Can you get 4 wildcards from the Brawl bans or do they only give you 1?
>>96955187They banned chrome mox and mana drain in brawl those fucking faggots man
>>96955187>>96955231WTFWHY TEH FUCK DID THEY BAN THOSE CARDS IN BRAWL???????????ARE THEY RETARDED
>>96954943
i will have to tweak like 20 brawl decks now with these bans ffs
>>96954943>>96955403so you don't get none fyi
Is this the worst B&R ever?
>>96955187>that many standard bans>hurr durr why is standard dying?
>>96955517June was worse, but this is a close second
>>>/wsg/6025413
it really is true. /tg/ can't play magic.
>>96955631we de best
can someone explain to me what difference he makes to the non "alchemy" version? because i swear it's the same card
>>96956082>creatures you control haveThat means Nadu has a static ability which gives each creature the triggered ability, so it can trigger twice per creature. A-Nadu has the triggered ability himself, meaning it can only trigger twice per turn.
>>96956119ooooh i get it, that's why i can't go infinite with some combos i checked lmao, didn't even notice that part
>Your go.>Your go.>Your go.
alright then
>>96957203that's what I'm playing now instead of heartfire hero
Hey, lil piggies, I hope you've been buying some gemmies or I'll have to put you on the draw again
>>96956823>faggot with a pussy, nigger-tier deck concedes after getting roped for 30 minutes when things take a turn for the worsehope he enjoyed my emote showcase while I had full control spammed on every single phase of each turn
Okay, I keep hearing that I need to play draft to get wildcards but I dont have any gems. Do you have to pay? I see you can use gold but even the lowest entry fee is like 5 days of straight grinding.
>>96959280Draft is in theory the best way to get a big collection, but it's also pretty hard to get to that level. Good drafters will be able to fund their runs with the winnings from previous runs. If you're a shitter then just stick to buying packs. Once you've gotten more used to the game, you can start considering quick draft (cheapest option, 5k gold) but only for a new set. Older sets will be filled with far more experienced players. Playing quick draft will let you practice, but you shouldn't expect great initial returns. Read up, check out guides. Assuming you're not completely ass at it you should be able to get a least a couple decent runs each month, since you'll be at the bottom of bronze.
>>96959343I've built a deck but I'm basically stuck waiting several days for one rare wildcard at this point and its making me want to quit.
screaming nemesis ban is one of the most braindead things i've ever seenthen again, i don't play paper magic, and on paper, it might actually be overpowered. in MTGA where everything is rigged by a computer, it's very clearly not a problematic card at all. all it does on MTGA is give you a tiny shred of hope against the overtuned lifegain decksbut yeah, those lifegain deck draws on MTGA are hyper rigged, and your ability to actually use screaming nemesis effectively is also negatively rigged by the algorithm, so... yeah, i guess in paper magic it could all make sense
I tried to get into arena before and just got annoyed by how hard it was to get cards compared to playing IRL. Deleted the app ten minutes after installing it. But I love avatar, and if I could build a good ATLA deck I would totally go for it. How much money would I have to drop on gambling to get a solid deck going?
>>969596313400 ($20 USD) gems spent on drafting ATLA in bronze will get you everything you need before the games become any type of difficult.plus on a FRESH fresh account you'll get plenty of starting cash, wildcards, and a draft token
>>96959678Awesome, thanks
>>96959434That's the f2p struggle in these types of games. If you want a big collection, you either pay up or you git gud. You should stick with starter deck queue for a while, it's actually a pretty nice experience that ensures things aren't too unbalanced.
>>96959461Mill and burn are still substantially more powerful than lifegain. Most builds dont even run removal outside PbG.
>>96959461yeah bro because screaming nemesis without the anti-lifegain is a good and balanced card
>>96960181Shut the fuck up abusing white nigger
my condolences to the goofball who used Masterpiece Vault to draft Sword of Light and Shadow and slap it right on top of his Pact Weapon voltron while at -8. Truly incredible.
>>96960273i do not have a single white staple craftedi do not play cringe colors
This surprisingly went 7-2 despite the bad mana.beat turn 1 land -> crypt -> coalition relic -> mox opal (I played ajani t2)
LMAOOOOOOOO
ok we actually got no wildcards as a compensation for the brawl bans, disgusting company
>>96960881>the FF and the Avatar cards on MTG:A are literally just proxy cards from other shit with fanart or screenshots stapled to themLazy fucking cheapskates.
I want to get into tri+ colored decks, but my autism can barely handle picking 2 colors without filling the whole deck with white. How important is balancing your various colors? Autism demands I try to even out my color choices, but balancing that decision against low vs high mana costs is making my smooth brain shrivel.
Why do I see so many people playing "my whole collection" decks with 200+ cards?
>>96962663what format?in brawl that's normal
>>96953217kek
look at how much work now waits for me with these brawl bans
>>96960881I don't even get how FF or TLA get such sale numbers from whales. The art is dogshit, low-quality 3D for FF, pixelated trash for ATLA, I'd rather have the worst art of Legends in my collection that this trash, and it'd be a lot cheaper.
instacraft
>>96963627tranny game
>>96963655That's because the set isn't out yet, they just upload upcoming cards to prevent slow updates on the release day.

i'm just trying to play normal standard mtg and this faggot has omniscience out on turn 3 for some reasonuhhh, cool game. fucking faggots
>>96960881Bottom chick is t-posing ToT
>>96963142I just replaced chrome mox with exploration
>>96960881These promos of existing cards are meant to really appeal to show fans, so they're using art from the media packet Nick gives them (which they presumably also gave to the other game). My main criticism is that one of them is on a black board wipe, while a similar art is on a new black board wipe - it's hard to tell them apart despite being different cards.
>>96959461>shuffler schizo is a rdw tardImagine my shock
>You should expect to see more changes to Historic as we reexamine the format philosophy and banned list in the coming months. What you expected: Lurrus banned, Val nerfed, Eldrazi Temple banned and Mycospawn nerfed. What you're going to get: Spreading Seas is unbanned because people kept making fun of the Arena devs.

>>96965258>of course you will draw 50 lands in a 20 land deck in the first 30 draws somehow>of course you will draw 0 lands in a 59 land deck in 40 drawsgetting mana kiked or mana niggered is a staple of niggards of the coasts in online because sweaty, revolting whales spending thousands on a free game get favorable draws from the shitskin pajeets selecting each draw and deck order in their games
>red deck pays 2 mana to deal 3 damage and 3 mana to swing with a 3/3 haste>this is le heckin bad>green deck ramps out a turn 3 play that buffs their entire board and lets them swing for 10-20+ damage at once>this isn't red, so it's... le heckin goodwhy do mtg players unironically think like this?
>>96965753not to be rude but are you a literal retard
>>96965818answer the question faggot. you don't get to change the subject
The current starter decks are so fucking dry. I used to play it just to get some low power Magic feel but these are like the kinds of decks they'd give you in Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012.
>>96968732the dimir one is fun

I came back and played one single game of mtga just for the hell of ithad to download gigabytes even though I'm probably going to uninstall this bloated shit12.4 gb and I've only got 17.3 free, this is getting the axe, so I played one game just to see how it still isthis game took over 16 minutesmy opponent had lost by turn 5 and roped on every single turnmoused over every cardeventually got to the point I locked him out and all he did was sit there with a hand of cards, get his full rope, then passyep, mtga same as everworse than playing magic vs botsworse than goldfishing vs yourselfOne game, now I'm done again
>>96964717Welcome to standard, whereGreen get T3 Omniscience/Ghalta (90% of chances of instant win)Blue-Black gets T4 board wipe + reanimate their entire graveyardGreen-Red-Black got a T3 21-damage combo from an empty boardBlue-white don't even bother running a wincon, they'll just mill half your library when they boardwipe you.
>>96969726100% chance of instant win if the omni deck is built properly since they should either have a way to win on the spot or a tourney build where they put 2 counterspells in hand and 3 marangs on the table
>>96969738There are fringe situations where despite dropping the omniscience, they lack the draw to use it. It's still a matter of time before they do, and in the meantime, the non-draw card are probably counterspells & stun, so the game is still over, but not instantly.
>>96969678You will not be missed

Kinnan is actually maximum degeneracy you can play, idk how many concedes i already had on turn 3
>>96972130lmao again against Ruskonigger now
>>96953160what format has the best mill deck?
>>96972130>>96972150idk if just the kinda decks i play but i've never understood why Kinnan is so reviled
>>96972347because you can get turn 3 stuff out that finishes the game most of the time, now with solring coming you'll have plenty of infinite combos
>>96972347>>96972530also he's blue, which is annoying to play against generally
>>96972530>>96972536huh i guess cus i play blue primarily, or izzet or dimir, i never really struggle with him or the dorks. i find kinnan players just scoop if you pop a couple dorks or insta scoop when you counter or kill him. i know that's true of many commanders but really kinnan is easy to deal with imo, much more obnoxious commanders. maybe i've just played against bad kinnan decks though who don't play interaction
>>96972150veil of summer is sublime
Have you ever reached mythic?
>>96973959yes
What do I even spend my gems on? I have 13k+ after a couple of months of playing quick draft and the occasional premier with coins. I get the season pass but it seems the ROI on premier drafts isn't that good when you pay with gems inb4 get gud
>>96974273At that point, you play more quick drafts to git gud until your ROI on premier is worthwhile. Maybe go to trad after that, if you want even higher risk/reward.
>5 colour deck in kamigawa draft that plays on a perfect curve and has the o kagachi saga and has the red AND black mythic dragonevery single time i play draft in this game i get 1 step closer to becoming a conspiracy theorist
