Bless. Might have to do something silly with the Commander option and import Royal Magical Library from Duel Monsters Shadow Realm just to see if the librarian there decides to new wings for books with the spells they learned. Honestly don't play Edric as Commander much for U/G these days because I'm doing other nonsense like phyrexian Ezuri - or Kaseto purely because "Snakes on a Plane" turned out to be an oddly viable combat strategy by the time I started putting that deck together. But Edric does still speak to the part of me that plays games to have fun since he encourages a bit of backstabbing between other players for the sake of draw power.
>>
>>96965603
tying a potential chain-fail condition to a location section seems a bit much. That's basically the same as saying "pay this 100cp tax or else you risk chain failure before the jump even starts".
>>
>>96965603
There's lands and items that suggest studying them can allow you to summon them but, so far as I can see, there is nothing that actually provides any sort of skill or knowledge of summoning, or indeed magic in general, that I can discern aside from perhaps Dack Fayden's Gauntlet but that requires you to find magical stuff / people first to use its ability on.
>>
>>96964849
A fair bit, in most spell systems he makes edgy chants for his spells, that was even his drawback-mandated weirdness in Campione.

A couple questions...
>Do you enter as human, or can you choose another humanoid creature type featured in the set like elf/goblin so long as it's roughly on par?
>Do companions who get stuff from the jumpdoc get the stipend(s) for general perks and/or items, or are those points jumper-only?

>>96966219
I just didn't want people to get too comfortable on cowboy junction. If you have legs or some other method of locomotion it's basically a non-issue.

>>96966278
It's just an inherent type of magic in the setting. Summoning a grizzly bear is no different from casting a lightning bolt. Lands are something you form a connection with and can draw mana from regardless of distance.

>>96966437
>Do you enter as human, or can you choose another humanoid creature type featured in the set
I forgot to mention races in the beginning (oops) but you can enter as anything humanoid on the plane. Fiora especially doesn't give any of the humanoid races any particular advantages over the others, just colour preferences and factions.
>Do companions who get stuff from the jumpdoc get the stipend(s) for general perks and/or items
Yup, that's included. I guess it's worth mentioning since I'm generous with stipends and it's not obvious.
>>
>>96966833
>It's just an inherent type of magic in the setting. Summoning a grizzly bear is no different from casting a lightning bolt.
Sure, but as far as I see there's nothing in the jump to suggest you have any skill in it. Are you suggesting that it's so ubiquitous that everyone can do it? If so you may want to make that more clear.
>>
>>96966957
>there's nothing in the jump to suggest you have any skill in it
You're paying CP for it so I thought that was implied.
>>
>>96966987
But you aren't though? My entire point is that so far as I can see there is nothing in the jump that actually gives you any skill at magic, summoning or otherwise. There's items that give you access to lands or that one book that teaches about monsters well enough you could use the knowledge as templates for summoning but nowhere, so far as I can see, actually offers the skill and ability to actually put that stuff to use. To make a comparison just because I can purchase a house doesn't mean I know architecture. This is why I brought up my observation in the first place because it seems strange to me that there's options to get stuff which can be used with magic but no options to actually be trained or skilled in magic.
>>
>>96966833
>I just didn't want people to get too comfortable on cowboy junction. If you have legs or some other method of locomotion it's basically a non-issue.
…why? What does this even add to the experience? No other jump I know of forces one arbitrary location to be a chainfail zone for no reason.

[MAGIC THE GATHERING: FIORA CONSPIRACY: TAKE THE CROWN]

Drawback: Curse of Verbosity, Lowborn, Grenzo’s Rebellion (1400)

Rolled Drakeston

Noble (1200)

Hidden Agenda (+200, 1200)
The Monarch (Free)
Protector of the Crown (1100)
Privileged Position (900)
King Eternal (600)
Basic LandsX2 (400)
Throne of the High City (+200, 0)
Recruiter of the GuardX8 (Free)
Syr Joan Benson (+200, 100)
Aragwen, Duchess of Santuo (0)
Conspiracy: Power Play (Free)

The king was dead. Long un-live the king. As conspiracies went this one wasn’t that hard to unravel. Quincies (there were always disenfranchised dissidents willing to sell their souls for a fancy letter and a vaguely Germanic uniform) draped in the colors of the other factions jumped the ghost king and vanquished him in a flash of white light foreign to this plane while simultaneously play-fighting with each other. As my rivals turned on each other in paranoia, my closest rival sensed which way the wind was blowing and cut a backroom deal with me to bring them in line in exchange for maintaining her position. The world moved on, but with me atop it’s throne.

Leaving me free to deal with actually important things.

“Thunder Junction has become ontologically hazardous to me” I told Avacyn.

“Do you want me to destroy it?” she asked.

“Nothing so crude. This is merely my bane, not the multiverse’s. Just take this” I said, handing her the seed of a principle-realm, “and shove it in the most mana-rich epicentre of it. Thunder Junction will cease to become a threat to me when it ceases to BE Thunder Junction in any recognisable conceptual framework and instead becomes an extension of my spirit”

“I don’t understand, lord”

“Don’t worry about it. Imperial Miracle go brrr”

>What falls under "resources" for The Black Rose?
Anything they owned or that fell under the ownership of whatever they were ruler of.
>Does King Eternal function as a 1-up?
It's more of a buff to your rulership abilities. Anything you're ruler of, you're ruler of forever (barring the listed exceptions).

>Treasure Tokes
>Spy Kit
>Regenerating at what rate?
Wank it.

>Imperial Seal
>Drained and vulnerable in what manner and to what extent?
Going by the card it's based on, normally a pittance but can be more if you request increasingly more unlikely things from it.
>Is that a permanent debuff, or can it be worked off/fades away naturally?
I guess I never mentioned it's only temporary, so that's on me. It's just fatigue and/or life loss that can be recovered through most conventional methods (rest, health potions, etc.)

>Daretti's Workshop
>access to jis remaining resources
>Such as? What scale are we dealing with here? Precious metals? Magical materials? Just junk?
No idea. Source material doesn't give much to work with.
>Do the "resources" replenish at all?
My bad again. I always assume resources that get used up replenish by default.
Really though, it's the notes and tools that are the real value here.

Hey guys what do you think about my 9th Month:

It's Jenny’s birthday! She's turning 17!
After celebrating Brad, Sheldon and Tuck discover Krator, an ancient norse warrior being unfrozen by a fandom cult that believes he is an icon of positive masculinity capable of moving at light speeds because he covered his eyes from photons and punch 9 million universes because he cut down a tree
Sheldon tells Jenny they have no media literacy because Krator used to massacre entire pantheons
Krator is horrified that people turned his trauma into “a franchise of feelings.”
He doesn’t remember any “wholesome” acts; the Baldur vs Freya myth was exaggerated to market him as a “redeemed hero.”
Excel ignores it but then, there is Jenny x Krator fanart
Jenny opens her feed; then screams.
“WHY AM I IN A FANFIC CALLED THE WHOLESOME GOD OF WARFARE?!”
“They drew you with Krator.”
Stirner-Sama flickers in:
“Ah, the internet; where possession is now participation.”
Excel, fuming, mutters:
“They turned her face into a brand for post-heroic forgiveness porn!”
Jenny: “It’s not even accurate! He’s, like, 40 and angry!”
The cult hosts a convention: “KRATORCON” where they showcase a lot of Jenny x Krator fanart and its sponsored by Headstrong’s PR Agency, who seeded the cult to begin with to bait out Excel from his hiding
Headstrong’s algorithm predicts Excel will crash the convention; cameras are ready.
When Excel appears, drones broadcast:
“See? The nanite menace attacks our wholesome movement!”
The fans begin screaming “KINGtor!!! make him a BETTER MEN! WE MUST BE BETTER MEN!!!”
Excel decides to let Krator beat him up because he realized he is being baited but it turns out his Frosty Axe is actually powerful enough to freeze his XJennanites and destroy them
Jenny’s friends think Excel is dead but then an XJennanite spawns from her hair
“I always keep a spare”

A MtG jump without a single perk that actually lets you use magic. Wild stuff.

'Double Agenda' and 'Scheming Symmetry' overlap.
'Conspiracy' feels underpriced for instantly knowing when there's a scheme in play and what it is in a setting that revolves entirely around scheming.
If 'Dealer of Death' is a network of criminals, it's an item. If it's finding and hiring criminals, it's a perk. If it's both, it's messy.
'Draft Matters' feels overpriced for what is basic people/organizational skills.

Generally there are so many scheming perks that many read as redundant or overly specific at the same time.

The other big problem I have is that the jump offers zero ways to not getting stabbed regardless of background. No noticing assassins for knights, no luck or skills to avoid attempts on your life as a noble.

You've also got items and conspiracies that boost your combat and magic power, but there's no magic or combat skills to buy so there's nothing to boost. You can't even be an assassin yourself. You really need some non-scheming-related general perks.
>>
>>96972796
"Bitcoin adoption grows" is not happening and unnecessary. It's also not improving or getting scarcer.
The price is growing because the price is growing. It's entirely speculation at this point
>>
>>96965603
I’ll second the other guys request for some kind of class thing. Knight could maybe use a second 100 cp perk for combat skills, maybe same for peasant and being an assassin. Races might also be nice.

…would you be offended if I tried to do a set of color based perks you can add to this?
>>
>>96973487
>…would you be offended if I tried to do a set of color based perks you can add to this?
Not at all. At this point it's obvious I leaned too much into the Conspiracy part and not enough into the Magic part. I've made a few MTG jumps already so I guess I took the actual magic and combat portions for granted.
I drew most of my inspiration from searching art:fiora on scryfall and Fiora as a setting just doesn't have much in the way of spells, though the Conspiracy/Take the Crown sets definitely had magic in spades (it was just reprints).
>>
>>96973528
I’ll try to throw something at you in a day or two then.

If it helps, just think of it as reinventing the wheel - there really are only so many ways to just throw lightning bolts at people, so while you will get twenty versions of the spell, you’ll also see those twenty versions repeated across a few dozen planes. Mana is fundamental, so the basics remain the same across all planes.
>>
>>96973528
Actually, quick question - is this take the crown only, or should I look into base conspiracy stuff for ideas as well?
>>
>>96973658
Timeline of the jump is a mix of Conspiracy as well as Take the Crown, and some hints of MOM and OTJ in there too. I didn't give a specific date for when the jump takes place since that would complicate things.

So both Conspiracy and Take the Crown would work, basically.
>>
>>96973696
Cool, that gives me a few more options to work with.

In that case, is Brago decent or just as much a dick as the rest of the plane? His wiki entry paints him as a conquering hero who stamped out corruption wherever he found it and rules fairly, but the exact way its phrased makes me question all of that.

Or was he just “fuck it I don’t trust you, I’ll do it all myself”?
>>
>>96973265
bitcoin has objectively become more useful over time as people have slowly started to accept it in exchange for more goods and service. desu if anything the prices going up so rapidly has actually hurt bitcoin, since people are less willing to use it to buy stuff since they worry they'll miss out on the price shooting up again.

Crypto is not that great for jumpchain though, since you'd lose a good chunk of the total coin supply each jump.
>>
>>96965603
We don't put costs on backgrounds anymore.
>>
>>96974006
>is Brago decent or just as much a dick as the rest of the plane?
He strongly embodies white mana, including its best and worst aspects. Peace, law, order, hierarchy, and a functioning society. However, this is achieved through tyranny and oppression of the individual. Ruling with an iron fist, but if you're inclined to obey the rules then it's not so bad.
>>
>>96974368
Well that explains why he’s WU I suppose.

Thanks.
>>
>>96974006
Brago was fair, fought against corruption and enforced his laws equally, but he was also a totalitarian dictator who brutally stomped out any possible resistance, real or imagined, even if it actively fucked the kingdom over, like when after banishing Muzzio for having a stockpile of robot soldiers he went and outlawed robots as a concept just to be sure.
>>
>>96974726
He was also not actually all that good at rooting out corruption, as Marchesa trivially bribed some of his priests to look the other way while Kaya stabbed him to (re)death.

I won't until it happens properly. MC is definitely not an Aeon in any way that matters even if they really are somehow Akivili, and the pink girl squad and Fuli is a weird situation that I would say has more to do with the Aeon itself being fucking weird than any specific character ascending into being Fuli.
>>
>>96977885
>MC is definitely not an Aeon in any way that matters even if they really are somehow Akivili
You are absolutely gonna eat those words. It's only patch 3.x and powerlevels have already scaled to universal destruction. The last arc, whenever it happens, is gonna be a full on Aeon war, and the MC being Aklivi has been foreshadowed for years now. As for Fuli, there are many Elyais expies that could eventually become Fuli, but due to Shaoji's hard-on for Cyrene/Elysia I expect that she'll escape imprisonment in the scepter in a year and then decides to become Fuli as a final powerup in the fight against Nanook.

>>
>>96977877
There’s too much still unknown about Aeonic ascension and the exact nature of the Aeons THEMSELVES to include it as option right now. Wait until the story includes a successful ascension or at least more detailed lore on the subject.
>>
>>96978045
It would be fun though maybe kind of take away a lot of the appeal of the setting since all the powers are supposed to be gained by aligning your mindset with some kind of primordial law. If you can just buy the Flame outright without needing any of the doomerism or egotist solipsism that's supposed to power it what even is the point.
>>
>>96978087
I mean, you can say this about a lot of jumps.
>>
Going through Mesopotamian Mythology again has made me realize that we really need a Greek Mythology jump from the gods' perspective. I wanna fuck around (literally and figuratively) on the primordial earth.
>>
>>96977019
Wasn't the point of this expansion to inject magic into the magic jump that didn't actually give you magic? None of this is magical either
>>
>>96977877
The MC quite likely isn't Akivili (in fact, Nous seems to very specifically separate the Trailblazer from whoever "You" happens to be when it eventually asks "Why do YOU Trailblaze" implying it's talking to somebody else st that moment) and both March and Cyrene are specified as being capable of ascending to Fuli rather than ascending as specific Aeons who'd take Fuli's place - which implies ascension might literally just involve mangling an already present Aeon. And in Fuli's case, its entire existence is a paradox where Fuli cannot ascend until the Imaginary Tree meets its end but it is still influencing things in the present (the distant past from its perspective) because everything is just a memory or recording of what has already happened from its viewpoint. I would not use it as your case for Aeonic ascension, even ignoring that all existence has to die first for it to even be possible.
>>
>>96978200
This is apex level trolling. It's inceptions level trolling. Here is a magic jump with no magic. Wait you aren't happy with that? Here is a supplement so you can have magic (Spoiler: There is no magic here either). I think this guy just won Jumpchain.
>>
>>96969788
It's actually an issue with the setting. Since EVERYTHING is magic in it, nothing is. Like, Duskmourn has like 1 free perk to vaguely grant you the ability to use mana, it's hard to make a perk that encompasses what magic actually is insetting
>>
>>96978200
Not for me? I saw a guy complaining about not being able to be an assassin, and decided to mock up some class based perks for the jump - which, admittedly, I completely failed at because I then focused on Brago and making a white origin.

if you want though, Valorous can come with a handful of self buffing spells, such as Moment of Heroism, Raise the Alarm, or Valor Made Real.

Most other explicit spells I'd been saving for the Cleric origin.

Toppo-sama, who anally raped me and first awakened my wish to become an analslut sissy.

Kale-sama, who beat the shit out of me so hard I started being attracted to femdom almost as much as I am attracted to men.

Jiren-sama, whose incomparabily forceful punches crushed my ass-womb entirely to the point I cannot bear CHADku-sama's children anymore like I wished to.

Broly-sama, whose hour-long beatings gave me uncontrollable orgasms so massive even the anal rape from CHADku-sama can't compare.

Turles-sama, for he rammed his pole and humped me behind his mystical tree.

Moro-sama, whose power I am scared of (I am glad he didn't kill my beloved masters, as I was too scared to help them…)

Granolah-sama, who didn't revenge-rape and mindbreak me from the sheer pleasure of being made into an onahole (I was so sad about it)

BEASThor-sama, for he will fuck ME up once he finds out I revolted against my daddies (God I hope so…)

Wrong Time (+200):

There are a number of reasons to pick this jump, first it offers immortality which is important for a number of reasons and while the powers I pick up are good they do require and encourage intelligent use. Second is that it forces me to get out and do things, a lack of internet in the 1960s means my only means of entertainment will be to engage with the world; with no history in the world I'll need to put those new abilities to good use in establishing a good position. Especially given I'm in a place consistently at war with the world superpower.

Lastly giant robots are fucking cool, even if my custom model will only arrive after leaving due to the drawback that sticks me in the 60s.

My expectations are for it to go decently-ish, I have some decent plans in mind but no plan survives first contact with an isekai situation. I could easily end up getting embroiled in large scale war and power politics due to fucking around.

It's possible that my most recent build was actually recent enough to send me there instead, but unless I'm forgetting one that should be largely the same just with more drawbacks and a few more advantages to go with them. So just a more 'exciting' version of the same thing, though given one of my ideas for a first skill from Chess Master is 'Organized Crime' that may not be too huge of a difference.
>>
>>96982864
Last build I posted was a meme barbarian build for Reign of Winter. So it is going to be a cold and lonely decade.
>>
>>96982679
I remember when a two liter soda at Walmart was a dollar.
>>
>>96982864
>>96982976
The basic plan is to first use Chess Master to get a good starting skill with which to build a good position. Without documents or a history in the world a good skill would be Organized Crime. So that I could sink my teeth into such a group and use them to establish myself in Paris, possibly going to jolly old England to see what it's like given the British actually lost it a long time ago in this world.

Potential problems I expect would be to run into other organized Code Bearers, who might think that someone with both a Code and a Geass somehow would be a good 'research subject'. That or ending up with concrete shoes because I fucked around with the mob and they realized an obvious solution to an immortal nuisance.

Supplement Mode [+0]

The Master PC as a supplement is mostly just risk management, I don't actually plan to use it much beyond empowering myself. The main idea with Harem Collector is to lay the foundations for insane wealth through the Bank Account. 1% per day may not sound like much but over the course of a standard 10 year it adds up to roughly 6 quadrillion times the initial investment. The other significant thing is the slave collars, with which I can make anyone I fancy a follower.

As for what I'm actually doing, more or less the same and same kind of things that happen in the game, just at a leisurely pace.

Slivers.
>tl;dr
Creatures with a hivemind and the ability to rapidly evolve eachother.
ie one sliver with wings can force all slivers in its hive to immediately evolve wings. one sliver with scythe claws can force all slivers in its hive to immediately evolve scythe claws. one sliver with an anti-magic field can force all slivers in its hive to immediately evolve anti-magic fields.

The more you summon, the better they get.

When doing a build for a first jump what sort of abilities do you prefer?

Do you go straight for the big power so you can duke it out with the main characters or villains?
Do you try and build a firm foundation of skills and abilities to help you later in the chain?
Or do you just grab an eclectic mix of whatever looks interesting to you and try and figure out how it all fits together and works later?
>>
>>96987642

Ideally something to help with memory and cognition because the earlier you get something like that the better. Beyond that something for survivability, either in the form of durability, regeneration or maybe just one of those "you won't die randomly" perks. Basically just a good foundation to build on further. That said I always go with the bodymod being a thing available from the word go rather than only after the 1st jump so if we were to assume bodymod only happens after the 1st jump is done then I'd also look for something that could get me, preferably keep me, physically fit and healthy. The original pokemon jump honestly has good options for all of that but I've never actually used it because Pokemon doesn't really interest me as a setting.
>>
>>96982864
Hmm. Last build I posted was a bunker chainbutt for taking 1:39 world and then being dropped into the Enterprise deck in Star Trek. It is going to get weird fast, because I didn't read the setting before making a build. Just saw it walked about. And I decided that all sapient races have the gender ratio.
So I suspect the Federation is going to have a fun time trying to both protect me from their own women and all the sexy space babes that want my dick.
>>96987642
I like a foundation to build on. I like flight, magic and memory perks. But would take flight just to feel free. Memory would be second and magic or something similar would be third. But to fly and be able to turn invisible would be great for exploring.

I prefer WHATEVER abilities and attributes make me the perfected nemesis of Gohan. I would GLADLY pass over big power for torture techniques, curses, and DODGING if it’s better and more energy efficient at making Gohan miserable rather than give him a quick death. I do NOT want a firm foundation of skills and abilities if it means passing over the chance to torment Gohan NOW. My priorities exist ONLY in OPPOSITION to Gohan.

- The Hives are like insectoid space necromancers feeding on death. They can also give part of the power gained by murder to their superiors like a massive pyramid scheme.

- The Eliksni are 4-armed bugs, usually acting as space pirates and very good with tech

- Ahamkara are wish dragons. Giant hero devouring monkey paws. Although they can grant wishes exactly as desired by the wisher, they feed on the difference between the result of the wish and the desired outcome of the wish. An Ahamkara granting their own wish will die.

Actually are we sure about to? To clarify I'm not trying to defend Gohan here. However it occurs to me that King Piccolo was the evil part of the Nameless Namekian, and his main goal was to make everything worse for the sole purpose of making everything worse. While Piccolo is both his son and reincarnation. So if Piccolo secretly (or possibly just subconciously) retained the goals of his father and past self encouraging Gohan's Gohanness would be a valid method for making things worse for the sole purpose of making things worse.

The devs have outright said that Hornet can throw her nail 30 yards/meters, which wouldn't make sense if they were the size of actual bugs. Fire and water physics would not work the way they do if they were scaled to RL bug sizes. Both the prequel comic with Quirrel and Silksong show there are NON-SENTIENT tiny bugs up to even literal microscopic ones in Silksong. The sheer size of the Citadel would not work if it were somehow just the size of like, an ant mound or something.

People need to stop parroting their retarded headcanons just because the anthro characters look a certain way. Do you assume all bipedal foxes in fiction smell like shit too? What if lacking a firm foundation causes you to job, preventing you from torturing Gohan and allowing him to escape, because like Gohan you neglected to train and prepare for the road ahead? In fact, this whole post sounds rather Gohanesque of you. Instead of spending your time growing stronger so you can be the hero the world needs you to be, you impulsively pursue your personal passions. For Gohan, it was being an entomologist. You, on the other hand, could not suppress your bloodlust for Gohan long enough to acquire abilities that would make you a more effective torturer of Gohan.

Man this took so much longer than I wanted for something admittedly so minor but I'm glad I got it done. Have a bit of writing.

"Rise and shine!" Ritsuka calls nudging a meditating venti.
"Stop working on your dreamland. Minerva has a surprise for you!"
"Oh yeah? What is it?" He asks not opening his eyes. His sister huffs crossing her arms.
"Well I can't just tell you can I? That'd spoil it!" She grins as a idea comes to mind and grabs the cross-legged bard by the hips. Lifting him up.
"Come on up you go!" The body cultivator exclaims carrying him effortlessly out the opening of their tent and through the camp. The Tribeswomen they pass barely give them a passing glance. Used to her antics by now.

"Ritsuka..." Venti sighs opening his eyes. "Put me down."
"Nope! Should of gotten up now you're getting carried." She grins sticking out her tongue. Dashing through the camp, headed for the eastern gate.

Its only a handful of moments before their standing before the Khan and a horse. Minerva raises an eyebrow as Ritsuka sets the bard down.
"Do I want to know?" She asks only to get a shake from venti's head.
"No its not important. " He brushes his pants off of dust before looking up at her and the spirit beasts next to her. "So... what's up? Ritsuka mentioned a "Surprise"? "

"Well, you've been among us for about two years now. It's about time you learn how to ride a proper horse. Not those tiny ponies' mortals use out west." She says patting the massive, brown horse by her side on the neck.
"Consider it a new bit of training. Since you're so keen on learning our ways. So! This is Temujin. He's going to be your mount for today."

The horse lets out a whiney dipping its head, as venti looks at it. The creature was easily twice his size
"Temujin...that's his name?" He repeats looking back the khan.

"Yes, thats what I said." Minerva confirms stone faced, but venti could swear he could see just a hint of a smirk on that Gerudo's lips as she looks down on him.

1/4
>>
>>96992232
"...Alright." Venti nods after a moment. He looks to the horse hoping it'll be nicer than its namesake.
"So... how do I even ride such a creature? I don't think my legs are long enough to guide it and there's no saddle."

This was apparently humorous to Minerva. Who started chuckling and shaking her head.
"No saddle" he says. You don't ride a horse with a saddle! Not if you want its respect anyway."
"Then how do you?" The bard asks, trying not to sound to ignorant. "How do you guide it? Theres no reins"
"Well come on let me show you. Best you learn by doing" The khan grins, grabbing venti by the arms and hauling him onto the horse.

"It's surprising how only a few minutes can change your situation."
Venti wonders. In only a few of precious minutes his day had changed wildy. One minute you're on the ground, minding your own business. And the next your on a horse. Holding onto its hide for dear life as it speeds across the plains. Going faster than any car he'd ever been in. In his distant past life.

The bard groans. Glad he decided to skip breakfast today. Wind whipping wildly around him. They were going so fast every small bump, jolted him. He wondered where his current steed was going. If Minerva had something in mind or if it was just... running free. Goddesses he must have been provinces away by now.

>>
>>96992232
He squints trying to look ahead, through the wind blowing against them. And his eyes widen at what he sees. They horse was rapidly approaching a river, a huge one at least that seemed to stretch on for half a mile.
"Hey!"
The cultivator yells trying to get his steeds attention. Grabbing tighter "There's a river up ahead! Slow down. Or turn or... something.

Still though the horse charged on though despite his warnings. The rushing waters drawing closer and closer. Venti starts to consider just how many shielding spells he'd have to cast to avoid serious harm if he jumped off the horse mid gallop, when Temujin beat him to the punch.
The horse leapt into the air. bringing steed and rider high into the sky far above the rushing waters that passed below.
He grabs tighter onto the giant of a horse and venti can't help but look down.

"Wow" The cultivator whispers, his terror momentarily forgotten by the sight below him.
It seemed as if they were flying with how high and far Temujin had jumped. Hell Venti, himself never really dared fly this high from concern of his own spell or Glider failing so far up.
The world below seemed just a endless canvas of grass broken up by the occasional stroke of blue that must of been rivers below. It reminded him of some kind of landscape painting. A mortal could spend a lifetime walking it all. The prairies and fields, the occasional mountain range that dotted the region. It just went to show you just how huge the empire was, and that such a huge place is only a fraction really of what the empire had to offer. And that itself was only a small portion of the greater world.
3/4
>>
>>96992232
It was both humbling and inspiring in a way to witness such magnitude to the bard. It was a miracle in itself such a world could exist let alone what inhabited it. He begins to wonder how big it was when a great shock rocks through him. The horse landing upon the earth once more.
"Dins breath!" The bard curses rattled. Holding on even tighter. The horse wasting no time in its charge eastward. He wondered just how far they were going run to...

Turns out it was about two hours Temujin could run before finally Venti could slide off his steed, his legs feeling like jelly with how they shook.
The beast gave a snort. looking back at its rider. As if to ask, "Are you good?" Sadly, he'd yet to learn how to speak horse yet. So he couldn't really say for sure though. Venti settles for reaching up to pat Temujin's neck. "Yeah I'm fine..." The bard chuckles shaking his head. Slowly regaining feeling in his legs. "You really are fast aren't you? Damm... Good job honestly. Kind of terrifying but... you did great."
The horse gives a whiney that sounded proud to him and nudges his hand. Shrugging forward. At the massive walled city, the steed had finally paused its gallop at. It's shadow stopping just shy of both of them.

"Well...that's a little imposing." Venti whispers to the horse. "Don't suppose you'd know where we are? And don't say its "Neigh" pretty sure that city's somewhere on the coast." The bard jokes chuckling to himself a tad nervously. Looking up at the city gates.
"Well.. what do you say about checking out the place before we head back? Think I need a minute before I get back on you."

His steed just snorts. Which the bard decides to interpret as a "Sure". Given it started moving forward towards the gate following Venti's direction.
"Great" he nods. As they walked towards the city. "Lets go see what this place has for us."

It really does. Had the word doc for this open in the background for a while just trying to add onto it when the inspiration struck.

Indeed. Minerva also totally named him that herself.

>>Can I offer you a Venti in these trying times?
Well the Khan can appreciate a good Venti.

>Depending on how strong the horse is, you may be approaching fighter jet speeds.
That'd be a good ballpark yeah. Fast enough that a normal mortal wouldn't be able to ride it. And even venti had some trouble despite being a cultivator was my thinking.

>Or you could use a flight spell.
True. I like to think that didn't occur to him in the moment though.

Very possible. Alternatively, maybe he hopped in the air to do that. Or just pat the horses side a bit.

Glitches aside, TotK has a guy discover cheese, which allows you to make a primitive pizza. And ice cream is just milk, sugar, and salt plus some form of flavoring. And ice/cold, of course. So while it kind of depends on which version of Hyrule, I would totally believe that ice cream existed in some form in at least one or two games.

>Glitches aside, TotK has a guy discover cheese, which allows you to make a primitive pizza.
>Records of pizza-like foods can be found throughout ancient history. In the 6th century BC, the Persian soldiers of the Achaemenid Empire during the rule of Darius the Great baked flatbreads with cheese and dates on top of their battle shields and the ancient Greeks supplemented their bread with oils, herbs, and cheese. An early reference to a pizza-like food occurs in the Aeneid, when Celaeno, queen of the Harpies, foretells that the Trojans would not find peace until they are forced by hunger to eat their tables (Book III). In Book VII, Aeneas and his men are served a meal that includes round cakes (such as pita bread) topped with cooked vegetables. When they eat the bread, they realize that these are the "tables" prophesied by Celaeno. In 2023, archeologists discovered a fresco in Pompeii appearing to depict a pizza-like dish among other foodstuffs and staples on a silver platter. Italy's culture minister said it "may be a distant ancestor of the modern dish".

Yeah, aside from it being just actual training. Both minerva and Temujin were kind of messing with the bard just a little bit. All in good fun of course.

>a Fictogrammaton can be used to reshape entire sectors or regions, increase the influence of positive energies, or be directed towards more destructive and combative ends against Viralborgia and the Necrium

It's made up of a bunch of interconnected pieces of individual art, random lore blurbs that are attached to said art, an entire series of "Fauna" cards called Fauna Hypnagogica, the webcomic that you found, another earlier comic called Frances The Dreamer: The Entropurgator, another unreleased Frances project called Reisebilder, ANOTHER teased project which was meant to be a bestiary of the demons/Necrium entities in the setting from what he said, the Udraiken Primer module, several supplements like the one I just mentioned above, and now he's been gradually switching to a PDF format much like the supplements simply because the scoep of the story has gotten too vast for the webcomic alone to encompass.

After some more research, it's a good thing I included the "nigh" part. The goddess is supposedly """omnipotent""" but as far as I can tell, also fails at literally everything she does. Still kind of reeling from the hurricane, but making do. Gonna work on a TH update before getting back to Care Bears and the Ocean Game.
>>
>>96999673
Glad to hear you ok. What you thinking now that we finally seeing who Guitane's boss was in 7th Prince?
>>
>>96999260
Anyway you can't get remotely close to Alovenus simply by manadraining, that's just accumulating power, she creates power, even if you brought your level to an arbitrarily high number she could simply decide her own was double yours.
>>
>>96999756
No, that's literally what happens in the story. The MC absorbs all the mana in the universe, ascends to the god realm where only willpower matters, and then beats her.
>>
>>96999778
The MC reaches Alovenus, but she's hopelessly outmatched, what allows her to reach and surpass Alovenus is Alovenus herself considering her an equal rival, wich buffed Ruphas to Alovenus-tier, and from there Ruphas buffed herself to be even stronger.
Also a mana absorption cheat isn't enough to absorb all the mana in the universe to reach that level, you need to wait for Alovenus to start to destroy the universe.

>What you thinking now that we finally seeing who Guitane's boss was in 7th Prince?
I actually forgot it was supposed to come out of hiatus. Inbetween the storm and everything else. Damn, I've gotta catch up.
>>
>>96999815
We got to ee his ex Boss, before hiatus was called.
>>
>>96999828
Yep, seems the sight I was reading on stopped JUST before that chapter (and it got suspended to boot) and I assumed hiatus was called earlier than it was. I like how Guisarme is apparently motivated to stop this guy for the sake of the other Blighted/Noroware - which seemingly has to do with Jade's memories influencing him. That, and how the entire Dungeon War arc was orchestrated by this one demon lord at the end of the day.
>>
>>96999828
>>96999980
I'm also curious about Mimikewl/Mythic apparently deciding to join the Adventurer's Guild. Not sure how that's gonna go.
>>
Aaand now youtube appears to be advertising AI generated bestialiaty porn apps to me.
>>
>>97000121
Ads are shown to you based on your habits/preferences, so you only have yourself to blame, you degenerate.
>>
>>97000211
Nah, you can turn off targeted ads.
>>
>>96999980
Curious to see how Guisarme shapes up, also how strong a real Demon Lord is. Also, what the heck is up with William Bordeaux, since apparently the dude got upgraded from mere mention to someone that might be important in the plot.
>>
>>97000225
You really think (((they))) would respect a mere toggle button?
>>
>>97000240
Considering the fact that it went from recommending me gacha games and vtuber merch to endlessly pushing the ATLA MTG Box set and bestiality porn immediately after turning it off? Yeah.

... Not like it matters, the bestiality one is actually a sponsered advertisement. So it just goes out to basically everyone

Does your jumper wear their sunglasses inside?

Other than ExVsWoD's Black Vault what jumps offer good ways to cause widespread empowerment events that could shake up an otherwise boring jump?

Gene's Generic Isekai lets you spread around the system.

... There's a perk in Tales of Demons and Gods that lets you write down a single symbol that represents a soul-based power you possess, which lets people learn the power by studying the symbol. There's an item in Big Eyes Small Mouth that lets you summon ofuda that already have whatever symbols you want already written on them

I don't see the problem since I don't engage with either. Like 99% of the thread.

If you just want human/Pokémon fusion, Mewtwo already exists and demonstrates it can be stable and effective. But if you want a reliable, two-way transformation like the term tends to imply, my advice would be to look into Mega evolution and see if you can't synthesize an artificial mega form in the same style as a Magneton or a Dugtrio. Two living beings, one evolution, and only as permanent as you care about.

That is if you can't get away with some Battle Bonding bullshit. I don't really think that counts, the human is pretty much just possessing the Pokémon. There was a manga was the big into it too at one point, though I don't recall its name. That's plan C, probably?

Every time someone talks about releasing the Black Vault, I sometimes wonder if the Abyssal and Infernal Exaltations’ consequences have been fully taken into account. Like even if they’re not technically hardlocking people into moustache-twiddling villainy the very nature of those powers still incentivises the user to profit off death, devastation and dark trio-coded behaviour.
>>
>>97001923
This is a good point, and among the reasons why the Black Vault only really helps anything if the world is already gone to shit, but from the perspective of a jumper who is already an Exalt they're perfectly fine with dealing with the first ten years of an Exalted resurgence.

Especially if they already have a large head start on the new Exalts.
>>
>>97001923
It really doesn't. ExVsWoD works hard to push Exalts as totally unironic superheroes. Abyssals and Infernals have zero reason to ever do anything bad.
>>
Gohan is quite an amazing character who deserves happiness.

When one of the maggot Hell Charms literally incentivises you to sacrifice human lives to grow your hell outpost, or one of the Abyssal Charms is literally creating a 15th generation vampire out of someone they succ to death (potentially higher with the Apocalyptic upgrade), I have to agree to disagree. Yes I believe that is Holden’s intent and yes they are miles better than in mainline Exalted where the Neverborn are literally waiting to jump you/existence through some of the Exaltation powers, but I maintain simply even if they don’t FORCE you to use them the way some of the powers works errs less superheroes and more edgy 90s antiheroes. It’s like handing someone a loaded gun nobody can trace back to you, exposing them to a gang (the “gang” in this case is either the honor parade of spectres taking the Abyssal to see the lands of death briefly, or the Coadjustor who potentially comes with contacts in a hell of Yomi Wan/Malfeas, the objectively better choice to have a social bonus in) and expecting them to be a law-abiding citizen. You can say a lot about ExWoD Solar Charms, but none of them exchange human sacrifice for metaphysical real estate gentrification or desecrate human souls on a level apparently comparable with Cain’s passed down sin itself.

So I've finished Dragon quest 3s remake. Currently doing the post game but given thats mostly grinding for fighting The wish dragon I'm considering it beat. I liked the game overall though. Ending was kinda sad with the main character losing their dad and never being able to go back home to their world again. But it was a pretty enjoyable game. I'll probably try the 1-2 remakes next in a couple months.

How much CP would you expect a drawback that gives you an instantly lethal allergy to oranges to give?
>>
>>97004921
Depends on how common oranges are, I suppose. 200 in a modern earth setting, 300 if you're likely to go up against people clever enough to figure out that weakness.
>>
>>97004995
Guess it's 300 CP then. The jump is a fantasy academy setting that very conveniently still has a modern quality of life (people fairly regularly eat chocolate cakes and such), with very cutthroat murderous student competition.
>>
>>97004995
>if you're likely to go up against people clever enough to figure out that weakness.
Considering it's instantly lethal, by the time anyone has a chance to notice you react badly to them you're already dead.
>>
>>97004921
300 CP. It's a way to instantly kill you past any defenses after all.

Anyone have any ideas what a Herrscher of binding should be capable of in Honkai impact? Decided to roll on Jumpers domain with it and got binding. Weakening and negating energy is cool would be useful as hell in Honkai impact. But I'm wondering if there are any less blatant uses for it potentially. Or if anyone had any thoughts.
>>
>>97005959
Being a stapler.
>>
>>97005959
Google search "bdsm" and you shall have your answer.
>>
>>97006010
>>97006047
I mean its not literally binding sadly. The description says

>11th Herrscher: Binding - The Herrschers that appeared adapted to the civilisation they were
targeting, and this Herrscher was aimed at a civilisation powered by Honkai energy. What they did was simple: they could weaken or even outright negate any kind of energy, even that of Honkai. This was a Herrscher designed to defeat MANTIS and Honkai weaponry.

Which feels like a bit of a inaccurate name honestly. Should of clarified that a bit. Seems a very narrowly focused domain a bit.
>>
>>97006083
Why are you asking us then if you alredy know what you can do with it?
>>
>>97006113
I was more thinking of things along the lines of "Can you guys think of any use for this ability?" beyond just using it to stop people from using electricity or Honkai energy against you. Given one of those isnt really going to be to relevant post Jump.
>>
>>97006124
The canon Herrscher of Binding is basically an "everything dies" field. It doesn't just negate all energy but also all energy within living beings, so any humans stepping into it just die since their nervous system completely shuts down.

Aside from that though the PE Herrscher of Binding was explicitly a lot weaker in combat than all the other Herrschers, and when Otto became the CE Herrscher of Binding it's unclear how much of his power is from that and how much is from his weird deal with the Imaginary Tree and weird conceptual shenanigans later on.

Binding is kinda gimmicky compared to all the other Herrschers. At most I guess you could say you could use the fancy chains that the Oath of Judah can summon?
>>
>>97006141
Huh alright that actually helps a lot. Thanks anon. I didn't think it'd extend to thinks like bioelectricity. I did get the feeling that binding was a bit of a narrow domain. But its what the roll gave me. Even if Im going back and forth whether they should be a herrscher at all or not now.
>>
>>97006172
Yeah like I said, it's kinda gimmicky. Either it stomps everything because it's the only thing that can exist without dying instantly within it's "fuck all energy" field, or it's a chump that doesn't really compare to the other Herrschers. In PE it basically nearly wiped out humanity leaving only like three cities left on the planet before its field was demolished, and then it died pretty much the moment that human forces got to it. It's very all or nothing.

Is HDManon around?
I have a saga of the exiles question, specifically: what is the safer starting period, especially when taking on as many drawbacks as possible?
