Like with Repanse taking up arms as the Lady's chosen who, not only banishes a Chaos Lord in single combat and turns the tide of the invasion, but after being granted the title of Duchess of Lyoness, she was still leading men into battle for at least a hundred years afterwards.There are also continuous tales of women who wanted to be knights, but have to disguise themselves as men to do so. Flaunting tradition but not able to do it openly.

Women can be powerful, but they are powerful in a womenly way, via court politics and domestic affairs. Not for some reason being equally as strong as men on the regular and doing the same things in society. Women of high birth are important political figures like irl Eleanor of Aquitane or Hildegard of Bingen or in Arthurian Fiction like Guenivere or Lunete. The same is true in Bretonnia novels like Knight Errant. Noble women's opinions are meant to be respected, and enchantresses hold legal power, but that doesnt mean they are the same as men and done armor and fight like them. OFC there are exceptions, but they are considered exceptional. It doesnt ignore biology and psychology.Kind of messes up the whole chivalric vibe if knights and ladies didnt tend to fall in line with what knights and ladies do.
