>>96896081>>what's your favorite crime to use as a cover-up for feedingIs this for when you overdo it and the cattle dies or...when you just normally feed from them.
>>96896081Illegal Border Crossing. Working for ICE has nice perks aside from the hefty signing bonus. None of those kine exist until you process the paperwork on them so if you just don't... Look there's a reason the Cam spends so much effort to keep the border as porous as a colander.>>96891901Trust me on this... the right words can do more damage than sunlight. Thinking about how our bloodlines interact with our disciplines and all I finally figured the special trick to Dementation. You can really drive it home with just the right words. For some it's as simple as asking if a hot dog is a taco. For others it's about asking how they REALLY feel about something and using a bit of magic to force them to be honest with themselves. Then the cognitive dissonance takes care if the rest.
>>96894706>Como se dice “chaise lounge” en francais? The answer, you cheeky little fiend, is chaise longue. It means "long chair.">>96895258I see you are up to your usual shenanigans, Monsieur Shark. I wish you the best of luck. In the unlikely event your adventures carry you to Egypt, stop by Cairo and say hello to my younger self. You can find me in the part of the city they call "Old Cairo" performing as belly dancer in a small cabaret, in between my visits to The Dream Court.>>96896081When not partaking of blood freely given by my students, I usually act as a "good samaritan" helping some hapless drunk or other unfortunate to find help. At least until I can pass them off to someone else. As for killing a vessel... well there is a benefit to knowing the Samedi crimelord who controls the coroner's office.
>>96896614>When not partaking of blood freely given by my students, I usually act as a "good samaritan" helping some hapless drunk or other unfortunate to find help. At least until I can pass them off to someone else. As for killing a vessel... well there is a benefit to knowing the Samedi crimelord who controls the coroner's office.Best solutions usually are a mugging/robbery gone wrong, stab/shoot them a few times and you might pass it off like the corpse got dumped from somewhere else, hell burn it or dump it on the nearest river or docks, cops might think it was the mafia or a crime of passion from a close person. The cheekiest thing you could do, which is a good way to create some chaos in enemy lines, pick a gender/race/age group, create a pattern of victims, then create a pattern of coverups, maybe all of them have a slit throat or well a quirk to attract investigators, eventually you will have the boys in blue trying to find an imaginary serial killer for months completely locking down a city area and worse closing the feeding grounds of those who oppose you.But hey you didn't hear it from me.
Hello, is it acceptable to ask for advices?I have been embraced two months ago. Since then, my sire has confined me to her lodgings so that I do not embarass her. She taught me many things, but three weeks ago she left and did not return since. She left no specifics instructions, nor did she mention she would be gone for so long. I have run out of stored blood a little while ago but I am not allowed to go out on my own yet. Is this some sort of test? Should I be concerned...?
>>96896786Do you know your clan?
>>96896788I have some suspicions but no outright confirmation. My sire deemed it more interesting to let me guess with the elements she gave me,. I'm fairly sure I'm not a Nosferatu, at least. Unless her description was very hyperbolic.
>>96897904>>96896786Do you know your generation? Also quick elimination. Do you have a reflection in the mirror?Does a cross burn to be around?Do you feel extra artistic? Are you unreasobaly angry for no damn good reason? Are you now a wizard? Are you in all ways but physical, a wolf and go awoo? Are you really into ancient egypt for no good reason as well?Did your sire have a “leather” couch that quirky sobbed when sat upon?Do you think you’re better than everyone and have the net worth to prove it?You already know you’re not a test-tube crack baby looking SoB. Think that’s all the important clans.
>>96898602You forgot:Do you hear voices in your head? Do these voices sometimes give you surprisingly accurate insights?Do you really, really, REALLY want to suck on another vampire? Was your sire related to you? Did they talk about "keeping it in the family?"
>>96896081>what's your favorite crime to use as a cover-up for feedingyoure talking about accidental kills, yeah? i dont fuck around with feeding on things that are criminal to kill, but my go to for coterie mates who fuck up is to make it look like they died in some sorta fire. a body burnt to shit is a body you cant as easily work out the cause of death from. >>96896786>Is this some sort of test? Should I be concerned...?yeah, id be worried. first thing you wanna do is make sure you find an easy source of blood. something that will keep you from frenzying in a nightclub and ripping the masquerade a new one. because no prince is going to be happy if some unknown newborn stumbles into court with a list of violations a mile long. also, your sire is probably dead, sorry. like, if i were a bookie assigning odds to her survival, id be thinking 35:1.
BrujahGODS tomorrow is OUR DAY.
>>96896786Kid, if you're in LA come find me. I'll straighten you out.>>96902575Am I missing something? What are you on about?
sorry for not posting, busy with life, got infections to fight off, and a shit memory. Greetings friends, this has been a more eventful however long it's been since I last posted. Turns out the eldest childe is a dickhead alongside being a kleptomaniac. Murderous pranks aside it'll be a bit before I get everything cleaned up as most of the staff are dead because that old bastard decided to leave a present. -KakophoniAlso if anyone has experience with breaking spells and enchantments please let me know.
>>96903464>Am I missing something? What are you on about?Remember that whole business with the gunpowder plot in London? Never heard anything about the Brujah being involved in it, but I wouldn't be surprised.
>>96896081Love the image, reminds me of Mi calliente <3She's moved to Texas fully now! Definitely going to plan a trip to her Haven. So Kindred, How fares your evening? What weaves your webs? Anyone wish to hear what the Cobweb whispers to me?
>>96898602>>96899902Yes, my sire spoke of the clans at length, and pointed me to some documents of her library as well. My best guesses would be Toreador or maybe Ventrue, but I think she made a game of throwing red herrings at me. She left no mirrors within reach, for exemple, but my reflection seem normal enough in water or glass. She have a number of egyptian artefacts and tomes, but some of others origins as well. Some nights she'd have her orchids sing, come the morning, but they still seem to be orchids, not fleshy flowers. She made no mention of generations. Is this revelant to my situation?>>96901541That's... very worrying. What make you so sure?>>96903464I'm grateful for the offer, but I'm very far away from LA.Hunger is growing increasingly difficult to ignore. I'll try to leave the haven and find something tonight.
>>96904728Welcome to the night. Beware the beast. Slake your hunger, but never drink the guiltless dry, lest you lose one more link is in your chain. If you let the wolf out unchained, it will devour you forever. You are a butcher amidst cows, be wary that the bovines do not see the seams in your mask slip, lest they start to buzz and heat ball you.
>>96904728I guess you’ll find out if you’re venture or not when you feed on a hobo and get sick. They have “refined” palates. I’ll send you some vitae wine though. Should be a good back up if you can’t suck off the homeless. >>96899902Ah, thank you my dear. I thought I was forgetting something. >>96904649Yo, send her up my way. Far too many fiends in my neck of the woods. And you know I love your web whispers.
>>96904129Gimme specifics of the spell and enchantment you purely theoretically need to break, and how loud and obnoxious you can be about it. >>96904728Bottomfeeder is generally fairly pessimistic, which comes with the territory of being a Nosferatu. That said, your Sire really is most probably dead or otherwise indisposed, or she's even more forgetful than is the norm for a Toreador and you were abandoned. Going to bet on 'dead', though.I suggest trying to visit night clubs and such, for feeding. They're good spots, and a hookup is easy blood. Just be mindful to not drink whoever you're with dry.
>>96905954Lost my name again. I'm starting to guess that giving out that ritual for Nomad was actually a bad idea and somebody's discontent with me, the constant technical difficulties are feeling a bit more like a pattern than they should.
>>96904129be advised, if you are on antibiotics for that infection: that is not a fart. I repeat: That is NOT a fart. Just in case no one told you outright, diarrhea is a common side effect of antibiotics.
>>96906775 HOLY SHIT I'M BLASTING OUT OF BOTH ENDS, MY HEART'S A SEIZIN, MY LUNGS A WHEEZIN, THE FUCKIN WALLS ARE MELTING AND I CAN HEAR SATAN'S VOICE TELLIN ME TO INVEST IN APPLE, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?! WHY DOES HE WANT ME TO INVEST IN APPLES?!?! bonus points if you correctly guess where it's from
>>96904728im sure cause most clans have their own ways of looking after childe. outside a few, they dont usually involve leaving the childe to their own devices for extended periods. but, hey, we can run down the list of clans which do that sorta thing and see what it means for you:>brujahma went out to the blood bank for a bag of blood and never came home. basically youd have yourself a deadbeat sire, unreliable but not necessarily out of the picture.>toreadoryour sire got bored. not even joking. toreador always freak me out with how short their attention spans are. i dont think you have much of a chance of getting her to look your way in that scenario, so youd be on your own.>gangreldeliberate abandonment. you need to swim instead of sink and your sire will probably be happy to take you back in. if you can find her, that is. i hear gangrel sires love to make themselves hard to find as part of their tests.its a shit situation, chief. no point in lying to you about it. if you can stomach it, animals are a reliable and inconspicuous source for blood. guess you should follow your gut and see what sort of prey comes naturally to you, though.
>>96906853 Holy shit is that a Sam O’Nella reference in OUR VTM roleplay thread??? It’s more likely than you think!
>>96896081That's a nice idea for a thread
>>96905954A kine staff member got an enchanted artifact latched onto him and we couldn't get it off, he's gone berserk and shooting him in the head didn't work. Fortunately we managed to solve the issue however we are now very weary of other trick the eldest childe might have pulled.
Hello friends, been a couple nights since I last popped in. Things are going well and nothing has exploded yet so I'm feeling somewhat hopeful for the nights ahead of me.>>96896081I have yet to kill while feeding, but once I had someone walk in on me and the human I was feeding on. Luckily bloodloss and drunkenness are similar so I just pretended to be hammered myself and like we were simply getting frisky. As a rule I prefer to stick to bagged, even with Ghouls around. Helps keep my head on straight.>>96904728In my rather personal experience, the best advice I can give you is so; Feed carefully, you never know what someone is on or what part of town you're in. Feed slowly, it's preferable to under-eat than over-eat. One leaves you peckish, the other with a body. Carry rubbing alcohol to swish around your mouth after feeding. Don't swallow, but it won't kill you just make you puke. Find a marketable skill and use it. I've become a tattoo artist postmortem for example.>>96905959Could very well be just bad luck, but I'll PM you some stuff I've got about ritual and curse breaking that might help.>>96908145I'll send the same to you. I'm less familiar with enchanted items than I am spellwork, but there's hopefully some stuff in there to help. While it rankles slightly to admit, I've not known many of my fellow Warlocks to be very good with curse breaking.
I forget who asked me but:I've reached out to the thin-blooded alchemists, they have yet to respond
Which clan is it easiest to pass oneself off as, preferably with the least knowledge required? Asking for a friend.
>>96909361ravnos, cause everyone naturally avoid you after you say that
>>96909397SWIM is looking to NOT be run out of court.
>>96909417shouldda said sosecond best is brujah, they embrace anything
>>96904728Is the local prince or baron aware of your existence? Have you been introduced to them? If not, that's probably something you should do sooner rather than later. They may even know what happened to your sire.
>>96908214That would've been for me. I'm still doubtful I'll manage to figure it out and have a few locals I've been in talks with about it. Who knows though.>>96909361Most people I know don't actually share their Clans with others unless they're close or a specific Discipline is needed for something. Other than that, Brujah. They seem to come in the widest assortment of types due to their Embracing practices (not a lack of them, just a wider pool). Just pretend to have strong opinions about politics from your Kine days and nobody will bat an eye.>>96909465This. Even Barons like to know when newcomers show up, let alone a fresh Embrace.
Can't wait to leave this city, supposedly the tropical storm is over so we can head back to the coast of Florida without issue, I haven't checked the news cycle to see what's the situation. Not that it matters my residence there was not static but I don't want to have to scram for a heaven after 3 hours of travel no matter how comfortable the jet is.
>>96909361I concur with prior statements that Brujah are the easiest to masquerade as. I will also state that Prince Bey of Cairo has an open invitation to all Caitiff, should have the means to travel there and be so inclined.>>96909861The weather is clear here, and expected to remain so for at least the next week. If you pass through the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area, use extra caution: the Camarilla and Anarchs are on a war footing in response to frequent incursions from the surrounding Sabbat territories and are likely to be very suspicious of any out of town Kindred passing through.
Anyone else notice how loud the pain got recently? Feels like something is coming>>9691019655>>969098618>>9690951192
>>96910196Back at the city, there were lakes in the tarmac so it took us a few tries to land but, we're alright.Apparently the Chinese lady who sent me and my partner to steal diamonds for a Toreador did it so we could sabotage his brother the ex-leader should I say, of the Triads to get herself the chair from his parents. The good news 500K turned into 1 million to split since she never wanted her original take for setting it up.Now me and my partner are 500K richer. All of this is actually the progress of the chronicle I'm running for a friend who has been my eternal storyteller, this was my second time trying to run for just him and it's going much better than the first time.>>96911232Do you have any more insight?
>>96911241The ambient pain has been getting louder recently and it presses deep in my throat. In the hospital it hums even louder. Especially in the ER and ICU. Even when it's mostly empty. Lately the agony has just been screaming to me. Worse than back in 1999.Captcha says 28, I still say 8.
I learned how the alcohol that can effect/affect[never know which to use] kindred.Apparently you take a certain amount of vitae to the same part alcohol and leave it in a specially prepared barrel after you've mixed it first. This explains the sheer volume of the stuff at the manor. Also Scholar is in better shape though he has a "hangover that feels like I got pulled through a millimeter diameter tube then put through 18 rounds of the roughest beatings a kine can muster." so he'll be out of commission for a while. -Kakophoni
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck wifi and random disconnections, I had to wait for someone on the first floor to fuck off for the nightBut since covid they never do !>>96911232Heyy, that's the last digits of the wifi codeWeird

The night went well enough. I did not get murdered, I did not kill anyone, and there was no Masquerade breach. All in all, better than expected. >>96904921>>96908182I appreciate the advices. I took a page from the classics and pretended to be a lost and vulnerable waif until someone would try to help or take advantage of me. It worked well enough. I have my very own mugging knife, now. Creatures of the night, beware.>>96905870You have my gratitude, I have found the bottle. But... how did you know where to send to it? And how did it arrive so quickly?>>96905954>>96907248This is her haven. She wouldn't have left everything behind just to get rid of me. Which mean you're most likely right and she's dead, and I'm probably soon to follow. Wonderous. >>96909465>>96909511There were mentions of an appointment with the powers that be to introduce me, but that's it. I've yet to meet any kindred beside my sire, and there's no convenient notebook listing the name and contact details of the local personalities, of course. What now? First priority seem to be making myself known to the city ruler?Should I try to find other kindreds and hope they're willing to help rather than murder me? Lie low, wait for some acquaintance of my sire to knock at her door and hope -they- are willing to help?
>>96911232Well, I shall be sure to stay on my toes and see if I can find anything of significance related to the number 55. Merci, monsieur.>>96911241Congratulations on your unexpected bonus lucre. If you ever pass by St. Augustine I should introduce you to Baron Christopher: he always has a job or two for morally flexible Kindred with particular sets of skills like yours.Hope you continue to have fun. I use a combination of characters and events taken from a tabletop chronicle and a LARP I played in for inspiration.>>96912495I'm curious if you can expand upon the first and fifth insights you presented, Monsieur Brainclot.Story hooks and interaction are always appreciated.>>96912770I recommend you look for a haven of your own and gather whatever you can take with you from your current location. If your sire met an untimely end at the hands of an unknown party, they may be trying to find her haven and you don't want to be caught alone. After you've secured a new shelter, you can begin looking for the powers that be to introduce yourself.>>96905959>>96908182Ah, our pair of Tremere make their reappearance on the stage. I believe young Kakophoni's problem lies in good hands then.
>>96896081>what's your favorite crime to use as a cover-up for feedingI prefur to not kill but uh if something goes wrong driving out of the city to your local evil pig farmer with a couple thousand in hand and asking for a little privacy so you can make his hogs some slop has been effective in the past. Also don't keep the clothes even if they fit learned that the hard way and I had to make 2 trips to the pig farm in as many months. Feels bad. Also I'm new here are puns allowed?
>>96913048>A King to E5Somebody somewhere is moving. A powerplay is being made. I dont know what yet. Hard to extrapolate. im seeing gunshots, some sort of explosion, a train? i cant tell>Who is behind him? Why is he laughing?Someones somewhere. Somewhere dark. And theres a figure. I cant tell who, but he's old, very old. He's laughing at him, He knows he has won. It planned all of this. Its sand? or dust? his laughter is low, deep, reverberating. He is laughing at someone. Theyre in front of something. a Tablet? a coffin? a glass? they tried to get there, to destroy it in time, to stop things form happening. its too late, its going to wake up. He is hungry
>>96912770Glad it made it to you. Also>IP addresses are true names DO NOT INVESTIGATE>>96913048By God now there’s TWO warlocks here? It really has gone downhill. >>96911425Might have to try that for the blood rum I’ve been trying to get working. Thanks for the idea. Also, tell Scholar his brains he sent me have amalgamated into one mass. They call themselves and I honestly don’t know what that means beyond some kind of mathematical operator from calculus. >>96912495Lovely. Just remind her that any altercations must be done within the arena or you will be drawn and quartered and left for the suspiciously large vultures in these woods and the sun! Also thanks for the insight about hydrocortisone! Jimothy twisted his knee something fierce “wrestling” with our new nagaraja friend. I told him to wear a condom or something.

>>96912495There's been loud howling recently and there's a cornfield a few miles out of town... Troubling. I really don't want to deal with Garou.>>96912770You could try to be a little proactive with finding your local leader. Look for bars open til shortly before sunrise or Kindred related puns in the name. Doesn't always work, but you'd be amazed at how many of us use audacity to hide ourselves. Also any Kindred with Auspex will probably notice a new face around town and may reach out to you.>>96913048It's a pleasure to see you as well, Serpent.>>96913706I like to think I'm altogether rather bearable for a Tremere. Lavender as well seems a good sort.

>>96913048>Congratulations on your unexpected bonus lucre. As long as its someone else garden and not mine, I would gladly piss on it for the right sum.
been a bit since i gave an update on the hunter situation. long story short, the rat problem was taken care of and ive reported back to the prince. blue blood prick asked me to "continue to monitor the hunters movements in cooperation with the sherriff". at least im off the hook for the embrace, i guess, but fuck that.anyway...unrelated, but have any of you guys actually sat down and had a talk with a hunter? picked their brains a little? because, hypothetically, of course, i think theres a lot of shit we could learn from em. real fascinating guys. all these religious orders and such.>>96905954>Bottomfeeder is generally fairly pessimistic, which comes with the territory of being a Nosferatuhah, just noticed this and i want it known that i have a rep for my sunny disposition and sociability among my clan. im a regular pollyanna.>>96911232>>96912495>>96915986im not the only guy noticing all these malks having visions of shit all at once, yeah? cant be a coincidence. >>96917307what clan are ya? i just give some useful info by way of apology if i upset someone i want a good relationship with, but im a nossie so info hoarding is my specialty.
>>96912770figuring out your clan would be good before meeting the prince/baron/bishop, if you can. some people cant stand licks that dont know their clan. try and seek out anyone who knew your sire before she went mia.
>>96917668Eeeeh, 'round these parts we're called "putains de roms", what's the correct moniker again...>nossieI remember that, you're the man I need ! Tell me what's inside his ugly mouse's head so I can stop him from tearing my soft parts out, please>sat down and had a talk with a hunterOnce, I guess, but he was more on his way to becoming one than being oneDon't know if that counts
>>96917307Find out something they want and/or need and then gift it to them very publicly. They'll either be forced to forgive you publicly (even if not privately), or will actually appreciate it and forgive you for real. Depends if you want a political forgiveness or a genuine one too. In that case, an honest apology will probably do it.>>96917668Congrats on solving the rat issue and getting out of trouble. There was also the person last thread who mentioned an anti-psychotic goat, which I can only assume is a goat they force feed anti-psychotics to then drink from. Not sure if they're a Malk but still.>>96917991Same here actually. There was an ex-hunter at the old Chantry that was turned. He didn't really like talking about his old hunting days, but I can understand it considering how many people he lost in the process. He was one of the few Kindred in town that wasn't a Tremere too, but a Gangrel.
>>96912770I wish I could give you some advice, kid, I do. I sympathize, I never knew the sucker who Embraced me. But I got picked up by a gang of Nomad Biker Gangrel the second I woke up from my food coma after my first feed. I got lucky, stupidly lucky, and I know it. So all I can do is offer you a couch to crash on and a fake ID if you can get to the American Southeast. Though it sounds like if you can get there you can also hit up a big tittied SnekVamp. >>96912495So... You uh, you do anything to get these insights? Or do they just come to you? I've never had anything like this, unless knowing just the right words to make Dementation hit just a little bit harder counts. I've never had a chance to talk to another Malk and as far as I can tell I'm completely sane and not receiving prophetic whispers beamed into my brain from outside reality.
>>96918114>very publiclyThat's the thing, he hardly leaves his techno bunker/cave system, except when there are corpses to cover for. Aaand I really don't want to meet him alone in the catacombs>wasHe's not there anymore ?I guess it's hard to go from their side to our side
>>96913706I was unaware he sent brains to you, will have to ask him assuming he doesn't fall into torpor to sleep off the hangover. The manor is mostly repaired. Dealing with a low gen fae-touched kindred is never fun, especially when said kindred is wasted and using ever discipline at his disposal to fuck with people. Yes I'm a bit bitter about it. -Kakophoni
>>96918436I feel like I'm gonna regret asking but what happened?
>>96917991>Tell me what's inside his ugly mouse's head so I can stop him from tearing my soft parts out, pleaseslow down, chief. whos "he" and what mouses head am i meant to know the insides of? if youre after a guy who can help you "speak" with animals, i can try and walk you through the process, i guess? >>96918114>Congratsthanks. at least my work spying on em isnt solo and less direct now. can return back to the original issue with my childe.>>96917991>>96918114thats a half count on both cases. you probably both got some sorta feel for what theyre thinking. your ritual brought on the hunter question, druids. which, uh, came in handy in a way i wasnt expecting. so thanks for that. i cant say i got along with the one i encountered, exactly, but i respect the way he thinks. knew he was weaker than us, even in large groups, and used his apparent weakness against us. making us complacent and so on. i respect the mindset, think we could use a dose of it. he was also oddly practical for a religious nut. tried to ply me for info as i was doing the same. i could almost like the guy, if he werent trying to kill me.anyways, if anyone needs info on hunters, hit me up and we can work out an exchange. sudden windfall in info on them, you see.
>>96918207I may not have advice for you then. Assuming the underground cave system means they're a Nosferatu, I've only ever met three and only spoken to one more than twice. In person at least. As for the ex-hunter, last time I was there, he wasn't, but he came and went as he liked. I believe he was close with one of the other Elders and would stop by to see him from time to time. No idea if he's there right now, I'm not there nor in contact with anyone from my old town.Sidenote, if anyone ever meets a Gangrel from 1858 who still dresses like his old gunslinger days, can you tell him he still owes me a pack of smokes. He broke into my dorm and stole a fresh one from me and I'm still mad about it.>>96918544Very happy that you're getting use out of it. If you ever want to learn some others, I can probably piece together a whole set like the last one but for other useful ones I know. Wake With Evening's Freshness is one I think most Kindred could get quite a bit of use from. And please, call me Druid. Druids was my Sire. ;)
>>96918595>they're a NosferatuExact. You don't have any "forgive and forget" maléfice in your repertoire, do you noooow ?>>96918544>whos "he" The catacomb dweller I'm hiding from. Since you're from the same curse, I thought, you knooowHe works on masquerade affairs along others I never met, and I work for him here and thereTraffic diversion, dead ends, falsification of video proofs...But he's a dick and the pay sometimes sucks
>>96918858No, if any do exist they're beyond me. Once again I'd say to apologize and take the hits if you have to. We've all got to work together whether we like it or not, y'know? Bottle up the Beast raging in your head and set that anger towards long goals. Whether that goal is deposing of him and taking his seat, getting "even", or whatever. Small slights, long prices and all that. But you gotta be there for it.
>>96913048You're right, and the malkavians all seem to speak of incoming doom... It still feel like a waste to leave all her possessions behind. A lot of them seem ancient, valuable, both, or some kind of... artefact? I'll search for another secure location, and try to triage and catalogue whatever I can until then. >>96914469Thanks for the advice. I've tried visiting a few bars, nightclubs, and a couple promenades favored for nightly strolls, so far without success. If any kindred noticed me, they chose to avoid me for now. I've found a dark romance themed bookshop/coffee shop which will need to be investigated further, however. The owner was... suspiciously enthusiast. On a side note, the local cats seem to have taken a liking to me. They've been quite friendly, a few even followed me through the night. A little weird, but it's nice to have some company at least.>>96917684Working on it. Hopefully I'll have figured it out by the time I meet someone. >>96918152I appreciate this, but I'm on the wrong side of the ocean... I'll keep your offer in mind, thought.>Big tittied SnekVampWhat? >>96908182No such thing as luck, only push and pull of forces unseen. I've tried most standard warding methods, but none seem to really shake off the effect, if it's even an actual thing, so, I'm going to guess my best shot is just waiting out the attention of whatever the fuck it actually is. Thanks, still.>>96908145Describe the artifact and what it can do, besides driving Kine mad and making them very difficult to kill. Specifics would let me do the same as Druids and send you some basic aid, just more pointed. Last thing you'd want to do is empower it by accident instead of weakening it, which could happen if you try to break the enchantment with the same thing that made it in the first place.>>96913048Had to take a bit of a surprise country trip to conduct a ritual I figured would be taking place later than it actually had to. The place in question has all electronics just fucking stop working, once the weather's right and the woods are really, really quiet, so unfortunately I was deprived of the opportunity ot post here a bunch. Real tragedy.>>96918544I've had an annoying amount of experience with hunters, both complete imbeciles and nobodies and actually serious ones. Mostly because my Sire really liked using supposedly valuable students as scouts and bait. The serious hunters are where like a quarter of what I know about wolves comes from, they were almost worryingly informed.>>96920412>On a side note, the local cats seem to have taken a liking to me. They've been quite friendly, a few even followed me through the night. A little weird, but it's nice to have some company at least.Betting twenty bucks on that they're ghouled.
>>96913254Merci.>>96917371Let me know should you desire to stop by. I find Christopher never asks too much of me when he wants a favor. For a Samedi he's fairly personable. He can also arrange for a place to stay while you're here as well as acquire goods and services through less-conventional means without having to deal with Jacksonville's Giovanni.>>96918544I'm glad you were able to resolve you dilemma, Monsieur Bottomfeeder.>>96920412>What? By the very nature of dementation, somethings wrong about you, just like all of us in the 9th clan :)Im certain theres something about you that you do not realize youre doing that comes with the blood. Quite often i speak to my clanmates in riddles and double meanings, its like a cant or seperate language. The meanings of their words come to you like youre having an english conversation in a room of romanians who cant understand a word of it.The glass is cracked, yet stranglely clear.

>>96924967The hunters who went after wolves were honestly really good at it, for a bunch of people with basically no special powers beyond too much money, fancy military hardware, and contacts to buy explosives and silver in bulk. Which is to say, they actually bagged a few, and seemed to only bleed one or two guys every hunt, which is an absurd kill-to-death ratio, for Kine. They knew too much, were very organized, had some sort of superiors they were expected to bring results to, a bit of sway with local authorities, not sure how that worked with the local Camarilla also obviously being up to stuff. They even didn't seem to really care about me, funnily enough, almost were angry they were dealing with a vampire instead of upping their fucking KPIs in regards to werewolf-hunting. Strange guys, all in all.
Hey everyone. Busy night last night. As in everything went tits up busy. Sun set pretty early so I hit that biker bar around six-ish, about seven we got hit by fucking Wolves. They were either scouting us out for possibly months or we have quite the traitor because they hit nearly every major Elysium in town, killed like fifteen of us, set the Barons Haven on fire (he survived thankfully), basically completely tore our shit up.So to cut a long story very short, I've accidentally got three neonates who just lost their Sires in my living room who managed to convince me to take them "under my wing" and teach them what their Sires now can't, as well as hopefully Thaumaturgy. What the fuck do I do? I already said yes because I'm a dumbass and they asked after when we had the clear to celebrate. I didn't have any interest in having kids as a mortal or Siring now that I'm a Kindred, and now I have three. Any advice for how to wrangle a group of Neonates as barely not one yourself?
>>96931624CondoléancesIf you think about it, young neonates are basically, uh, older teenagers, so you can have as a basis how your parents treated you ?Can't help you there thou, mom's got taken by cancer around this time and my old fuck was NOT helpfulWho are they and what can they already do ? Let's talk about itYou thinking of moving somewhere ?
>>96932188My parents weren't absent, per se, but I definitely raised myself more than they did. Not thinking of moving either, I fought werewolves for my place here and splitting now feels wrong. As for the kids, I've got a Gangrel, Brujah, and a Caitiff. A proper one too, not just saying they are to hide their Clan. Gangrel is the freshest at nine or so months, but the others are barely older than her. I had originally grabbed them to drive me around and keep watch while I went around doing rituals and bloodwork to help the defense, but they started helping with my work after a bit.Gangrel is capable of basic Protean and Fortitude but hasn't learned any Animism yet. I've been keeping my eye on her because she's twitchy and more anger prone than most I've met.Brujah is very smart but too snippy for her own good. Quick learner with the rituals she was helping with. Handy with a gun but no idea which Disciplines she knows.Caitiff is an ex-college jock. He made it out the hood, so to say. Knows Potence and that's about it. Spent most of the night driving us around and keeping lookout, but he threw down with one of the wolves and didn't die so he's got potential.
>>96933135Yeaaah, you got a rowdy bunch. Not wanna perpetutes stereotypes but you probably can teach them more things than their creators would haveMaybe begin by turning up to your nobility to officialize things and clear one domain on the wayThat would take care of shelter and food and make them a bit more self-sufficient, + you would know where they are at all time so that's less anxiety = more time to thinkThey're revanchist ?
>>96933704Once the Cover-Up team is done, I was told there would be talk about getting people resettled in newer buildings or repairs done to ones that don't want to move. My apartment is fine but I might try to swing a bigger place in return for the help I did.Turning up the nobility might be hard, as I mentioned in a previous post I was a streetkid growing up, but that might help given who they are. Maybe I'll treat it more like apprenticeships than a Childe/Sire relationship. They want to learn some of what I can do, I want people to watch my back when I'm too busy reading to interact with others. If by Revanchist you mean seeking revenge against the wolves, rather than the Star Wars cult, more yes than no. Only the Caitiff doesn't, but at least the Brujah wants to learn more before she does anything. I doubt you would be surprised that we had to practically restrain the Gangrel from chasing after the wolves after they retreated.
>>96933834>practically restrain the Gangrel from chasing after the wolvesI can picture the scene in its totality I have one question thouh, you sure you're okay teaching them, in regards to your cabal of merlins ? Liiike, they can't be happy with you teaching for free or at allBecause I talked to a breacher with your origins before she got taken away and she told all sorts of things that led her to do, things I won't discloseAnd then she "disappeared"Not really familiar with anarchists stuff
>>96934671I can't lie, that is a fair point. I think I would like to, hell even the bits I've given out already would have me marked, but I also know a lot of stuff that would spell disaster for people if it got out, and I've got a deadman's switch set up for it.I've given up keeping my head down fully at this point, but I certainly don't plan on screaming Clan secrets at the top of my lungs. If any Chantry are reading this, don't worry too much. I'm a fool, not an idiot. If anyone from my old Chantry sees this, you know what I have on you.As for Anarchs, everywhere's different, but for my locale, there's only one other Tremere here and she almost stabbed me thinking I was here for her, and not a runner myself.
>>96934923>she almost stabbed me>deadman's switchHardcoooreBut I understand why
>>96933135A difficult situation you've found yourself in, Monsieur Druid. Before you begin any instruction in Thaumaturgy or other vampiric powers, I would first recommend teaching them practical skills for night to night survival: how to navigate Kindred/Cainite society so as to not draw the ire of the powers that be, proper methods for hunting and feeding, a crash course on potential threats and how to identify and evade/defend against them, how to find a suitable haven, etc. Once they have a firm foundation of skills to ensure their long term survival, then you can focus on teaching them Thaumaturgy or whatever other Disciplines you feel they are best suited to.
>>96896614>I see you are up to your usual shenanigans, Monsieur Shark. I wish you the best of luck. Thanks! I just hope that I’ll meet you all in the future!>In the unlikely event your adventures carry you to Egypt, stop by Cairo and say hello to my younger self. You can find me in the part of the city they call "Old Cairo" performing as belly dancer in a small cabaret, in between my visits to The Dream Court.I was about to ask how you know that we’ll eventually be assigned to Egypt… I often forget that I’m stuck in the past and you can either learn about me or might have met me… probably causing the mother of all grandfather paradox. So funny thing… my crew knows that I have no problem with eating our kind, and some suggested that I start eating Setites to gain mastery of Serpentis. At least the power that allows you to eat people with a prehensile tongue. That way I will never need to grab anyone to bite them. Sooooo, you got anyone powerful enough in mind that I can snack on? Probably someone who disappeared in mysterious circumstances that history wouldn’t remember?
>>96931624>Any advice for how to wrangle a group of NeonatesI mean if they've got a few months under their belt they could be worse offIn my experience, when it comes to orphan licks the first few months are the most lethal. When they've got the rules down and they've figured out Vampire 101 then the mortality rate kind of flattens out.You should probably teach them temperance more than anything, I know it's easy to pick on those clans and your average caitiff for being rowdy but from how you elaborate in posts like >>96933834 they sound like they need to learn when to keep their heads down.
>>96936132For the many flaws my Clan has, we are united in a way few others could imagine. Outside the Giovanni and Lasombra, I don't know anyone else who's Clan is quite so institutionalized. So yeah, deadman's switch. As long as I don't do anything stupid they should, hopefully, leave well enough alone. I've heard talk about independant Redwork groups across the country too, which they don't like but don't really hunt down like they would someone sharing Secrets would, y'know?>>96937526That is a completely fair point to make. I have a passion for Thaumaturgy, but you're right. I shouldn't let that become a detriment to the people I'm nominally in charge of. And yeah, I'll need to find teachers for other Disciplines because I'm passable with Auspex and worthless with Dominate. Haven't learned any others, but I would love to. Oblivion (specifically Obtenebration) and Obeah have always fascinated me, but I can't imagine I'll ever find anyone willing to teach me the second, let alone anyone who can use it. Especially given the admittedly terrible things my Elders did to theirs.>>96938066The first lesson I give them is going to be "Shut the fuck up and think". I can imagine Little Light, the Gangrel, won't take it well, but that's for tomorrow night. Right now everything is still tense and in limbo until we finish cleaning up.In other news, I have recently come into quite the surplus of Garou blood, some harvested pre-death, most post. I'm willing to make deals if anyone wants some, but please don't drink it. It's a very bad idea. We had to put down Big Mike's thirsty ass and it was messy.
>>96938320Got any other parts for sale, or only blood? Also, if you've gotten far with your ghoul girl, I'd suggest trying to use her to check on your new adoptive kids. Not outright spy, they'd notice and get angry, but just keeping tabs would be helpful and reasonably could come off as you caring about them, all while letting you know what stupid shit they're up to. If she's hot, they'd even welcome the attention.
>>96940731I've got much more blood than anything else, but I've got the top half of one of them in a deep freezer. No idea where the legs went. If you need or want more, I can talk to some of the others, but I make no promises I can get theirs. They've met the Ghoul already, she was cleaning my apartment when I was out drinking so she was there when we got back. But also a good idea, especially if I'm focusing on one of the trio for whatever reason. To anyone interested in the Garou stuff, I went and counted how much I have. Currently sitting at nearly 14 gallons of blood and as I said, from the waist up of one. I have claimed a few teeth and claws, but there are still most of them attached.
>>96938320>The first lesson I give them is going to be "Shut the fuck up and think".Best idea really.Honestly killing werewolves is probably one of the worst things that could happen for a neonate, other than actually dying. Now they've got a massive ego boost and a vendetta against an enemy most licks can't handle.>>96938320>surplus of Garou bloodNever tried using that in a recipe before, might reach out to you. Hope its not too potent to experiment with safely, has anyone managed to consume some safely? Did the gangrel bite any wolves? Could explain why they were chomping at the bit, beyond just their clan and personality. If its a matter of dosage then that means I can be sparing.
>>96941350Yeah, I couldn't agree more than it's a bad amount of ego they've got now. I'm not looking forwards to the fact that I might have to take a few of them into hand if you know what I mean. You can experiment with it, I have for a while now. Just be careful not to consume any. I've even seen a few drops send someone deep into frenzy. My Gangrel didn't bite any thankfully, but Big Mike did like I said in my other post, and his fat ass got a few too many mouthfuls. No idea if anyone has done it safely, but I haven't heard of it. Fun stuff though. Makes for particularly explosive rituals if they fail, as a warning.
>>96941462If a few drops are enough then I might have to pass. Thanks for the offer and advice, but rituals weren't really the plan here.
>>96931624sounds like one hell of a night, but at least youre not dust. surprised any young lick can survive a fight with a werewolf. dumb luck or a powerful sire, i wonder. still, im not exactly the model sire type, myself, but i do figure theres a reason the clans have their traditions for teaching their neonates the ways they do. the curses each clan has fuck with your head, make you more likely to take to certain ways of doing things than others. so id probably be trying to find any brujah or gangrel still kicking in your city and ask em for a few tips.as for the caitiff, id want to get a few clues on who his sire was and see if you can work out the clan from there. not that itd be easy, but could be entertaining. >>96925483My shame is now archived forever. Good to know for future reference, though.hey, every lick has blinders. especially a guy who spends every night covering up the fuck ups of every other lick within a 50 mile radius. i bet theres shit he doesnt have any time to look into. >just need something to not die in the end.when in doubt, always threaten mutally assured destruction. im not saying literally strap some bombs to your chest the night you confront him, but, yeah, something like that.
The bookshop owner admitted being a ghoul almost immediatly, but complained neither her master nor his friends had visited for a couple weeks. This is unusual, apparently, and she had hoped I'd bring news of them. She couldn't give me any useful pointers beside a few nicknames, and one of her regulars which hadn’t seen her own vampire for days either. No signs of others kindreds for the rest of the night. Any of you have experience with mobiles havens? A river barge, for exemple? Whatever is happening in the city, I don't think I should stick around to find out. >>96920479Great, of course. I should have known. Let's hope whoever control them doesn't want me dead because they're watching me from every rooftop by n
>>96938320>which they don't like but don't really hunt down like they would someone sharing Secrets would, y'know?I get it. And there can't be enough of them to careRiiight ?>>96942452>strap some bombs to your chestThaaaat could work, I got some beat down studies he didn't, normally. Also had the idea of purging his killing vibes with a body double. Not someone real, a puppet or a robot or something I could control from farAt least something that can walk on its own, like a zomb-zombStill, don't really know which of the bomb or the zombie's the easiest to get here. There's this gambler-failure mafia-related cheapskate I know, I renovated his living room, but I would need to go back for that...Might have either of them tough. Thanks for the idea
>>96944031>mobiles havens? A river bargeNoThey're as regulated as houses, you can't moor where you want, there is pretty much no real security, you can't just follow currents during the day so you're forced to stay in ports or where you got assigned near banks (there goes the "mobile" part), no placeNo fuuuunThe only fun things on water are the guinguettes fluviales
Why the fuck is my sire so technologically inept? Its worse than a elderly person. Their brains go soft, the boss doesnt have that excuse. HE KEEPS BRICKING HIS COMPUTER.>im tech support for fucking ever
>>96942452Mostly luck with a bit of well placed strength and spellwork. I hit the wolf with Dagon's Call to pop it's eyes, Jay got a lucky tackle and went for the throat (with his hands, thankfully), and then a far more physically powerful Kindred we were working with finished it off. As for Jay, the Caitiff, we actually know his Sire, or pretty close to it. He's a proper Caitiff, the type where the Clan Curse doesn't take right. Nossie Sire but he just looks like a pallid black guy. Now admittedly, said Nosferatu was a fairly high generation, but from what I've read and seen, their Curse tends to hit even their Thinbloods more than it hit him.>>96944031If you have a picture of the specific Kindred you are looking for, I could probably walk you through Illuminate Trail of Prey to help you find them.>>96944040Honestly the more there are the better it would be for me personally. Less of a chance they'd pick me instead of someone else.>>96944336A lot of why we can handle it so readily is that we often used a less advanced version of it growing up. If they could handle the telegram, using a rotary phone likely won't be that big of a jump when a touchscreen or PC would. It isn't a very good excuse however. They have had plenty of time to learn, given time is the only thing we have in surplus. Besides scheming at least.
Any other members of the learned clan down here in LA? Looking to connect with other Brujah who aren't just violent braindead anarchs.
>>96944031knew a guy who lived out the back of a delivery truck. refused to ever divulge his clan, which was kinda a giveaway he was something with a shitty rep. ravnos or maybe settite, id guess. anyway, it half worked out for him, but both him and the "haven" just disappeared one day. wouldnt recommend it as a long term solution, but to get yourself outta the city? could do worse.>>96944040>actually considering the nuclear option.nice, nice. i think you can even find recipes for makeshift explosives online these days like its nothing, too, if youre short on cash and are suicidal enough to risk strapping something that unstable to your chest. >>96944336not only are you on tech support forever, if youre at all like me, you were embraced for the sole purpose of being tech support. your sire will never stop seeing you as a glorified it guy.>>96944407>Mostly luck with a bit of well placed strength and spellwork.makes more sense. keep em away from any more werewolves, though, if thats even possible, just in case they got the wrong idea about how much of their win came down to skill or power. >He's a proper Caitiff, the type where the Clan Curse doesn't take right. Nossie Sire but he just looks like a pallid black guy.too good to mutate into a freak like the rest of us, huh? well, on the off chances he starts feeling the need to learn literally every bit of gossip he can, maybe try him out with some practical info gathering problems. yknow, "this pc is encrypted and you need whats on it. howre you gonna get whats inside?" that kinda thing. my sire liked cryptograms, too, but i never took to em.

>>96946195>Can someone here tell me what a skibidi is?My latest childe works on the internet, but she has lived through enough days and nights not to behave, speak or type like a "lolcat" or a "quirky chungus", or worse still, a "redditor" - seems I was blessed enough not to have to beat any such nonsensical habits out of her before her formal debut in our clan - and she told me this skibidi thing has its own Wikipedia page:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skibidi_ToiletI cannot, for the unlife of me, imagine how would anyone be entertained by this. How very baffling indeed. Then again, if it's the Nosferatu we're talking about, mayhaps those miserable souls were cursed with a bizarre sense of humour too, in addition to their distinctive appearance.>this strange dialect of the English languageAbout that, in regards to everything that doesn't have a Wikipedia page, my childe says to search for it on knowyourmeme.com or urbandictionary.comCombine the rise of functional illiteracy, with so many young mortals unable to read or write anything more complex than a tiny little message, with the proliferation of subcultures, slangs and codewords, and it feels like your English teachers' worst nightmares have become the standard. Why, you could even say not having a standard "is the new standard", as if a second Biblical Tower of Babel incident happened to us. Just when English was this close to becoming a language for all humanity, it keeps diverging, diversifying and degenerating to the point people living under the same roof can't understand one another anymore.
>>96946195>Can someone here tell me what a skibidi is?Some silly internet cartoon.Seems to have become one of those things younger people just say to mess with older people. Picture this, if you will:A marshy wetland forest. Water up to your knees. Waist in some places. A terrified Mexican comes bursting out if some shrubbery, splashing and floundering in the muck. Then an almost Dinosaur like growl that climbs to a roar.A fucking Monster Truck with the name DOOM BUGGY airbrushed in the side comes tearing through, tires throwing up walls of water. And leaning out the window is this Billy Connely looking motherfucker (if Billy Connely dressed like Lemmy) and he's twirling a laso over his head.I FUCKING LOVE THIS TRUCK!

*A rift through time and space erupts into schreck.net*What’s up bocos!Got some news for you all! We defeated Spartacus, the commies, the Berlin police as well as some Brujah Bolshevik! The former chief of police allied himself with the communist party, and invited some deathkorps from Russia to take over the government. Now I’m not patriotic, but I am loyal to my friends who are. So I joined the stormtroopers (actually wore the uniform) to raid the police headquarters where they were stationed, and I got handed a Grabenpanzer and a MG 08/15 as well as a grenade. We weren’t the full coterie tonight. Only my friend Ansen the Giovanni and the baby Brujah Constantine. We did good tonight while pretending to be mortals.Ansen masterfully ordered artillery. With a single shell he wiped the whole defensive line. We blitzed inside the police station and we got ambushed. Our human allies got hurt pretty badly but we kindred retaliated in kind. After that all that was left was the former chief of police, two deathcorps, and one of the two brujah vampires. The two who were at the Spartacus rally, and he was the one who pierced my obfuscation. I tossed my grenade square in their face and his celerity failed him. I staked his ass but it wasn’t enough. He healed and he tried to run away but my gun + his grenade wounds put him down.I am happy to say that I snacked on his soul. Got a lot more powerful… and an addiction to vitae. But that’s alright! On the one hand, one of the tenants of our faith is to help other Followers of Set and offering a clan mate up to you on a silver platter for your fine dining experience would constitute a breach of that tenant; on the other hand, there are certainly members of the clan whom I hold no love for and would be more than happy if they just disappeared; and yet another hand, there are the potential ramifications regarding history as I know and experienced it to consider - is it a paradox if I give you the name and location of someone I lost contact with during that time period? >>96950106I had some experience living on the streets before all this which lead to some pretty awful sleep spots, but as a Kindred, while on the run I slept in a beached ship that looked safe enough but I woke up to crabs trying to eat my fingers and all of my shit was soaked with seawater.Best of luck as well.>>96951489Hunters, at least the ones who know what they're doing, are a very different breed these days. With the way technology is advancing, I can only wonder if they won't even need to hunt us physically in a few years. That and the Masquerade being harder and harder to keep with cameras everywhere and computer systems cataloging faces, kind of makes one wonder how long we'll really last.>>96951952I also enjoy it when Elders show up. >>96941052I'll pay good money for the pelt, the brain, the heart, the ribcage, the skull and the spine of the top half you got. Especially if it's kept on cold, it's definitely mostly alive still, in that case, on a cell level. Could I guess just buy the whole body, to save you the effot of chopping it up, but I'm not quite sure what I'll be using the rest of it for, so that's a maybe. If anybody feels like selling a whole pelt, with claws attached, you tell them I'll be quite happy to take it also.>>96950106Had to more or less bury myself a week ago in the rubble of the actual, not quite actually safe safehouse, because it was either that or trying to find a cave in the woods and hoping that nothing finds me and eats me while I'm asleep. >>96952578I'll have Little Light help me part it out later tonight. Do you want the brain left in the skull or removed and bagged separately? I can ask around about a pelt with claws, but as you might imagine claws and teeth are currently pretty popular as trophies for anyone who survived, let alone if anyone managed to take one of them out. I've got a necklace made with a few of each that I'm working on putting some fun enchantments on, but it's slow going between all the other stuff I'm doing. The kids are doing well. Jay and Morgan (the Brujah) doing well but LL is... not struggling, but definitely isn't doing great. Gonna take her with me to talk to some other Gangrel I'm friendly with tonight so hopefully that'll help. Only time I've seen her stop twitching was when I threw my ghoul's cat at her, so I'll be pushing my plans to get and ghoul pets much further up the list too. I also found out she was barely 16 when she was Embraced. Does anyone know if that leads to any major problems long-term? Besides having the hormones of a 16 year old for eternity at least.
ah tis a wonderful night in montrealThe first day of winter the first day its below 0 and it also started snowing. Then turned into lovely ice rain killing everything covering it in a shell of ice cold death.I sit here in my lovely abode looking at mont royal shooting heroin at 2am with freshly harvested elder vitae.Ah what a lovely night I need a big titty goth ghoul or some other dark brooding female to give the succcc and do heroin with. REAL heroin not that fentanyl shit, fucking sabbat drug dealers. The kine I legit feel bad for these modern junkies, the god damn dealers at first got lazy when covid happened no more heroin from south east asia the really good shit the white stuff thats at least 90% pure. Nor was there that shitty #3 brown heroin from the middle east, thats 50% pure if you're lucky. No they ended up buying fentanyl and mixing it with chicken noodle soup powder. Some bulk restaurant shit made by everyones favorite parent company pentex. So you know there is some addev god knows what kind of evil in it. After a few months that was not good enough so they got some stronger fentanyl analog. Then that was not good enough so they started mixing all these fucking animal tranquilizers. Now its 2 kinds of fentanyl analogs one 100k times stronger than morphine the other a tad less stronger but lasters longer plus two super powerful research chemical tranquilizers a million times stronger then than shit for animals.Sick fucks managed to contact a pentext pharmaceutical subsidiary rep asking them. Hey we were using chicken noodle soup mix to cut our heroin. Its not strong enough, do you have anything "better".As of last month tons of people keep overdosing it seems, people are injecting some chemical weapon the russians came up with. Its not an opiate or a synthetic opiate but it binds to every opiate receptor.tl;dr fucking sabbot drug dealers man what is wrong with these guys, they enjoy killing junkies rather than making money

Hopefully not catastrophically weird.>I also found out she was barely 16 when she was Embraced. Does anyone know if that leads to any major problems long-term? Kids and the elderly tend to fall to the Beast more easily, and just are not really well-off mentally, according to a book from some Malkavian psychiatrist I'm trying my utmost fucking hardest to sell to somebody for a year now. Sixteen feels like an age that's not quite stable, not full-on a child but the hormones and the immaturity are a problem. Definitely keep an eye out for her.Long-term is anybody's guess. Maybe she stabilizes, maybe she spirals, maybe she gets weird, maybe you never see her again after she just leaves once. I don't want to say 'good riddance', but it was a bit of a relief when I no longer had to be around a fifteen-year-old Toreador, it was just uncomfortable.

The place was reduced to half-standing rubble when I got to it, so I just finished its destruction to be able to bury myself.Going to try and repair it sometime in the future, it was honestly fairly cozy.
Wait am i back here? Kindred thank goodness youre here. It was horrible, HORRIBLE! I was tralled at a furry convention, the IRA was there, the Credit Card Clan was there too! All i remember is something about reviving extinct dogbreeds, earthworms, & boars and bats.
Turning into a snake is probably the best power, right? Snakes can climb, swim AND slither, so like, they're the most adapted animal. It's like being a fishmonkeycheetah. I'd say there's probably not a better animal in the animal kingdom, to be honest.
>>96966933I'm inclined to agree. Nothing tops turning into a snake. Well, except turning into a mythical snake woman - that's even better!
>>96964552I don't disagree. There's a certain level of OpSec required of us as Kindred and it goes up when it comes to forum spaces like this. If there are any younger Cainites here, I have this message for you, I hope it can be of consolation: whenever you receive a call from an older vampire, and they yell at you, imagine them hanging from the ceiling, with this lady wearing a dozen extended families of sables on her back, doing her best to hold the smartphone for them.>>96974195>Fiou, that's a loooot of work, you must really like your job>>96974809>that sounds exhausting for both parties for so many reasonsI suspect either or both of you might be overestimating the physical component of my average session. In this line of work, we say the session has already begun as soon as the client enters the dungeon. In my case, I meet the client in his, or her, domain, receive some more gifts, we go shopping and visit the city together before we get to the real action. It is often the case that I don't spend half a week circling around a man in a cage clacking my heels, nor hitting him with a shark or rhino hide bullwhip over and over - or industrial steel cables for my tougher cookies. Back in my mortal days, I was shocked when I was first handed a written piece of paper by a trembling hand that said: "No pain of any kind." I get some of those even in these nights.Additionally, my clients often have so many different responsibilities that we effectively program our sessions precisely so they can be interrupted over and over. That's the primary reason I spend so many nights with my clients: they have to get their money's worth - or, things money can't buy's worth. I could be the needy and nagging wife, girlfriend, mother, that drags them away from the computer over one email too many. It's a similar idea to what sex workers call the "girlfriend experience." The labour and the demands here are largely emotional and psychological, more so with Kindred. "Are you coming to play, sweetie?"But if a Hunt is called, they'll be free, armed on their way before the prey even knows it. Victory is my command, too.
>>96974195>What do you do then to relax ? Any hobby ?I have an interest in architecture, best if ancient, and since I travel more than most Kindred I have more opportunities to enjoy it.I also like going to parties and livening them up with my art, I'm not always domming for cash. From time to time I invite myself to this or that club, including those where my childer are (when I wish to surprise them), and I bring a toy or two with me in there. At the very least, I should find a mortal, such as a musician, that wants a couple of strikes of the cane just to try it. Elsewhere, things get much raunchier: one night in a Russian club I barged in with a strap-on under my fox coat, locked and loaded, I started dancing, and before I knew it there was a line of girls, with a few boys, that wanted a taste. The birthday girl's BFF had a jacket that matched my fur, and she wrapped her pearl bracelet around the dildo before sucking it. Four boys wanted to know my heels' flavor instead. By the end of the ceremonies, my childe came to me and said: "I won a bet with the girls: you danced a grand total of 11 minutes." I told her: "Oh, betting on anything, are we now? Not only you're a brat, you even became English!"I'm not sure if it can be called a hobby, but it's so fun and rewarding to teach the pleasures, art and profession of SM to the next generations of mistresses, I'm more motivated than other professional dominatrices, as the new girls could never become my business competitors. Finally I've had various Cainites seeking my advice on topics that have very little to do with dominance in the SM context, including torturing enemies, a painless or painful death, testing their resistance to pain.Oh, and teaching fledglings and neonates - I think I've built a reputation for myself as a good sire and teacher in my clan, I like meeting the youngsters and listening to their hopes and fears.
>>96975869>i was hoping to hear that a prince or baron somewhere was into this, but thats still impressive.Thank you. I would like to get to that level within this decade.>>96973927>I've played with kink back when I was alive, but that's pretty much entirely fallen off these nights.Oh, I forgot to address this topic. I've had my share of Kindred who sought me for a session either because they felt nostalgia for freer, kinkier times, or to evaluate if they can still derive pleasure from this sort of play. About 95% of the "nostalgic" ones and 80% of the "evaluators" request my services a second time.I remember only one who didn't enjoy himself at all: one of my first Kindred clients, actually. The poor thing was suffering from a significant depression as he had just lost his older sister, they were embraced together so they continued to be brother and sister even in their unlife. We agreed to end the session, I had all he gave me reimbursed, and I redirected him to a specialist childe of mine. He's still struggling in some areas but he's improved a lot now. I pay him a visit once every two years to check on him, give him a big furry hug "from big sis", and a quick pegging, all free of charge. As for me, personally, I think I've only become more perverted as time went by.

Some shape adjustment, color, texture, the works. For a small, extra fee that'd mostly cover the time, effort and ingredients, I could try that, make the hair more fluffy and soft. It'd be not quite as authentic, but probably not awful to wear, as an upside. Same goes for more complex changes - adjusting the shape of it, maybe making it into less of a coat and more of something form-fitting. Or maybe just turning it into a pelt of an arctic wolf, just, Garou-scale. >That said, I wish you and all kindred to survive and succeed in any encounter with lupines. Why thank you, it's appreciated. The brat wanted me to be genuinely furious, so I took it out on her, it was not an act, as requested.I empathize a lot more with the Clan of the Hidden since then, I could never spend my unlife like that.>>96989931>imagine a baali with the powers of a lupine and a personality to match.Ew.>>96989947>feeDing on them right there in front everybody! It's quite counter-intuitive, but sometimes showing or telling the truth works better than lying, your average mortal isn't ready to accept the supernatural, but looks for "scientific" explanations, and blames their own feeble mind. But what if someone who is already in the know is also there?Behind the Masquerade is a simple (not easy) question: can we protect ourselves from these fools, now that every idiot has a camera with the internet in their pocket?
>>96990426>They think we are wormridden, that we are unwilling pawns of the wriggly one. What does it want from us? What manner of plans it has that they are trying to stop? If the answer is, say,: "Not even they know of its plans", then why fight at all? Would they go out of their way to fight a war when they don't know why or the victory conditions? Are they so certain of their victory?
>>96991079From what I know of the werewolf read of things, courtesy of the hunters I mentioned and a few conversations with wolves, the 'It' - the wriggly one - generally wants us to be filth. As despicable, as greedy and as imperious as we can be. To torment Kine, to torment each other, to climb to positions of power in Kine society, to reign over it and over the world. It doesn't do so because it particularly loves us, but because our worst impulses are in alignment with what It wants. Ostensibly that means that Its servants accept us and would work with us, but a Sabbat Brujah who posted here a little while ago, Nomad, seemingly got kidnapped by the rotten branch of wolves who serve It, as part of them trying to gestate something living in him that'd presumably be of greater use to It than just a vampire. And that's even given that the Sabbat are on okay terms with Its servants, relatively speaking. So, evidently, getting burned is always a risk.As a bonus to all that, our very existence is fuel for It, part because the usual Kindred behavior benefits It, part because we only thrive if Kine thrives, and would you guess it, Kine are helpful to It. So It doesn't even need to compel us to do anything specific, because just us being around contributes to It and its wishes, broadly. >What manner of plans it has that they are trying to stop'Plans' is a stretch, because It doesn't plan, It usually mostly wants and lashes out. What it wants is rot and filth. If It got to reshape all of us entirely, we'd all be Sabbat diablerists, probably, enjoying nearly nothing that's not directly related to trying to drink somebody dry. Wights with brains, almost.>Are they so certain of their victory? The ones who aren't inept children honestly tend to be kind of depressive and more certain that they're losing, than anything. Hard not to view it like that, I guess, given the state of things. Though maybe I just met particularly crybaby wolves, that's a possibility.
>>96991489>What it wants is rot and filth. If It got to reshape all of us entirely, we'd all be Sabbat diablerists, probably, enjoying nearly nothing that's not directly related to trying to drink somebody dry. Wights with brains, almost.I look in the mirror and think: "Is this not the opposite of what this thing desires the most?"I dare say, all this talk of mystical entities reminds me all too closely of the justifications given for random, unprovoked acts of violence against innocuous and insignificant nobodies I've seen throughout the past century. Let's pretend all of this is true and act as if vampires do, indeed, suck. What does a helpless thinblood getting drawn and quartered by lupines have to do with getting back at, let alone stopping, those that reign over the world? Do they think someone is going to erect memorials all over the country, demand that schools dedicate a moment of silence, and gather in the streets to shake some signs and shout slogans? They don't even know the little guy exists.
>>96991818The Lindwyrm is entropy, death, recycling. What Gaia's strongest soldiers believe is very simple. There was a turtle, a spider and a worm. The turtle makes stuff, the spider spins it into buildings, and the worm eats it up so the turtle can make more stuff. The spider got a little too attached to his webs, and tried to string up the worm so its things would last. The worm went stir crazy, and is now eating everything. The Lupines naturally dont want to be eaten, so theyre doing their best to stop this.If you want to curry sympathy from the furries, best thing you can do is pull your stocks out of pentex. Best not to ask why, unless youre a broken mirror it will probably be too much.
>>96991818I don't quite subscribe to the lupine view of things, myself. There certainly are forces that they appeal to and fight, those forces objectively and measurably exist; drawing a rigid grid as part of a ritual helps if you wish to try and ward off the wolves or their wriggly enemy, all while a spiral is a sure way to ward specifically the wolves off, or draw their ire, depending. Symbols tend to have power, words tend to have power, and there certainly are some sort of masses of energy, power and meaning that roughly align with that they say is there, at least three primary ones and a myriad lesser ones. But I think the wolves (and other were-shifters) just lucked into a somewhat accurate assessment of what forces do exist on a level they are attuned to understanding, and they excessively personalize it all out of sheer, unrelenting, prehistoric, tribalistic animalism. Same as tribalistic Kine tend to have a spirit for every stone and every gust of wind and every branch, figuring that there's a person of sorts to appease at every moment, when you walk in the woods. It could be that the wolves just mistake cause and effect, origin and consequence.Perhaps they figure that:>We ('we' as in werewolves in these two guesses) are in war against the wriggling Thing.>It enjoys and manifests in a Ventrue oil executive exclusively drinking hippie women.>And thus when we kill this Ventrue, we strike a minor blow against the Thing. While in reality it's maybe closer to:>We are fighting a very concrete Ventrue, who does concrete things.>Him doing so contributes to a broad mass of actions that affect the ethereal and the spiritual, and build up power in the otherworld, leading to an imbalance in favor of that specific form of power.>Sufficient buildup means greater manifestation of that power, which means further yet buildup. >Therefore we slay the Ventrue, as to cut off his negative influence and retract the downward spiral of imbalance.
>>96991895Oh motherfucker, again with the name dropping off. That's a pattern of minor technical issues whenever I focus on this subject too much. Comedic shit. I'll double down, I think.Elaborating on it, you are not wrong to view the theoretical wight-sabbatites-with-brains as something counterintuitive to the Thing's own designs. And that's because there's no real singular Thing. Wolves seem to think it's a multiheaded presence of sorts, but I don't like that, either. If I had to guess, there's a roiling ecosystem of sorts, of what can be vaguely described as 'Thingness'. Some of that is just Kindred, some of it is Kindred who turn into Wights, some if it is Sabbat, some of it is wolves who turn into those psychotic, spiral-enjoying, rape-and-plunder obsessed beasts, some of it is just Kine drilling for oil everywhere. Brand it any given way, those, by wolf estimate, contribute to the Thingness ecosystem, so they hate all of those and fight all of those. My practices contribute to the Thingness, because I've inherited my Sire's foul relations with wolves, but I'd guess you yourself contribute to It a little, just because your work borders a tiny bit on Thingness. Just as there are aspects of the other two, most probably mainly the Rigid Structure's, ecosystems in what we both do, because everything leans a given way. >What does a helpless thinblood getting drawn and quartered by lupines have to do with getting back at, let alone stopping, those that reign over the world?Theoretically? That thinblood is a little walking node of the Thing's ecosystem; one tiny part of a huge whole. But practically, the wolves are opportunistic and don't have the means, numbers or wits, all while being human enough to still want to feel like they're doing something. So, ripping Thinbloods apart, or raiding warehouses works. It's something. It's a dumb something, but it's something. We're all probably better off for them being unable to do anything bigger and higher-concept.

>>96994126Ah... That. Now this is a curse I'm familiar with. This curse lasts three nights - you're already experiencing the plague of mists. On the next night you will be visited by a plague of locusts, and on the third night will be haunted by a maddening, ethereal song. After the third night, you will be visited by one of Horus's undying minions who will demand the return of the slab. Simply give the slab to this mummy and the curse shall be lifted. Should you refuse - for whatever reason - you will become trapped in the slab as a hieroglyph. If the next victim of the curse successfully returns the slab, you will be freed (possibly).
>>96994126Be prepared for bad music if you do not return it.>>96991818they aren't rational, from the talks with Scholar I've learned that the gift Gaia gave to the wolves was rage, sheer rage. A number of Shifter breeds are extinct because of the wolves though they likely don't remember such atrocities. Having spoken to an elder shifter, I've learned some of the mythology and beliefs of the wolves. not much mind you but enough to understand the psychology. They are hardwired to feel rage towards any wyrm taint, vampires as a byproduct of being undead emit a scent that is similar to wyrm taint and thus triggers the murder-instincts of the wolves thus leading to the hatred and aggression typically displayed by the wolves. The only shifters I have regular[once a year counts as regular for this specific topic]] contact with are the Coyotes, which I've learned are the teachers of the shifters and thus where I've acquired most information I know though I'm willing to bet Scholar knows far more than me on the subject of shifters and their history and beliefs.>>96992712Do not fret, Cara Mia, you are strong enough to have lasted without it, you will survive this. -Kakophoni
>>96992712Despite all the terrible things that happened to me last time I went to college, namely being Embraced and that run in with some Baali, I really do miss academia. I almost want to guess Egyptology but I feel that would be too on the nose (or tongue).>>96995589Not to disparage your associates, but Coyotes are traditionally considered Trickster animals, much like foxes. Not sure how much that carries over, but I have read that they (Shifters) have been in the Americas for a very long time, and that could have influenced the Native American belief. Or maybe it was the other way around, Magic was a lot looser back then I've read.I've also a question for the thread, in case anyone wants to answer. How do you dress? I personally wear casual business type wear these days, sweaters and slacks and the like. Used to dress punk but that was "too sloppy" for the Chantry and I haven't kicked the habit of dressing nicely yet. I can also imagine for the elders, their styles have changed quite a bit since their youths.
>>96995809I know the trickster archetype of the Coyotes, in more modern nights they are as such, but supposedly they were originally teachers though I don't know if they retain that. As for dress, anything really. I gravitate towards darker colors and practical clothing, I wasn't of the highest station in life so some of that carried over. >>96995859I've been told that I dress like I work in a lighthouse, if that gives you an idea. I love bulky traditional knit sweaters and haven't worn anything but boots in almost fifteen years. I do like Dark Academia, it's just a little too prep for my delicate punk sensibilities.

For clan rituals and observances I wear only a shendyt and some jewelry, as is traditional. Beyond these I own a few nice dresses for formal occasions, a couple of bedlah, and a few reproductions of dresses I wore in the 18th and 19th centuries.

>>96995809>How do you dress?Hahaha! Would you like to know what's in Cruella's arsenal?I've fallen hopelessly in love with furs ever since I hugged my grandmother's 3/4 length brown mink. Every fur has its story, and properly cared for, it can last for a lifetime. From least to most expensive, my most frequently worn coats are mink - especially Mahogany - arctic wolf, foxes - especially silver and black - chinchillas, Russian sable, lynx, ermine. None are dyed save for my lovely crimson chinchilla, and a rainbow fox for Pride nights with the girls down in the Southern Hemisphere.I also love raccoon and muskrat but they don't look as glamorous, I wear them when I need to be appear "less affluent."My most expensive coats are enough to make me look like an empress, but for really formal occasions I will unleash the beasts, to name a few: king cheetah, "black" tiger (darkest blue, white stripes), ghost (white, grey rosettes) jaguar, Maltese (blue) tiger. Out of those I mentioned, only the king cheetah isn't dyed, just a rare colour, and a beloved vintage piece. Tiger and jaguar pelts came from animals born and died in captivity, and had their skeletons and other tissues donated to universities, courtesy of my clients' influences. They were dyed to look like cryptids, a kind of Masquerade to keep the kine guessing, so when they ask me: "Is that real?", I'll answer: "Oh, please! Have you ever seen a tiger with dark fur and white stripes? Do I look like the kind of person that would put one over my shoulders?"I just hope one day people can grow furs as tissues in laboratories. But that's just the outerwear, we've only scratched - or rather, caressed - the surface.Underneath I wear a variety of thin, flattering tailor-made dresses with saturated, attention-grabbing colours that either contrast the coat, like grape purple for the king cheetah and gold for the crimson chinchilla, or that complement it, like midnight blue for the black tiger.
>>96995809>>96998057Jewellery is usually abundant, I wear them as sets, the metal is either gold or platinum, with a single type and colour of gemstone everywhere, and contrasting the dress, less often matching it. VERY occassionally one of my patrons will actually beat the ghoul-o-gator in single combat and I’ll both owe him free drinks for a week AND have a 12 foot steroided alligator to process.Well well well. I do, in fact, appreciate leather a lot, though not just as clothing, I have many more uses for it. A flogger made of really tough crocodilian skin with matching thighboots is something I've had on my wishlist for quite a while. In the event the scales turn out to be too rigid, they could still work as the cover for the handle of a stockwhip, and if they're too large, belts and handbags.Yes, with so many things we can do with an oversized alligator, I think I could have you meet someone to evaluate your goods. Ask them to see the picture of their employer (they won't show it, this is just a formality), then ask them to undress their upper body, you will find the password written on their back. They will take a few photos - just the wares, not you or the place - and within 20 minutes you should know if the purchase is happening. Then you will be free to discuss your payment options and seal the deal.If your raw materials satisfy me and my loyal troops, you could become a new node in my business network.
>>96998057>>96998060>>96998074Quite the write-up. I won't lie that I chuckled at the idea of having a fur coat you wear to look "less affluent" but I feel that's a difference in station talking. To me, less affluent would be clothes from my old homeless punk days.Fashion in the modern day is definitely different, lot of focus on combining ready to wear or off the shelf clothes into something more unique and personal.
*a rift through time and space appears on Schreck.net*Hey you adorable leeches! It’s ya boi Shark! So it has been 15 months since my last post. We’re in 1920. I digested the Brujah quite nicely. For a while there was only me and Ansel. He wants to partake in the forbidden juice too, so he’s studying how to hide the marks of diablerie. He came up with a new (old for you) necromantic ritual that I baptized “Veil the Beast”. It consists of using the soul of the departed to cover your own, and hid it from Auspex. We… hum… used a wraith to try and cover my soul, but unfortunately the auspex I acquired through diablerie isn’t high enough to see auras. So we kinda wasted a ghost because we promised to release him. Though we did managed to get the Jewish mafia off our backs, and gaslighting them into believing that my killings of their men were the act of the communists. We got joined by the American Malk and Constantine the bumbling Brujah while interacting with the mafia, and disposing of the wraith’s fetter.Constantine is apparently haunted by the ghost of one of his old friends. One that doesn’t die when it is killed. Also it’s not any regular Casper the friendly ghost. It’s a Specter. It turned into a monster out of a Tzimisce’s wet dreams and became corporal. So I ate it. I can cross eating a ghost out of my list lol.Thing is the Malk used his Tommy gun inside Ansel’s manor. Which brought four cops into the house. Then the Malk panicked, thinking that the group couldn’t sweet talk their way out of the problem and called my name. So when one of the cops went outside I killed them. And ate their head and left the body on a swing at the local park.So now the cops are on the hunt for me again.Good news, Ansel is hosting a dinner party soon! And guess who is invited to do a speech? Here’s a hint: He’s well famous for his moustache and his opinion on Jews!

The ST just dropped a fuckhuge plot twist on me and Ansel's player after the game ended. If he's not BS us, or doesn't change his mind... among the supernatural that'll join the nazi, there will be kindred and garous of course. The sect of the Gets known as the Swords of Heimdall... but wait there's more...Leading the charge there'll be an enlightened abomination. A vampire werewolf. A kindred White Howler, and if it wasn't enough, he's also the child of Cappadocius. The ST implied that Shark, with his unending hunger and his Path of the Beast belief, is the closest that the Garou would ever consider as a son and vice versa. Shark might, in the future, make a pact with a bane and get Black Spiral Dancer gifts. Possibly becoming an avatar of the Wyrm.

I have a question for everyone: what is, or was, your experience and relationship with your sire, and how did it affect your relationship with your childer, or the childer you want to have in the future?Mine was an appreciator of comedy and had this sense of humour I couldn't seem to agree with, for someone who embraced me pretty much on a whim, he taught me a lot, sure, but there were too many lessons I needed and I had to learn them all by trial and error, if not from other kindred. In hindsight, I feel he did what he was doing because he didn't want to be seen as a bad sire by our clanmates, rather than doing what is best for me - and I think I'd be dead if I didn't already knew some things before my embrace, like how to protect myself from a select few types of men, keep secrets, and uphold an easier version of the Masquerade, because in those days, a police raid in a dungeon meant the place and everything in it were going to be confiscated.I spoil my childer and train them thoroughly because I decided I should be the kind of sire - and parent - I wish I had. I wanted them to love me and make me proud.>>97007747The easiest? I won't just turn heads, I will see them fall off!
>>97008418 At that point why not a nagaraja?
I'm looking for anyone interesting in helping study a werewolf caern? I can't promise you won't be torn apart, but the reward will be worth it. Mostly need Auspexers & Thaumaturges
>>97009142Because I wanted to be a grotesque monster creeping in the shadows with the ability to turn into a shark… eventually.>>97009168I’d offer my help, but I’m currently stuck in 1920 Germany. I’ll leave you notes if I find one.
>>97009099I have no childer of my own, not sure I want any.As for Scholar.....I'd rather not discuss it here. As for the pelts, it might be a while depending on if I can convince him to assist. -Kakophoni
>>97009284 have you heard of the Moroi from VtR? they are basically a hybrid of Nosferatu and Gangrel. Their creation myth is that a nosferatu and a gangrel found a baby that'd been embraced and both diablerized it and got cursed because God was disgusted by the act.
>>96896786I could also use some advice. I'm pretty new as well, just a few months since. My sire hasn't ditched me like this guys, but she has been really coy about some things. Doesn't answer certain questions, and just acts like they're amusing. Anyway, ever since the embrace some weird things have been happening to me. I don't know if it matters but I used to go to supposedly haunted locations before all of this. Is it possible that, like, a ghost attached to me when I was alive and the embrace, I dunno..triggered me to see them?Because I keep seeing this guy around all the time, but no one else seems to note him. And it's starting to freak me out a bit. And my sire just thinks it's funny when I mention it. Is there some way to make him go away? He talks sometimes, too, and it gets distracting.I apologize if asking this stuff is kind of abnormal. Been feeling like anyone I mention it to just rolls their eyes at me.
>>97009450What's his name? What does he say? Do you know your clan?
>>97009284I'd love to know how you are projecting your messages into the future.
>>97009653Calls himself "Harold." He likes to point out things I don't usually notice. Says he's helping out. Kind of nice guy, but really distracting all the time. Hell, I probably missed something because of this distraction. As for clan, a few people have referred to me as a "malk." Heard someone mention malkavian before. My sire, again, has been a bit tight lipped because this is apparently funny.
>>97009720I figured as much. You are Malkavian, a "Broken Mirror" Harold is a part of you, an extra sensory manifestation that filters your extra sensory perceptions now that you've awakened your blood. Basically you're now insane. But don't despair, it's a controlled kind of crazy. If you had access to your extra sensory powers without Harold there to act as an "interface" or a buffer, you'd be truly lost, knowing too much & not being able to process it. Watch "Harvey the Rabbit" to give you some idea, though know thatHarold has no substance no matter what you think.
>>97009802Are you sure? I used to involve myself a lot with spirit things. And I'm kind of preferring the idea of being haunted rather than the alternative. If it's true then am I just stuck with this now?
Heyyy, I would like to ask a thing of you all (lurkers included) before I go back there : Next time you want to do something dumb that could breach the carnaval, please think about the cleaners !You want to burn a building ? Cool ! Do that, but use a godamn normal color, not fucking GREEN !We had to open physique-chimie books to know how to spin that I found a second hand flipper touh, that saves the night
>>97009663>>97009450I ate a ghost recently. Not gonna put it down for good but it was fun
Shot in the dark but if anyone in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (or keeps tabs on the area), does anyone know anything about local hunters? Because over the past month there's been a group with about three digits raising hell with molotovs and machine guns. Both out here in the woods and over in Marquette. I think. Also does anyone have intel on the werewolves around here? I think I'm surrounded by a three way war. I been living out in the sticks for a decade now and I'm starting to think it ain't viable anymore. Didn't even have problems with the big lads on account of feeding them a few Shovelheads that came to dust me, but now it might not be tenable.Any place for someone with some whak 'Dental?' Like. Should wear a face mask stuff?
>>97009099My relationship with her was complicated. She saved me from being killed after I found out about us as a mortal, Embraced me, and I think she did a good job teaching me what any good Kindred should know. She, much like me, was obsessed with Thaumaturgy and we might spend days or weeks practically locked in her study doing research and experiments. The main source of conflict between us was that I cling to my Humanity and still hold a lot of my mortal morals and she didn't. She went too far pretty often, and that's what got her destroyed. She also punished any perceived failings of mine, such as my way of dress and speaking/typing with beatings, starvation, or on one occasion, chaining me to a chair while a few of her ghouls came towards me with torches. That last one might have just been training used as a punishment actually. Long story short, I cared for her, respected her mind and what she could teach me, and now she's gone. C'est la vie.>>97009168I can send you some stuff I know that might help, but I'm tied down to my town now.>>97010000There is always the chance you're actually one of the Necromancer Clans. And I asked. He said that 'wasn't a thing.'
>>97009099Me and my Sire got on fantastically well, because I typically refused to die and he refused to stop testing my affinity for persisting. The imbecile, overall, made a point of selecting Childer from among the most obsessively-overworking types, like ballet dancers, in my case. Picking people off of a hard-worked-upon path of effort and achievement, just to make sure his students would be attentive and studious enough. Then he threw us at problems like hunters, werewolves and so on, undertaking a sink-or-swim approach as if we weren't specifically each a prized possession that took remarkable effort to procure and hone into capable and autonomous Kindred. Then he went and got himself eaten by werewolves, leaving me the inheritor of his estate, studies, agents, and above all the foul history with shifters. The one thing I do appreciate about his methods and practices is that he managed to die in a way that left me mostly free of the Pyramid. Quite a parting gift, if wholly unintended. You be the judge if all that makes for a good Sire, overall, or a bad one. >>97011269>What iiis that ? Google isn't helpingA place of power for werewolves. Don't go near them.>>97009168Any deadlines for when you plan to head out and study it? I'm busy trying to handle a caern and its claimants currently, that'll take a month, probably. If - or, realistically, when - diplomacy with the wolves fails, I'll have a free enough schedule and enough reason to keep sticking my nose where I should not.>>96992344If, on the off chance, you're an actual werewolf, tell your asshole siblings in the Rockies to stop trying to kill me. Maybe suggest that they should actually come out to talk when I call upon them. I'm so fucking tired of their shit, man, I get that they're upset about the lost caern, but trying to turn me into a fine layer of viscera coating the ground evidently just isn't going to work. They'll even get the pelts and pieces I got if they just behave for five minutes.
>>97011917No deadlines exactly. A small force of werewolves. Designated "Red Talon Tribe" has discovered one & have admitted to lacking the resources to properly hold it on top of the one they already have. So im dedicating two units of my Blood Moon project to claiming it & using it for spiritual research. I need some people who can help with that while my other assets run interference with the Lupines
>>97012386You looking for help? I'm just a neonate, but I'm quite adept with auspex

>>96995809>How do you dress?Shirt, coat, shawl, jeans, undies, sneakers. Servants bring me new ones when the original gets too dirty and torn up. I also keep a clean and expensive suit when I need to make myself be presentable.
>>96995809Mostly same as I did in life, really. Slightly gothy, somewhat-stuffy, lots of dress shirts, purple and, would you guess it, lavender colors as a mainstay. Corsets, often, to maintain the habit and because I got embraced in one, I won't get a normal waist without paying a Tzimisce for it, and I don't trust any for that sort of job, might as well just turn that into a point of style. It's honestly half fashion choice, half trying to attract freaky alt women who like this sort of men. Works better than you'd imagine.>>97012906I have tried the following:>communication rituals>leaving messages in form of plain writing>leaving messages in form of stones spelling out things>leaving messages on the trees>sending messages into the Otherworld>having a Nossie tell animals to relay messages>kidnapping a mining company CEO and tossing him out in the woods not far from a different, active cairn, with 'LET'S TALK' written on his suit>the same, with a logging company CEO, same text but written also on a piece of laminated paper>leaving the head of a spiral-obsessed psycho werewolf my coterie ran into, with a 'MORE WHERE THIS CAME FROM IF YOU WANT THAT' attached to the head>leaving an all-organic fruit basket (the basket itself was hand-made and very pretty)>sparing a young werewolf sent after me and my coterie>sparing a young werewolf sent after me and my coterie, with a silver collar put on her neck, with 'NEGOTIATE?' carved into itAnd some other things. None of it works. All of this just makes them angry. I'm starting to suspect that, at this point, being sent after me and my coterie is some sort of makeshift trial or a punishment for the more inept and aggressive ones, who either prove themselves in combat against us, and thus are considered worthwhile, or die trying, and thus are written off with no great sadness to it since being both dumb and weak (by wolf standards) is a death sentence and a liability, anyways.
>>97013139You know I'm sure the silver collar is a little bit offensive but have you tried maybe not sending these during the middle of the night while everyone's asleep? Maybe you should have tried speaking with the one werewolf sent after you but I don't know, some of these guys aren't exactly coherent and I don't know any by the Rockies. All I know if if I were collared in silver I'd probably be mad too
>>97012386>I need some people who can help with that while my other assets run interference with the LupinesFuck's sake, Stripesy. This better not be around the Bay Area.

>>97013311No its way back in the old country. Where Tremere gor their start. We used to hold the caerns there as magical nodes. Some of out old magic still relies on it. Some a Red Talon Winter Sept or some thing or another are holed up there. I just need them gone for a while so we can get in there do some magic. The lupines actually do a good job of keeping out the fiends & other threats & theyre too stupid to know that there are rituals tied to it. So we've let them camp there for a century or so. There's nothing else around but empty woods.>>97013577Who are you? If youd like the job I can pay, but if you're Sabbat I won't work with you, if you have a third eye I'll take you to my chantry myself. I need some lupines stirred up I enough to leave an old cave in Europe for maybe an hour or two. Minimal violence & no fucking feeding on them. Im trying to kick the nest, not fumigate it.
>>97009099While I am grateful to have been brought into the divine lineage of Set, I hate my sire - a man named Arshan al-Rashid - with every fibre of my being. I would, in fact, say that he is my (im)mortal enemy.Al-Rashid thinks only about satisfying his own base desires and furthering his own glory, rather than the greater cause of the clan. Ever since that night in Egypt where he defied his orders and Embraced me, al-Rashid has been obsessed with keeping me as his play thing; the first few years of my unlife were spent as little more than a prisoner and object to slake his lusts upon. Fortunately, the temple decided that I would undergo a more traditional education rather training as a warrior like my sire and took me away from al-Rashid. Ever since I have done my level best to keep as much distance between us as I can manage. As for future childer, I intend to impress upon Tommy the greater responsibilities as a Follower of Set. I'll not have him turn into another al-Rashid, or some petty slinger of vice or an Osiris who takes from his followers and gives nothing in return.
>>97015191Nah, I'm not with the Sabbat. Have bad experiences with one of the fiends' flesh monsters trying to kill me, in fact. Gangrel, have experience in going in the wilds, prefer them over cities, actually
>>97013139I may not know much about werewolves, aren't they supposed to turn back into humans eventually? Perhaps the next time you capture one of them alive, you could try keeping them around until they exhaust themselves and then try talking to them?
>>97015739So are you willing to help me herd some wolves? I dont know how well I can trust a Kindred named calling himself bloodsoaked. If youre a gangrel can you hold yourself in check? What Disciplines do you know? Are you of a decent generation?I know its a lot of questions, but please understand I need discretion & I am cautious to let a young lick run around a bunch of lupines unsupervised if I they seem unreliable if even one lupine gets killed youll conpromisebthe mission.
>>97013139You don't really communicate with the Lups like that Levi. If you even want to talk to them you just sort of have to exist in the same space like you're acclimitizing with an environment. And some of them will never communicate with you. Unless you got a few decades to live like me it don't work so good for most folks. And judging from you already going in on catching people you're slapping cock in the metaphorical wasp nest.
>>97015704Bleus, mon cheri, if you want arshan dealt with. You need only ask, I wouldn't mind and I'm sure Chelys wouldn't either.... -Kakophoni
>>97013139I find it advantageous to use a ritual that makes me incoporeal so I don't get ripped to pieces
>>97016438>>97016198Perhaps try to not stay near an old or defunct Caern, they seem to take it very personally
>>97015191As an only morbidly interested third party, what the hell are you going to pay anyone to play Freeze Tag* with a Cave full of Werewolves? *And by Freeze I mean disemboweled.
>>97016935Well. Money motivates the neonates, because they dont really have much in the way of resources without a few decades to accumulate. Boons motivate the Ancilla, who deal in influence. For some s. For others a discipline. And I've rarely seen a Kindred pass up the offer of a Burning Blade of Mars
>>97016174It's an old nickname I got from old friends, long story. As for my disciplines, I know all those of my clan, but I'm most advanced with protean (necessary when you prefer living in the woods like me). Also picked up the basics of auspex from a Toreador friend I haven't seen in a while. And don't worry about me starting unecessary fights, learned to control myself the hard way
>>97017023Don't take the job for anything less than the sick firey sword spell.

>>97017023Fair enough, if you can make it within the night go to the location I just sent to you. Thats our staging area, everyone involved in the wrangling will be there.>>97017726I thank you, who would your friend be? What details are you willing to give?
>>97018354older gentleman, has a way with lupines. What specifics does the job entail? -Kakophoni
>>97012386Not for me I'm afraid. I'm willing to get my hands dirty when shit comes my way, but I prefer not to seek it out. Wishing you luck however.>>97013139>Guy who wears corsets>Looking for womenDamn.>>97015131It's definitely something that'll get the Vitae pumping. First time she did that shit to me, I tore multiple ligaments in my neck from how much I was struggling trying to get away. Not fun.>>97015191Europe too, that would've been a no even if I was interested. I don't really want to mail myself overseas.
>>97013191>just talk lmaoI have tried that! The conversation went like this.>Hey, Garou! I'd like to talk with your people about the caern and our war! Peacefully!>*angry, vicious snarling and growling, along with scrambling for a rock to try and use it to hit me off of the cliff I was on.*Exciting chat, riveting, even. Very enlightening. I tried talking with every werewolf sent after us, and they literally never respond with anything but snarling or, at best, insults and declarations that they will be the one to avenge the fall of their ancestors and of the caern my Sire took over.>silver collar's offensive thoughI've actually tried a non-silver collar before upgrading to silver, that one just got torn apart while the werewolf fled. Since my goal by then was less 'convince a young, dumb werewolf to maybe talk' and more 'relay the message to the seniors of that young, dumb werewolf', I've figured a collar that'd actually need several Garou's worth of effort and ingenuity to get off would maybe work. It did not. I've not bothered carving messages into the body or anything, that'd just obviously be interpreted as an insult.>do it during the dayThey're smart enough to always keep watch of their grounds, so I'm confident that the nightly messages were received at least sometimes. They're just not accepted.>>97014848Absurd violence is our usual go-to answer to werewolf aggression, sadly it just makes them go after us in retaliation. So we're kind of stuck. I had hoped that, eventually, they'd tire of it, but not yet.>>97015131You're making it sound like I should just embrace their poor conversationalist nature, and escalate in violence until a wolf breaks, bows their head in submission, and actually starts to fucking listen. I'd ask if you're willing to take an extra fee to help me domesticate a werewolf or something, but realistically speaking, BDSM would probably only make them angrier. Even if the mental image's not unpleasant.
>>97015958Not an awful idea conceptually, but there's a lot of esoteric, strange powers out there. Keeping a wolf in captivity for a prolonged period of time seems like inviting curses, or some sort of rescue attempt, as was the case with a hunter group I had kept an eye on; they got slaughtered by a group of were-crocodiles their captive wolf brought about, somehow. Not sure how, but it happened, and I am not rushing to have giant crocodile men beat me to second death.Just a dead wolf invokes vengeance, which is bad enough. A living one feels more problematic. But I guess if my current plan, negotiations through audacity, falls through, this would be worth risking.>>97016198I've got time. My Sire spent a while fighting the wolves to maintain his grip on the caern, I can spend a while trying to find the way to bury the hatchet and get them to fuck off already. >And judging from you already going in on catching people you're slapping cock in the metaphorical wasp nest. It's intentional, at this point, as evidenced by my Plan Freak Them The Fuck Out. My hypothesis is that the more aware the wolves are as a collective of our particular situation, the more likely is it that somebody not inept on their side steps in. Or, at least, I get to fire lightning at a werewolf high enough in standing that their scorching would bring a period of peace. Or they just kill me. Hopefully not.>>97018683Not exclusively women. Women who are into my kind of look are just a far bigger demographic than gay men into the same. Bigger pool to choose from, all in all, plus a girly gothy guy flirting with gothy girls is less notable than its gay equivalent, especially in more backward parts. Still attention-grabbing, but far less so, these days, especially if I dress more simply. I guess I could also trick straight men, if I try harder with makeup, fishnets, and some rituals just to make sure, but I'm not that desperate.
>>97019128>Absurd violence is our usual go-to answer to werewolf aggressionMine too. Don't worry the last handful of exchanges was just to lead bloody hands on a goose chase. Hes a Lupine who somehow breached Schreck.net. We aought talk to the nossies on how THAT happened. Operation Blood Moon went off without a hitch, the Red Talons in the Caern were eliminated by "Tribe" Tremere's newest forces. A few dozen confirmed Lupines slain, & a good number of their wolf born family. It was harder to count them since they exploded so badly. At least twice as many wolves in the minimum based on the severed heads. Now we have a new established base to start expanding into the Lupines territory. We've already warded it tighter that Ceoris.
>>97019609Hey, sorry I couldn't make in time. The elysium I'm using for computer access got attacked by hunters right before I left. The crazy religious types always pick the worst time to cause trouble. Not a lot of losses on our side, but one of the fanatics escaped and we couldn't pursue him because sunrise was close. Glad that the operation went... well...
>>97019169I'm curious, how you and your friends got hold of a lupine caern in first place?
>>97019740Secret of the Pyramid unfortunately. We've been branching out. And we've determined that the Lupine faction known as the Red Talons will be the easiest to remove & replace. We've got the new caern in Appalachia, & we've had little meaningful resistance, we will be claiming some places in Europe & Russia soon.if we can get one more in North America we will have more than enough for our purposes
>>97019813Meant the question for Lavander, unless you meant they can't tell me eitherQuestion, wasn't the caern you were targeting in Europe or did I misread?
>>97019825No that was misinformation. I couldn't have Operation Blood Moon compromised.
>>97019904I see I see. Well, I'm sad I missed it, bet I could have made it fun
>>97010583Update, they're speaking slavic. Bulgarian I think.>>97019169>I've got time. My Sire spent a while fighting the wolves to maintain his grip on the caern, I can spend a while trying to find the way to bury the hatchet and get them to fuck off already.Brother you might as well be gambling with a pyramid made of glass. Even if you 'win' it's only a matter of time before something else starts looking to take that off your hands.
>>97020018You can come to the next one if youd like.
>>97019740My Sire was a Tremere of respectable standing from Europe. Sometime during early American colonial history, he was vague on details as a point of fucking with me, he moved to the New World in search of unclaimed valuables, especially places of power. One such place he prized was a caern in the Rockies, again, unsure if he took it by force or simply found it abandoned. It was just one of many interesting places he's investigated over the years, though no doubt a jewel of his crown. He's looked into other caerns, but most proved inhospitable, distant, treacherous, cursed, inhabited, or otherwise problematic, like the moving one I mentioned a while back, with a mountain for a guard. This one was ideal. He met his end at hands (paws?) of a warband of shifters, primarily wolves, loosely controlled by one of his old enemies. I'm not sure if it was full-on mind control or just careful manipulation and an alliance of convenience. Most of the warband, along with both my Sire and his enemy, perished in the fight, but I'm confident at least two young werewolves got away. Me and some other assets of my Sire, obviously, survived. With my Sire dead, through drawing straws (I got the shortest, of course) I inherited the caern. Well, through straws and seniority, only those who could actually make something of it got to pull straws. I'd like to think I put it to good use thus far, though maintenance of my property has become a chore.>>97019825I'm not of the Pyramid, fortunately.>>97020056Thus far me and mine have done fine against visiting packs of incompetents and the rare, strangely alone lupine. And I would, again, to highlight my position, welcome a reasonable group of them taking the caern off of my hands - on amicable terms. If somebody else feels like taking it, and the blood-feud associated with it, I am open to offers. Just keep in mind that I'm well-aware that, odds are, the feud will follow me, so I will part with this advantage at an appropriate cost.
>>97020894Ill buy it. What is your price?
One of Scholar's other childer seems to have taken a liking to me, whether that is good or bad is for time to tell. -Kakophoni
I should clarify, by childer I mean one of his actual childer, not an experiment or adopted.. -Kakophoni
>>97019128>violence until a wolf breaks, bows their head in submission, and actually starts to fucking listen"I killed your alpha, what are you gonna do about it?" might be your best chance. The cowardly ones will not try to avenge the guy, don't let them flee and talk >I'd ask if you're willing to take an extra fee to help me domesticate a werewolf or something, but realistically speaking, BDSM would probably only make them angrier. Even if the mental image's not unpleasant.I agree with your assessment, and would like to remind you BDSM is play. If they're not consenting, it's torture.A few messages ago I mentioned my first encounter with a werewolf was before my embrace. I never knew he was a lupine until long after he died.I had just moved to the US, we were having our first session, until I spotted a car approaching my place, then I heard people climbing the stairs really fast.I immediately got him out of his restrains and had him escape through the window. Shortly after, I heard "dogs barking" and gunfire on one side, and hard knocking on the door on the other. It was terrifying: either they were cops and my little dungeon would be history, or they were gangsters who wanted to eliminate a witness, as in: me.What happened was a Toreador and a Brujah and two others were meant to approach the werewolf from the front, the actual hunter was on the back, and they came to interrogate me.So I stood there, defiant, think I was going to die (rightly so, in hindsight), explaining to the Rose and tall bloke dressed as policemen what my "relationship" was with the man, what is a professional dominatrix, what is petplay.Bloody hell! The one single specimen of werewolf in the entire US of A that was into petplay had to be my client! Many interruptions late, the Toreador saw me dangle the collar in front of him, and he laughed, laughed, laughed so hard he was transfixed, then dragged out of the room by his embarrassed buddy. And that's how I became a vampire!
