What games have you plaid within the last week, anon?
>>97018985SCOTLAND FOREVERRRRRRRRR*rips a greasy pepperoni fart down some English nonce's throat and gets stabbed by a Paki outside of Greggs*
>>97018985>Love leather>Ticket to ride up>Dungeons and drag
>>97018985Between The Sheets. It's a indie linenal horror game.
>>97018985Been getting back into Hemline: the Gathering
>>97018985I remain a forever no-games because I live in the middle of bumfuck nowhere and I'm forced to play online where 99% of DMs cancel or ghost before the first session actually happens. And I don't want to try DMing a system before I've had a chance to even play it...
>>97018985None.I have no friends with whom to play these nerd games with.My only outlet for these hobbies is this shithole board.
>>97018985I played Xenos rampant with my son on Monday. Hopefully we'll play again during the weekend.
I wrapped up a homebrew The Dark Eye campaign with my table of newbies. The table is on break for now, because my brother's GF wants to try her hands on GMing Avatar Legends next and we probably won't start that until next year.Got another game of TDE going this friday though, with my table of experienced players.
I will not be elaborating at this time.
>>97018985MonopolyAs the thimble, obviously
>>97018985
>>97018985I played a one-shot of Cthulhu Dark with strangers two days ago. I hadn't played any game in person in ages. I went in expecting nothing, as I know how badly things can go with randoms, but I had a really good time. My chief complaint is that dispite it being a horror game, nobody actually got kilt
>>97019784>nipplesthat's porran on a blue board
>>97019443Play a solo rpg with an oracle. It's what I did before becoming a forever gm.
>>97018985Arkham Horror: The Card Game
>>97018985Sadly, only 5e D&D since I agreed to fill an empty player slot in a friend's game after someone dropped out. Had a blast at a game convention the weekend before though.
>>97018985Your shitpunning aside, only Digimon Digital Adventures. 1.4 on Sunday, 2E on tuesday. I have another 1.4 game today. The sunday game is wrapping up next session. We managed to save Bagramon from his own nihilism because my character is a friendship dumbass whose mega (we're doing it tamers style with the humans and digimon merging for mega) literally has the power of friendship as a tangible force for their signature move and said character made a promise to two other digimon to try and save bagramon, and now we're fighting abaddomon core because I decided to try and purify negamon with said friendship power but instead just beefed it up it seems.Tuesday we followed up on last session, where a cendrillmon we'd saved Mirei's (yes the one from Cyber Sleuth and other games) Angewomon from got attacked by the D-Brigade and some cloaked motherfucker statted as a Mega. I popped my tamer talent that applies [Taunt], my digimon went down but with the help of some NPCs, one of them dark evolving from near-death, and one of the party's digimon reaching Perfect/Ultimate (whatever you wanna call the thing after champion), we managed to beat it and cause the rest of the D-Brigade to retreat.Today, we're gonna trap a digifake the GM made called PopupWisemon (It's just Spamton who also likes fucked up gameshows where he attacks us with code zombies aka weird malignant code humanoids that are the remnants of corrupted digimon, sorta like the eaters in Cyber Sleuth I guess) by setting up a shitty Wheel of Fortune clone then having my Digimon use her mastery of code (AncientMermaidmon, the only mega in the group currently) basically trap him so we can kill him. The bbeg is shoutmon, and shoutmon uses Popup to teleport places, so we 're trying to kneecap shoutmon indirectly since he has admin privileges and we can't do much about that right now.
>>97019658>my brother's GF wants to try her hands on GMing Avatar Legends Is she fat?
>D&D 3.5e game on Friday night>Savage Worlds steampunk campaign on Saturday night>Call of Cthulhu campaign on Sunday afternoonNot all my groups meet every week so it isn't like I play 3x a week every week but it did line up that way this week. Also sometimes play Stars Without Number with my dad and brother.

>>97018985High Society, a nice hand management bid game (by Knizia)Intoduced some friends into Wingspan. Those poor souls, now they are going to buy it.Some roleplaying (Masks, vanilla edition)
>>97019443DESU, I moved from a 1Mil. city into a 100k city and there was nobody. I like RP, so I started a club, pasting photocopies near universities and such. Now we're around 5 DMs and 15+ players (really high ration) and I'm the one who gets the PDFs... most of them have played Lady Blackbird, InSpectres, Mouseguard and still don't know what DnD5 is X-D
>>97019503Ohhh, I've been considering playing it to seduce the budding Warhammer players into small+fast wargaming (before entering W40k). How did it go? What were the Detachments?
>>97020511Nah. My brother and his friends are a bunch of normies in their mid 20s. They're all a bit nerdy, but I think that's just how younger normies are nowadays.
>>97020980NTA, but my old 40k group, having mostly hung up their models because we are old farts with jobs and families, have jumped on Trench Crusade due to similarities in tone and a much smaller time devotion. We can finish almost 3 full battles in 1 hour, if we hold off the Exploration Phase and just use different armies to match up.>inb4 SHILL!!1!>I'm just trying to help guys who want to get their nerd on within a time+money budget
>>97018985Werewolf: the Apocalypse
>>97019443play solo>And I don't want to try DMing a system before I've had a chance to even play it...Why?
>>97019784Nice
>>97018985Started a soft-reboot on an online game that brought in a couple of new players as part of a cast changeup, set in the same setting as the previous arc of the game and a couple of months advanced in the timeline. Only one character carried over from 'arc 1' to 'arc 2', but thats enough to maintain continuity.
>>97021329Best I can give you is 63 and 1/2, what did you even need 62 bits for?
>>97020980We play quite regularly. As he is six years old, his detachments are typically around 50-60 points, mine is maybe 30. A game lasts maybe 45 minutes and typically end with my detachment being wiped out, as it's mostly light infantry and some heavy infantry with ap weapons facing off against elite infantry (space marines and terminators) supported by fighting vehicles (dreadnoughts) and greater xenomorphs (vorax battle-automata).The lack of granularity might boggle the minds of 40k players, but I think the ruleset really sells how powerful, disciplined and reliable marines are compared to regular humans. I also use an alternative rule for failed activation rolls, we just move to the next unactivated unit. I've also permitted elite infantry to have engulfing weapons, because I've models my terminators to have heavy flamers.
Finished a short 6-7 months campaign of lancer (GM)Played pf2e kingmaker.Played exalted essence high seas adventure game.Wildsea.And gonna gm some more lancer tomorrow.
>>97018985Fucking none. I'm busy with work, one of my players is sick, and another has a newborn. I'll be luck if we play again before the New Year.
>>97018985Cosmere. But it was like more of an improvisation with d20 than actually using the system.
>>97019443become a soloCHAD
>>97019443>And I don't want to try DMing a system before I've had a chance to even play it...I DMed a system before there was any system and understanding of TTRPGs, when I was like 10 or something. Just go for it.
>>97025389Anon you were probably gming for other 10yos tho, weren't you>>97025326I'm surprised at that. I assumed the game would be quite mechanically heavy, given some of the authors wrote from ffg star wars.
>>97025669>I'm surprised at that. I assumed the game would be quite mechanically heavy, given some of the authors wrote from ffg star wars.Or the session consisted mainly of activities that the system doesn't cover in extensive mechanical detail.
>>97020941>Intoduced some friends into Wingspan. Those poor souls, now they are going to buy it.Based
>>97018985One match of Kill Team, Plague Marines vs Ratlings, had to quit in TP3 because the store we play at was closing. My opponent was playing Ratlings for the first time and still getting the hang of them. He ended up having a really good time, I was surprised that his melee specialist in an 11-body team was better at melee than my specialist, but then again I'm not sure if I followed all my rules correctly.
>>97020941I love Wingspan because whenever people talk about it it sounds like a parody.>However, the balance of the birds is completely broken. As mentioned there are complete bombs, like Chihuahuan Raven which practically guarantees a victory if you draw them early.>If you can get Ravens first round, they can be a huge boost, but don't guarantee a winning score. If you can get a raven and a Sandhill Crane or Canadian Goose early you are set. But it doesn't come up often enough to consider it broken.>I know it sounds a little flippant, but I truly believe that the best strategy in Wingspan is to play tactically rather than strategically. If you're dealt a couple of those migrating birds at the start of the game, build them and use them ... taking care to migrate them to the row you intend to activate next turn. All real posts I just grabbed off the internet.
>>97018985Vampire the Masquerade, Genesys, Delta Green, and Pendragon. All in the same day, too.
>>97025887True wingspanners only want one thing and its disgusting
>>97018985Three GURPS games:One set in the late industrial revolution where we're visiting and investigating a mythological island off the course of Britain. One set in the near future where the party is a group of mercenaries riding around Mars in a sandcrawler. And one set in cyberpunk 2020 but run in GURPS.
