What do new card games or experience ones do right and which things they keep messing up when it comes to card layouts, symbols, text wording, game mechanics, labeling info such card sets or whatever. What suggestions, improvements, or ideas would you suggest a designer or stop doing.
Well answer this first, OP.Are you going to attempt making your own?
>>97109548Not OP, but I'm interested in the same topic for similar reasons.I'm not making "my own" as a commercial product, but as an extension of something that I can play with friends.
>>97109548Yes, I am looking into it so I figure I asked more experience persons in the hobby about it. Triying to avoid problems and start the best I can. Implementing ideas I haven't thought or fix potential problems in my own ideas. I currently have 2 ideas for two distinct cards games. One plays like a fighting game something like the UFS TCG but with different mechanics, and other flexible TGC with undefine characterics and open to any mechanics.
