Cavalry death stars can be a lot of fun, they're at least cooler than just bringing another dragon. Also, don't forget your chaos gifts! Giving your BSB (or any other character in the death star, really) the diabolic splendour gift and the icon of darkness can impose a -2 to hit penalty on any unit shooting at your chosen knights and the enchanting aura is always helpful, though it's admittedly not as good on knights as it would be on warriors. Don't get too bogged down in what's good or not. If you think it'd be fun on the table, give it a try! >>96931908The blasted standard actually sounds like a really good idea on chosen knights. They have a 3+/6++, so getting to re-roll half of all your failed armour saves (1s and 2s, assuming AP0) is nice.
