You ever wonder how much of a difference, realistically speaking, a single individual can make in a war?
>>

>a single individual
your picture portrays the results of two individuals though
>>
More than you'd think; but less than you'd hope

It only took one guy to shoot hitler
>>
>>97010733
He did it too late to make a difference.
>>
>>97010384
Not when I'm making or playing games, no.
>>
>>97010384
A leader, general or inventor could. Notice though that they all involve working with and guiding others, using teamwork and co-operation, or making use of already existing systems and technology somehow. Sole individuals rarely have much of a difference by themself, a thing that most shit DMs, roleplayers and 4/chan users tend not to understand.

His side won because he led the operation to steal important piece of tech from the enemy (the miniaturized version of beam cannon). He wasn't on his own and then the R&D had to actually crack and implement that tech into their own equipment.
I think that part of Gcucks was actually reasonable. It's not like he solo'd an entire army.

It's more that Amuro doesn't exist. It didn't matter what technological advantage she dreamed up, the actual is that there exists no universe where Char does not die in battle against him.
>>
>>97018505
That's completely unrelated to the point I was making.

Traditional games?
>>
>>97010384
Depends on what system, which is?

I know of many real-world cases where a single individual made all the difference in a battle, and therefore won the war. However, I also know that you're a lazy, incompetent, ignorant, self-centred piece of shit zoomer that wants to be spoonfed, so I'm not going to share any of them.

Otto Skorzeny kept two axis powers in the war not quite single headedly, but operating at the level of a squad leader during Operation Oak (breaking Mussolini out of prison to put him back in charge of a German puppet state Italy) and Operation Panzerfaust (abducting Horthy's son to force Hungary's hand).
He went on to escape from his own imprisonment by the Allies, become a military advisor in Egypt training their army with a team of former SS men he put together, until eventually getting recruited by Mossad to do spy work for the Israelis.
Big player character energy.

I'm not from there or I'd be spoonfeeding you. The fact you don't know that tells me you need to fuck off back there instead. Dumbass.

Yeah, allowing him to change allegiance like that was pure GM bullshit.

>>97023871
Israel had a very results-oriented hiring policy.

>>97023871

Jews. The answer is always jews.
>>

Both sides of that bargain were extremely pragmatic. Skorzeny didn't want to get kidnapped like Eichmann. Though, tbf, I imagine he would have been a much harder "grab" both in a political and personal sense - if you're the top SS commando of a brutal fuck all war you're going to be tougher than the average bear.

Plus he really had no dealings with the camps, and for Israel keeping an Arab country from getting nukes was a much, much larger critical threat than Skorzeny living large in Europe. Also, this wasn't exactly the first time Israel did something like this if you listen to rumors - supposedly their tank corps got trained and in some cases commanded by former SS tank officers.

As an aside, Skorzeny's biography is hilarious in a "trolling the uptight Junkers" sense where he's making it sound like he assaulted and conquered the Maginot Line with an MG42 in each hand because Guderian was too slow.
