as we can be. To torment Kine, to torment each other, to climb to positions of power in Kine society, to reign over it and over the world. It doesn't do so because it particularly loves us, but because our worst impulses are in alignment with what It wants.

I don't quite subscribe to the lupine view of things, myself. There certainly are forces that they appeal to and fight, those forces objectively and measurably exist; drawing a rigid grid as part of a ritual helps if you wish to try and ward off the wolves or their wriggly enemy, all while a spiral is a sure way to ward specifically the wolves off, or draw their ire, depending. Symbols tend to have power, words tend to have power, and there certainly are some sort of masses of energy, power and meaning that roughly align with that they say is there, at least three primary ones and a myriad lesser ones.

But I think the wolves (and other were-shifters) just lucked into a somewhat accurate assessment of what forces do exist on a level they are attuned to understanding, and they excessively personalize it all out of sheer, unrelenting, prehistoric, tribalistic animalism. Same as tribalistic Kine tend to have a spirit for every stone and every gust of wind and every branch, figuring that there's a person of sorts to appease at every moment, when you walk in the woods. It could be that the wolves just mistake cause and effect, origin and consequence.

Perhaps they figure that:

Elaborating on it, you are not wrong to view the theoretical wight-sabbatites-with-brains as something counterintuitive to the Thing's own designs. And that's because there's no real singular Thing. Wolves seem to think it's a multiheaded presence of sorts, but I don't like that, either. If I had to guess, there's a roiling ecosystem of sorts, of what can be vaguely described as 'Thingness'. Some of that is just Kindred, some of it is Kindred who turn into Wights, some if it is Sabbat, some of it is wolves who turn into those psychotic, spiral-enjoying, rape-and-plunder obsessed beasts, some of it is just Kine drilling for oil everywhere. Brand it any given way, those, by wolf estimate, contribute to the Thingness ecosystem, so they hate all of those and fight all of those.

My practices contribute to the Thingness, because I've inherited my Sire's foul relations with wolves, but I'd guess you yourself contribute to It a little, just because your work borders a tiny bit on Thingness. Just as there are aspects of the other two, most probably mainly the Rigid Structure's, ecosystems in what we both do, because everything leans a given way.

Theoretically? That thinblood is a little walking node of the Thing's ecosystem; one tiny part of a huge whole. My nights pass pleasantly enough, if somewhat repetitive. The Sabbat continue to menace the area but the combined forces of the Jacksonville Camarilla and St. Augustine Anarchs keep them at bay easily enough. For once there isn't any form of trouble knocking on my door, allowing me to pursue my own affairs - splitting my time between here in St. Augustine and my "duties" as a professor at the university in Jacksonville. I continue to teach and guide my flock of students in their spiritual development. All in all, I should say that things are good...

they aren't rational, from the talks with Scholar I've learned that the gift Gaia gave to the wolves was rage, sheer rage. A number of Shifter breeds are extinct because of the wolves though they likely don't remember such atrocities. Having spoken to an elder shifter, I've learned some of the mythology and beliefs of the wolves. not much mind you but enough to understand the psychology. They are hardwired to feel rage towards any wyrm taint, vampires as a byproduct of being undead emit a scent that is similar to wyrm taint and thus triggers the murder-instincts of the wolves thus leading to the hatred and aggression typically displayed by the wolves. The only shifters I have regular[once a year counts as regular for this specific topic]] contact with are the Coyotes, which I've learned are the teachers of the shifters and thus where I've acquired most information I know though I'm willing to bet Scholar knows far more than me on the subject of shifters and their history and beliefs.

Not to disparage your associates, but Coyotes are traditionally considered Trickster animals, much like foxes. Not sure how much that carries over, but I have read that they (Shifters) have been in the Americas for a very long time, and that could have influenced the Native American belief. Most of the time I dress in professional attire - a blouse, skirt and jacket (usually a blazer). I prefer to add a ribbon and stockings for an extra touch. Beyond these I own a few nice dresses for formal occasions, a couple of bedlah, and a few reproductions of dresses I wore in the 18th and 19th centuries.

I've fallen hopelessly in love with furs ever since I hugged my grandmother's 3/4 length brown mink. Every fur has its story, and properly cared for, it can last for a lifetime.
From least to most expensive, my most frequently worn coats are mink - especially Mahogany - arctic wolf, foxes - especially silver and black - chinchillas, Russian sable, lynx, ermine. None are dyed save for my lovely crimson chinchilla, and a rainbow fox for Pride nights with the girls down in the Southern Hemisphere.
I also love raccoon and muskrat but they don't look as glamorous, I wear them when I need to be appear "less affluent."

My most expensive coats are enough to make me look like an empress, but for really formal occasions I will unleash the beasts, to name a few: king cheetah, "black" tiger (darkest blue, white stripes), ghost (white, grey rosettes) jaguar, Maltese (blue) tiger. Out of those I mentioned, only the king cheetah isn't dyed, just a rare colour, and a beloved vintage piece. Tiger and jaguar pelts came from animals born and died in captivity, and had their skeletons and other tissues donated to universities, courtesy of my clients' influences. They were dyed to look like cryptids, a kind of Masquerade to keep the kine guessing, so when they ask me: "Is that real?", I'll answer: "Oh, please! Have you ever seen a tiger with dark fur and white stripes? Do I look like the kind of person that would put one over my shoulders?"

I just hope one day people can grow furs as tissues in laboratories. But that's just the outerwear, we've only scratched - or rather, caressed - the surface.

Underneath I wear a variety of thin, flattering tailor-made dresses with saturated, attention-grabbing colours that either contrast the coat, like grape purple for the king cheetah and gold for the crimson chinchilla, or that complement it, like midnight blue for the black tiger.

Goth is a popular choice because it gives starving neonates an excuse to look pale and a better chance to get a free dinner, since we have the internet no kine seems to know it's a music genre.

So it has been 15 months since my last post. We’re in 1920. I digested the Brujah quite nicely. For a while there was only me and Ansel. He wants to partake in the forbidden juice too, so he’s studying how to hide the marks of diablerie. He came up with a new (old for you) necromantic ritual that I baptized “Veil the Beast”. It consists of using the soul of the departed to cover your own, and hid it from Auspex.

We… hum… used a wraith to try and cover my soul, but unfortunately the auspex I acquired through diablerie isn’t high enough to see auras. So we kinda wasted a ghost because we promised to release him. Though we did managed to get the Jewish mafia off our backs, and gaslighting them into believing that my killings of their men were the act of the communists.

We got joined by the American Malk and Constantine the bumbling Brujah while interacting with the mafia, and disposing of the wraith’s fetter.

Constantine is apparently haunted by the ghost of one of his old friends. One that doesn’t die when it is killed. Also it’s not any regular Casper the friendly ghost. It’s a Specter. It turned into a monster out of a Tzimisce’s wet dreams and became corporal.

So I ate it. I can cross eating a ghost out of my list lol.

Thing is the Malk used his Tommy gun inside Ansel’s manor. Which brought four cops into the house. Then the Malk panicked, thinking that the group couldn’t sweet talk their way out of the problem and called my name. So when one of the cops went outside I killed them. And ate their head and left the body on a swing at the local park.

So now the cops are on the hunt for me again.

Good news, Ansel is hosting a dinner party soon! And guess who is invited to do a speech? Here’s a hint: He’s well famous for his moustache and his opinion on Jews!

I've used kangaroo hide for my longer whips for decades, once I received one as a present I could never look back. My pachyderm whips are all short and don't look or sound anywhere near as nice, they cannot match the "agility" of the kangaroo, but they hit so hard, a mortal can cause another an exposed fracture with one.
It's the combination of tensile strength and flexibility that makes kangaroo so durable and liked by me and whipcracking artists.

To reiterate, unless ghouled animals and other "supernatural" beasts are involved, when it comes to rare animals, I only buy materials that are either vintage, or harvested from creatures raised in captivity. I don't want pelts ruined by traps, malnourishment, disease or parasites.
My priority objectives are Amur leopard, and snow leopard. A few zoos have them. The purpose is getting ready for this winter with a full length coat of each species.
As a longer term plan that would shock even Cruella De Vil herself, a white lion coat, but made exclusively from their manes. I remember a video of some place in Africa that breeds them in captivity. I will probably dye it, eventually, but I haven't decided on the colour(s) yet.

I have a question for everyone: what is, or was, your experience and relationship with your sire, and how did it affect your relationship with your childer, or the childer you want to have in the future?

Mine was an appreciator of comedy and had this sense of humour I couldn't seem to agree with, for someone who embraced me pretty much on a whim, he taught me a lot, sure, but there were too many lessons I needed and I had to learn them all by trial and error, if not from other kindred.

In hindsight, I feel he did what he was doing because he didn't want to be seen as a bad sire by our clanmates, rather than doing what is best for me - and I think I'd be dead if I didn't already knew some things before my embrace, like how to protect myself from a select few types of men, keep secrets, and uphold an easier version of the Masquerade, because in those days, a police raid in a dungeon meant the place and everything in it were going to be confiscated.

I spoil my childer and train them thoroughly because I decided I should be the kind of sire - and parent - I wish I had. I wanted them to love me and make me proud.

My relationship with her was complicated. She saved me from being killed after I found out about us as a mortal, Embraced me, and I think she did a good job teaching me what any good Kindred should know. She, much like me, was obsessed with Thaumaturgy and we might spend days or weeks practically locked in her study doing research and experiments. The main source of conflict between us was that I cling to my Humanity and still hold a lot of my mortal morals and she didn't. She went too far pretty often, and that's what got her destroyed. She also punished any perceived failings of mine, such as my way of dress and speaking/typing with beatings, starvation, or on one occasion, chaining me to a chair while a few of her ghouls came towards me with torches.
That last one might have just been training used as a punishment actually. Long story short, I cared for her, respected her mind and what she could teach me, and now she's gone. C'est la vie.
