Women are valuable, men are not.
Just depends on my character concept and which gender seems more natural for the concept
>>97139776>Why do you?Because I can.>Why do you think it bothers /tg/ so much? This is 4Chan. People get angry at literally anything on here. I just don’t let it bother me.
It's fun to be that which you are not
It's more acceptable to play them as emotional without coming off as a literal pussy (As in the case of a man character being emotional)

Similar to how I consider more playing blue-collars when all the party in COC is PHDs types.>Why do you think it bothers /tg/ so much?/tg/ doesn't live rent free in my head. I'll assume it's something about transgederism that rustles their jimmies.
>Men who make/roleplay female characters, why do you? It's no different than creating or roleplaying as female characters as a GM>Why do you think it bothers /tg/ so much?I don't care what this board thinks or care to know why it would think so

Probably trying to write "your arse goes here" but looked up ass and got asinus instead of culus or podex.
>>97139776I never rp as a chick that's gay, all my characters are buff hairy men that make me feel safe in their strong arms
>>97139776I've done it before to have a variety to the characters I've tried, I usually play as male humans. As to the men who habitually choose women and never play as men, it's for one of the following reasons:1.Latent gender dysphoria2.Severe goonerism3.Extreme discomfort with masculinity cause by being a fucking loser nerd Or a combination of the above.

>>97139776Easier to find art that isn't generic as fuck.
>>97139776On occasion, I come up with a character concept that just feels better as a feminine character to me, so I make the character female. I make male characters far more often, and I feel pretty comfortable and confident in my own sex and gender as the default for how I tend to make player characters. It shouldn't bother /tg/ that much. I can understand though, if some people have had bad experiences (especially when they were teenagers or very early on in adulthood) where someone played a lady character and proceeded to fuck things up by oversexualizing things. What I'm seeing a lot these days is not that, however. It's people who are absolutely obsessed with worrying about trans people, getting upset at the idea that a man might be interested in exploring feminine concepts through fiction, etc. They're basically winding themselves up about shit that really isn't a problem, and that they shouldn't be insisting is their problem.
It's only weird if the player makes it weird

Because I could effectively bankroll the rest of the party by telling the DM "Yeah, Ill let him bust a load in my mouth if he gives me an extra 10 gold". It became so lucrative that another player tried to become my pimp. Why wouldnt I take advantage of that?
>>971397761. Her gender was decided by a die roll.2. I wanted to play a PC based on an OC superhero team I'd made up as a kid and her powers were the most interesting.3. I retired a male PC and made the replacement's gender the opposite for fresher experience.4. The party was full of combat heavy PCs with low social skills, so I made a PC to fill the gap and such stat spread would make the PC pathetic if they were a man.5. Same as 1. Technically they were non-binary, but when the campaign ended, I rolled for what they had in their pants and it landed on the female option.
>>97139776Because it fits the concept I want to play better. Because I want to. Because I'm not some dipshit who can't separate fiction from reality and myself from my PC. >>97139776I typically just play whichever gender the party has less of which typically means female. Though in general with groups I play with I've found playing female characters gets me noticeable advantages over males ones. NPCs are far more likely to be bi-curious when I'm playing a female character over a male meaning its far easier to seduce my way into an advantageous position with a female character, likewise more evil/gray characters were less scrutinized for said malice when I made them female. Beyond that see pic related for why I like playing female characters it also lets me avoid falling into the stoic background role my male characters often fall into since they're closer to me so I have a harder time separating my mind set from theirs, so I often end up marred in choice paralysis over more spontaneous characters that I also think generally work better and are less scrutinized as woman.

>>97141510>Playing a woman unironically helped me improve my social skills, and actually meet women in real life.Flirting with your male friends did that?
Bait thread and its been said before but there’s basically three reasons why people do it:a) because someone has come up with a genuine female character concept.b) because they are horny.c) because the player wishes the were a woman.People might accordingly be bothered by it because:a) they think someone is having fun the wrong way.b) they hate thinly veiled fetish inserts and/or ERP.c) they hate trannies.

Its like with all those hyper agressive anti pedophile activists who are then found out to be pedophiles themself. For a normal people, the topic simply isnt on the forefront of their mind 24/7. Its a non-issue. But if you´re in denial? Yeah, you feel like you constantly need to prove that you arent a scam

So I suck it the fuck up and repress, and one of the benefits of a TTRPG is that I can pretend to be a girl who isn't judged on what they can provide, and who actually has a social circle of friends who genuinely care about how they're feeling.
