>>97142726We seem to have gone from #6465 to #6467.>>97142206>Chainfail just means I get to come back to Earth with my massively OP build and there's no solars here to stand in my way.Plot twist: One of those Solars was also a jumper, and they’re annoyed about having their chain cut short.
>>97143190>Plot twist: One of those Solars was also a jumper, and they’re annoyed about having their chain cut short.Well fuck me then. If it was a multiplayer chain and I wasn't even informed about it I was just set up for failure no matter what I did. At least if he was also on Jump one and didn't take all those apocalypse drawbacks (if he did he has nothing to blame me for) for extra points then I'm reasonably confident that my superior set of perks can hold their own against his superior exaltation so maybe this was for the best.
I like forcing Jumper to work at a maid cafe in every anime world she visits. You figure after the first couple of times she'd actually be pretty good at it, right?
>>97143318Speaking as a Solar jumper myself, if that happened to me I’d be both annoyed and amused, and offer to team up with you. With your perks and my charms we’d make Earth a very nice place.
>>97143318>multiplayer>In Exalted First Age>Dragonblooded and Solar jumpersI don't think your perks are gonna be superior anon.
Anyway as a add on. I am starting a new chain in exalted the first age with a deeb jumper. Only really probably going to get a deeb exaltation. Maybe a godhood one day in the exalted sense. (How those two will mesh together I'll figure out then.) Its really not that bad a place to start at all as a deeb I think. As long as you don't mind not being the top dog. Sending Jumper there and I'm still planning out a build for em. But he's already got a pair of wives. He loves. So that's always nice. I am debating whether to send him to the proper peak of the first age or during the shogunate though. I'd love to start with the peak of the solar reign and move onto the shogunate but I don't think Jumper would survive that long. And spending millennia plus in exalted jump one would definitely be a major influencer. So I'm not sure I want to go the long way.
>>97143467>I'd love to start with the peak of the solar reign and move onto the shogunate but I don't think Jumper would survive that long. It’s possible, but without the Heartstone of Immortality, not very likely.>And spending millennia plus in exalted jump one would definitely be a major influencer. So I'm not sure I want to go the long way.Yeah, that’s the kind of thing you only do if you’re ready to embrace the Exalted life.
>>97143436He said he was going to take all the catastrophe drawbacks while the Solar had presumably not, and only took minor drawbacks.
>>97143506>It’s possible, but without the Heartstone of Immortality, not very likely.Yeah though given how the peak of the first age is. I don't know if it'd be that impossible for a prominent dragonblood to get one of them. And with the perks on offer. A jumper can become a very prominent dragonblood indeed. To the point if they ever arrived in the normal dragonblooded jump/timeline they'd be seen as some potential savior/Legendary figure. Though it surely wouldn't be that easy. >Yeah, that’s the kind of thing you only do if you’re ready to embrace the Exalted life.Definitely. Of course the exalted lifestyle isn't that anathema to the Jumper lifestyle. But I was thinking this Jumper would get there by steps. Get a decent manor or estate in a future jump. Start building a family. Find some land to conquer and take with you. Preferably in that order.>Pic That is a fine Ei. Like her character which is partly why I'm grabbing a expy for her. Loyal, competent (Mostly), and a hell of a fighter.
>>97143417Not like I've got a grudge against the guy. I'd be reasonably paranoid of him but otherwise open to the idea of teaming up.>>97143436The perks are for the most part the same regardless of what type of exalt you take them as. Under the assumption that the other guy did not take thousands of points of drawbacks like I did then I'd have more of them.>>97143467DBs have a path to "godhood" built in, picrel. And one of their capstones in TFA helps with the process. At any rate you're never going to build a proper dynasty and make the best use of your qualities with only two wives. Love and marriage are optional but you need a love more women to breed.
>>97143643>a lovea lot*
>>97143467>(How those two will mesh together I'll figure out then.)It's a downgrade for the most part.
>>97143641>Yeah though given how the peak of the first age is. I don't know if it'd be that impossible for a prominent dragonblood to get one of them. And with the perks on offer. A jumper can become a very prominent dragonblood indeed.Yeah, you could easily become prominent enough to have a level 5 Earth Manse, and if it’s the Late First Age and you have Legendary Breeding that would be another argument for keeping you alive.>To the point if they ever arrived in the normal dragonblooded jump/timeline they'd be seen as some potential savior/Legendary figure.A fully kitted out Dragonblooded from the First Age jump is someone I’d give decent odds in a fight with the Scarlet Empress.>Definitely. Of course the exalted lifestyle isn't that anathema to the Jumper lifestyle.Probably why I like my Solar Elf jumper.>Get a decent manor or estate in a future jump. Start building a family. Find some land to conquer and take with you. Preferably in that order.Bronze Age Collapse would be good for all three.>That is a fine Ei. Like her character which is partly why I'm grabbing a expy for her. Loyal, competent (Mostly), and a hell of a fighter. She’s got a good design, yeah.>Not like I've got a grudge against the guy. I'd be reasonably paranoid of him but otherwise open to the idea of teaming up.I’d probably be sitcom annoyed, which is to say I’d get along fine with him, but every now and then I’d poke him about it.>”You know, that Fate series has a lot of interesting people in it. Just imagine how much fun we could have if we were offered a chance to visit that world.”
>>97143754>>97143643I went on autopilot and deleted the link for the last quote.
>>97143643>DBs have a path to "godhood" built in, picrel. And one of their capstones in TFA helps with the process. At any rate you're never going to build a proper dynasty and make the best use of your qualities with only two wives.I don't know I think it'd be possible. Especially if all three of the initial dragonblooded have legendary breeding. They can have a lot of kids over the years. and those kids would have kids to over their long lives. And those kids would. Give it a century and you'd have dozens of dynasty members probably. And still potentially be having kids yourself. As for picrel. Transcendent gaian harmony is cool. Jumpers definitely going to have the perk related to it. But hell if I'm not sure what that'd actually look like once fully achieved. >>97143717>It's a downgrade for the most part. For celestial exalted probably. For a terrestial I imagine its a little questionable. But I was thinking they wouldn't cancel out each other. Just a sort of expansion of capabilities/existence.>>97143754>A fully kitted out Dragonblooded from the First Age jump is someone I’d give decent odds in a fight with the Scarlet Empress. That would be fun to have as the climax of their time in the regular Exalted Deeb jump. Assuming return of the scarlet empress happens. A appropriate final or penultimate boss.>Probably why I like my Solar Elf jumper.Yeah its a fun way to go about things. Solar elfs cool to.>Bronze Age Collapse would be good for all three. Not the worst idea. Hell even if its just the three of them they could probably walk into any of the city states in greece. Or early egypt and just say "I'm in charge now" and no one would be able to really dispute that.>Picsome things never change. Even if there is no bard in this timeline.
>>97143871>That would be fun to have as the climax of their time in the regular Exalted Deeb jump. Assuming return of the scarlet empress happens. A appropriate final or penultimate boss.It could also be interesting to end your time in First Age by taking the Empress’s role and forming the Empire yourself.>Solar elfs cool to.Why, thank you.>Not the worst idea. Hell even if its just the three of them they could probably walk into any of the city states in greece. Or early egypt and just say "I'm in charge now" and no one would be able to really dispute that.It might be easier to start your own kingdom, that way you can set everything up the way you want rather than having to alter established systems.>some things never change. Even if there is no bard in this timeline.Just take Performance as a favorited ability and use the Regalia of the Chosen item to get an artifact instrument.>Especially if all three of the initial dragonblooded have legendary breeding. If you and your wives have Legendary Breeding, the Solar you serve will throw Heartstones of Immortality at you. By the late first age almost all of the Dragonblooded had mortal ancestry, so your bloodlines being completely pure would make the Solar you serve look very good.
>>97143992>It could also be interesting to end your time in First Age by taking the Empress’s role and forming the Empire yourself.I...I was not planning on it but that coupled with the feasible way to live to the era of the shogunate with the heartstone. A ideas been planted in my head. That could be a a good way to end things. Have it be a arc of Jumper getting more directly involved in the world as time goes on. From a functionary/soldier for a solar King in the high first age to a reluctant participant in the usurpation that survived to being one of many lords in the shogunate. To finally forming the empire on the blessed isle at the end of the first age proper Theres a whole arc there I can see. Write about even. Xianxia hyrule I've transitioned to a more long-term project but its good to have variety. I can only imagine the benefactor looking away for a moment not realizing the settings they accidentally have him in wont take him out on their own. So he ends up staying massively longer then planned. >It might be easier to start your own kingdom, that way you can set everything up the way you want rather than having to alter established systems.True maybe set up somewhere in sicily or italy. Form Bronze age rome.>Just take Performance as a favorited ability and use the Regalia of the Chosen item to get an artifact instrument. Not a bad idea.>If you and your wives have Legendary Breeding, the Solar you serve will throw Heartstones of Immortality at you. By the late first age almost all of the Dragonblooded had mortal ancestry, so your bloodlines being completely pure would make the Solar you serve look very good.Thats... well I got a plan then. I could see thatI was imagining the solar Jumper serves would be middle of the road in terms of power. Friendly enough but after a few centuries Jumper could definitely see a little bit of madness and the great curse take hold. Even if he wasn't knowledgeable of it before he got there.
I can't access the bunker, anyone knows who posted the new Hellaverse jump?
>>97143356>SheI want my money back
>>97144562Shard
>>97144562He posted it last thread here, too.
>>97144343>to being one of many lords in the shogunate. To finally forming the empire on the blessed isle at the end of the first age properYeah, with all the kids you’d have you’d be well positioned to become a major figure in the Shogunate, which would then lead into forming the Empire. One thing I’d suggest is taking Dreams of the Age To Come to help you succeed, and Legendary Savant or Student of Autochthon would help with keeping at least some of the First Age tech running.>Xianxia hyrule I've transitioned to a more long-term project but its good to have variety.A xianxia setting being a long term project seems fitting.>True maybe set up somewhere in sicily or italy. Form Bronze age rome.Take the time extension option, and with your kids ruling kingdoms within your empire you could well wind up with the entire world united under your rule. Heck, take the full 2770 years and you might end the Bronze Age Collapse jump gazing on the Earth from your palace on the moon.>Not a bad idea.Dragonblooded also have plenty of fun Performance charms. Take Three-String Sword Prana and you can make ranged attacks with your instrument, and Invisible Street Performer Technique turns playing an instrument into a stealth technique.>Thats... well I got a plan then. I could see thatI was imagining the solar Jumper serves would be middle of the road in terms of power. Friendly enough but after a few centuries Jumper could definitely see a little bit of madness and the great curse take hold. Even if he wasn't knowledgeable of it before he got there.Sounds like it’ll work.
>>97144616>One thing I’d suggest is taking Dreams of the Age To Come to help you succeed, and Legendary Savant or Student of Autochthon would help with keeping at least some of the First Age tech running. That'd be ideal, though Exalted the first age is a hell of a point vampire already. Jumpers already freshly exalted. Probably going to have to go through academy training himself.Gotta think if any of the drawbacks are feasible to take other then dealing with the rebelling city.>Heck, take the full 2770 years and you might end the Bronze Age Collapse jump gazing on the Earth from your palace on the moon.Jumper: I conquered it! That means I get to keep it Right?. That's the rule!Benefactor who didn't plan for this escalating so fast: I gotta stop leaving you in these worlds so long.>Dragonblooded also have plenty of fun Performance charms. Take Three-String Sword Prana and you can make ranged attacks with your instrument, and Invisible Street Performer Technique turns playing an instrument into a stealth technique. That does sound pretty awesome.>PicI probably shouldn't use venti again for this guy. If only to avoid being to repetitive. Though they are a air caste and so are his wives. I think I have a potential alternative though.I imagine if he does become emperor he quietly pulls back on Lunars being hard considered Anathema inherently though. Maybe tries to work the new ones going forward into the empire somehow. A eternal war againt shapeshifting barbarians is not something you want.
>>97144562let me guess ,se?
>>97144836>Jumpers already freshly exalted. Probably going to have to go through academy training himself.Newly Exalted is the best experience level to take when starting in First Age. As a Dragonblooded, your training will likely come from your family, and talking of family there’s a decent chance that your future wives are your sisters.>Jumper: I conquered it! That means I get to keep it Right?. That's the rule!Having conquered the world and started space exploration, you’re all set to go to Stellaris next and end it with the whole galaxy united your rule as Galactic Emperor. I doubt you want to escalate that fast, but it is technically possible.>That does sound pretty awesome. Also Vibrating Strings Defense, which enables you to parry attacks by playing your instrument.>I think I have a potential alternative though.Looks good.>I imagine if he does become emperor he quietly pulls back on Lunars being hard considered Anathema inherently though. Maybe tries to work the new ones going forward into the empire somehow. A eternal war againt shapeshifting barbarians is not something you want. That’d be a good idea. Some Lunars would hate you no matter what, but some would come around. Maybe you could quietly offer them sanctuary in your lands during the Usurpation, it’d be risky but the payoff would be enormous.
>>97145229>Newly Exalted is the best experience level to take when starting in First AgeYeah I thought so to. Going back and forth whether or not to be a drop in or not. Usually I prefer drop in with jumpers as to not deal with memories but that's a little hard to justify with a deeb.>there’s a decent chance that your future wives are yoI'd like to say not. Theres some lines I don't cross and thats one of them. But I am going back and forth whether the second is a Makoto or yae expy.>Having conquered the world and started space exploration, you’re all set to go to Stellaris next and end it with the whole galaxy united your rule as Galactic Emperor. I doubt you want to escalate that fast, but it is technically possible.Yeah thats a bit extreme. Might just have him be there for a few centuries if bronze age collapse is done jump 2. Take a good chunk of italy but stay with that. Even though he could take more. Enough land to use as a seed/base for things to come. So it'd come out to a fair bit of land, whatever chunk of his dynasty followed him on the chain and whatever magitech they can whip up without solar help (Which given he's probably having savant and student of autocthon both its a probably a good bit if less absolutely broken)>Looks good. Thanks! Ironically enough also from a gacha. And from what may as well be a dynast house status wise.>That’d be a good idea. Some Lunars would hate you no matter what, but some would come around. Maybe you could quietly offer them sanctuary in your lands during the Usurpation, it’d be risky but the payoff would be enormous.Yeah the siderals sure wouldn't like it but you got to bury the hatchet eventually. Maybe come to a understanding with a elder lunar who lives by thats not spoken of much between them. A circle of lunars gets somewhere safe to stay and live as long as they don't cause trouble for Jumper and his people. It'd go a long way towards reconciliation eventually to.
>>97145417>Yeah I thought so to. Going back and forth whether or not to be a drop in or not. Usually I prefer drop in with jumpers as to not deal with memories but that's a little hard to justify with a deeb.As a newly exalted Dragonblooded with Legendary Breeding, your starting age is probably something like 6 or 8, so origin memories wouldn’t be that big of an issue anyway.>But I am going back and forth whether the second is a Makoto or yae expy.Yae would make a good contrast to Raiden.>So it'd come out to a fair bit of land, whatever chunk of his dynasty followed him on the chain and whatever magitech they can whip up without solar help (Which given he's probably having savant and student of autocthon both its a probably a good bit if less absolutely broken)That makes for a good kingdom to have as your base in future worlds.>Thanks! >>97145570>As a newly exalted Dragonblooded with Legendary Breeding, your starting age is probably something like 6 or 8, so origin memories wouldn’t be that big of an issue anyway.Eh fair. I can work with that. Maybe head canon Jumper as being from a fairly minor house. And the legendary bloods something that resurged with him. Some quirk of his birth. How I explain the student of autocthon I'll... think on.>Yae would make a good contrast to Raiden.Yeah I could see Yae as a Beastwoman dragonblood. And both of them being Jumpers childhood friends if starting as a kid is rolled with. Maybe they meet in the academy. Eis the martial artist while Yaes the sorcerer eventually. >What gacha? The design makes me think of one of those xianxia gachas.Close in some ways! That's Hong lu (And probably the name Jumper will take if I write him.) He's from limbus company. Its a korean game. It's set in a cyberpunk dystopia though its not just pure cyberpunk. He's from the more Chinese part of the setting/city the game takes place in. >They’d also help you a lot, Lunars make for very good spies, and they can develop new Celestial Martial Arts and teach them to members of your house.Yeah. >>97146040>What sort of ideas do you want to do?The chain I’m thinking about right now uses Exalted First Age as jump 0 (basically you get the build from a jump, but don’t start there) and Collared Colonization as jump 1. Also a Royal Warstrider would be useful for major battles, and whether or not you get an instrument Regalia of the Chosen can get you a very good outfitYeah the Protoshinmaic vortexts and royal strider alone would probably be enough to carve out a territory for the gang after the shogunate comes about. Hands of the maker are sadly less useful for deebs then solars given there version manipulates the elements but its still useful to.Thinking about it theirs a lot that can be done during the early days of the shogunate with all the chaos going on. From deebs fighting each other to shadowlands potentially emerging, to dealing with the remnants of the solar empire like the legions of robots some of them tried to design to replace dragonblooded with.>What probably happens is you get taken on as a student by a Solar crafter. >>97146545>Sounds like a fun time. Though if nothing else a bunch of solars could potentially just make creation if they can't find it.My group is actually a Solar, a Lunar, a Sidereal, and five Dragonblooded. That kind of firepower will come in handy when the Fair Folk invasion happens. Which reminds me, make sure you create an artifact that duplicates the effect of the Solar Charm Contagion Curing Touch before the Usurpation, you’re going to need that when the Great Contagion hits.>That'd make sense to me. >>97146618>My group is actually a Solar, a Lunar, a Sidereal, and five Dragonblooded. I wouldn't of thought of that otherwise. That'll save a lot of lives. Though even with that. The contagion and fae folk invasion are still going to hurt a lot I think. Lots of the dynasty are gonna probably die. But given its a apocalyptic event I think thats alright.>Sounds about right.Yeah, ironically enough despite the magitech expertise jumper doesn't have a sorcery perk. >>97146755>Ah a single solar might not be able to do that though. Nice group though. Got all the major non corrupted exalts. Our goal is to find Creation rather than make a new one anyway. As to what happens when we do reach it, I’m not sure. There will of course be some threat we have to defeat, but aside from that I’m not sure whether to continue the chain past reaching First Age or end it there. One idea I’ve got is jumper and companions can all feel it in their hearts that Creation is their true home, so while continuing would be fun, staying there would make sense.>That is very good advice. I wouldn't of thought of that otherwise. That'll save a lot of lives.Your own, not least of which.>Though even with that. The contagion and fae folk invasion are still going to hurt a lot I think. Even beyond them being what they are.>Sounds like a fun thing to do together.Funs a interesting word to use for it given initiating into a circles seen as some deeply spiritual and world view shifting experience. >>97147182>Fair. Not every chain needs to be a long one.True. Maybe if the chain continues, the idea will be that I can create a portal back to Creation now that I’ve been there, so we can go visit other worlds. Also, talking about this reminds me of the other jump 0 chain idea I had, where jump 0 was Generic Xianxia and jump 1 was Sword & Sorcery. The challenge there is the Sword & Sorcery build I have in mind costs 2700 CP, and that’s an unwise amount of drawbacks for jump 1.>Yeah Jumper and Co are going to have a hell of a axe to grind against the Fair folk and deathlords by the time the Jumps all said and done. In and out it'll be easy. It’d be funny if it actually was simple and easy for Yae, but presented the usual amount of difficulty for you and Raiden.
>>97144582But it's fun.
What is the best way to save Gem in the Exalted Mortal Hero gauntlet, for a first Jump, I'm taking it first because I'd be way too tempted to just import an awesome weapon/armor as an I Win Button otherwise.
>>97147808Jam destinies into your eyes and overpower Gem's destructive fate with a million other fates entangling the shit out of it.
>>97147905I mean... it's a plan. I'll have to take stock of what the best build is for doing that. Hm, sad that gaunlet isn't still around. Wanna know if I can be all the races that I get for free on top of my chosen Race. I'll assume no and keep going.
>>97147808Just be strong enough to beat the shit out of anything that would end Gem. It's not too hard to be as strong as a mid-tier exalted in mortal heroes.
So, checking out everything that I can get is funny. Like, there is just so much stuff, also if you could take more than one Race it'd be possible to be a Ghost-Blooded God-Blooded Half-Caste (of both Eclipse & Serenity) of the Lintha Family! That'd certainly be something to explain.Companions I could get to lean on:The Pack: Eight animals to start with, anyone care to suggest good ones? I'm thinking Borophaginae Epicyon personally, but any animal that has ever walked the earth is kind of a lot of animals and you guys might have a better idea. Maybe I should go with some breeding pairs of Epicyon, Andrewsarchus mongoliensis, Arctodus simus, and Hippos? All of them are going to be Children of the Mighty no matter my choice on their original races. The Talon: Five Children of the Earth with access to Origins, Destinies, and the Echo of a Bastard Child Drawback. Maybe 2 Warriors, 2 Priests, and a Savant? I'd be open to suggestions on these guys. Maybe just make them the Savant Squad so I have some Companions who know how to help with Manse/Artifact/Warstrider stuff?A Chipped Dragon Scale: Five more bodies to put towards my cause. Dragon Touched all here, not sure what the best combos are for the Dragon Touched though. Best bet for a Defense Force, going by the lack of Perfects and loads of bullshit in Dragon Blooded Charm trees? The Misfit Circle: Another five companions to lean on. These guys can be Children of the Mighty, but what should I have them be doing? Thinking the craziest tactic would be to have a Lintha and fae.Made Men: The final five Companions! Maybe Priests for each Race of Air/Earth and three Djala to get a following amongst the more oppressed Races of Mortals? Genuinely not sure what to do with them, but I'd have to fit them into a plan at some point so maybe I'll That's a full Twenty-Eight Companions who all can themselves get Followers so all of us can have:~100 Enlightened Mortal Extras~300 CultistsThat's 11,600 Followers.Wow.
>>97148418From what I could find out about Gem from some books it looks like the city has like a million or so people, but only 4000 actual soldiers (not sure if that's total of just adjusting for the massive gladiator population and Mercenaries). Still, over eleven thousand more people in the fight could be a good boon, but everyone not explictly good at fighting likely needs a focused Support Build. That's still like 560 Enlightened Essence Warriors if I go with an even set for the Extras with a massive logistics train built-in. I might boost the numbers a bit by making Extras that would usually be Brokers into Warriors, pushing that number up to 1120 Warriors in a fighting force. That's like a tenth of a Lookshy Field Force, so that's a neat thing....Oh, wait... any of 28 Companions could get the groups in the Gear section. Guess it's time to build twenty-eight companion builds first.
>>97148418>>97148484The PackDestiny:Marked by Perfection for nothingThe Paragon’s Own Am I using the bending fate to make the Perfect a Furry, yes. Is it funny, to me yes. Either that or it's just weird fucking experiment stuff, either way +300Drawback:An Echo of a Bastard Child for animals that're like those big not!Solar horses or something, also their presence lessens the chance of folks finding the Solar girl. Anyway, +400Race: On the Wrong Side of the Wheel (Animals) + Children of the Mighty (Half-Caste [Eclipse]), funniest Free combo I can think of.Origin: WarriorPerks:Gratuitous Skill Kata (Martial Arts & Melee) They get this for free, so that's nice at least. The idea of a bunch of Animals kitted out in razor harnesses and wrestling dudes down seems nice for some they get for FreeAdamant Virtue Meditation: let's my little furry buddies fight with conviction, also a boost to the willpower is always nice for just -50Heroic Tale Embodiment: for perhaps the funniest thing here would be them all taking Heroic personas that end up looking like kids of the Paragon is well worth it. so I'd pay -100 for that kind of funny shit.Passion Fettered Soul: is -100 well spent for anyone because the ability to get what amounts to more Virtue Channels for doing shit you were already going to is a steal at that price, even undiscounted imo.Just A Very Clumsy Person: There are nothing but normal animals in this list, honest. -50 well spent.Secret Power Slumbering is another Freebie which is great because a bunch of Essence users animals wouldn't be as funny with out the Essence Use thing. The Flow of Essence: simple, easy to use, and Free.Flawless Form: Perfect Animal Husbandry, the Paragon is going to have a fit once the allegations are leveled on him.Grasping the Perfected Lotus Root : The idea of them fighing like they're from Okami comes to mind. Also it's free.Extras x4 for -200 is kind of steep, but worth it for the soldiers.Cult x3 -50Still got 350
>>97148685ContinuedGear for the Pack:A Layman's Gear: It's Free so why not?Weapon (Razor Harness: Gossamer): -200 for an functionally invisible made out of bullshitium is worth it in my opinion.Sword of Glass: A funny Freebie, I imagine that there's a merit or trait that can let an animal use this with their teeth or something out there.Orbs of Peace and Order: Whelp, Free fetch toys that actually cannot break and are good for mental health I guess.A Storied Sword: Holy wow, two Freebie Swords? At this point I'm tempted to get them all Ashigaru Battle Armor and just say it's actual Shogunate gear instead of First Age. Not going to do it, but I was tempted. The Unbroken: Two comfort monkeys for each animal? Neat and free is cool Also sixteen Gibbons for Free, nice.Went back and got Eclipsed Light for -100. Not sure if they can even use it, but it saves points here as they'll all get A Parent's Care for Free. I'll say that these guys are rocking up to the field in Steel Silk Armor since they can still use Martial Arts with that stuff on.Sometimes You Need An Army: Pushes the numbers that the contribute up by another 2,000. Going to go with it's a bunch of Enlightened Animals of the same types as the Pack, functionally a big ass harem. Since I have 50 CP left over I guess I'll have the all get The One Ring for more Motes that don't make them explode into kaioken auras at the drop of a hat.
>>97148855Okay, wow. This changes things because looking at it, it looks like every Race gets a few numbers boosts. Children of the Earth are the odd ones out tho, so I won't have to divert the original number for the Talon and Made Men.Every Dragon Touched though is 300 more from Union of Alchemists...So, with the full number now known Jumper's army is now 3120 warriors, 2000 of which are magical animals thanks to the pack, and the Chipped Dragon Scale give five folks so the logistics train is boasting another 1500 thaumaturgy users with a handful of actual sorcerers. Jumper's Entire Group: 15,100Total army strength: 3,120 WarriorsLogistics Train: 11,980Just napkin math, but that's nearly doubling the number of able bodied soldiers (who're likely way beyond the normies that Gem desu) with a fully autonomous logistics network. I'm guessing not enough, but a hell of a start, right?
>>97148968Huh, T.B.H. get's turned into desu? Wacky.Still, army and logistics all set up for the Jumper, now to think about the Jumper's build some more.

>>97149344Where are you seeing the 4K figure? The only thing I’m seeing is this.>Rankar VII follows the example set down by his greatgrandfather, Kolar III. Gem has no standing military. Instead, the Despot hires huge number of mercenaries from a variety of companies. These mercenaries are well paid and rewarded for revealing any attempts to bribe them or lure them into coup plots. The Despot can afford such a huge and varied force, while rivalries among mercenary companies make military coups difficult to execute.

>>97152395Location> Ronchi Town (Rolled 5)A perfectly good starting town. Most Pokemon adventures start somewhere like this.Origin> Comet ResearcherI guess I'll work with Professor Apricot. Studying is nice.Perks> Lore Keeper (Free)Always handy to have information on hand and new leads to follow.> Pokedex Completion (-100) (900)This one rocks. Knowing how far away I am from mastering a subject or filling out my archive of knowledge, and where to proceed in order to finish it off.> Tech Specialist (-300) (600)Jumper prefers to take things from different worlds and reshape them into a specific magic system, and this helps a lot with that. It should also help with recreating things that Jumper doesn't take with them between worlds.> Rapid Growth (-200) (400)> Training Weight (-200) (200)> Tunnel Vision (-100) (100)These synergize to accelerate my training and learning way beyond what I'd get naturally.Items> Freebies (Free)It's a start. I can get by on some of the stuff I bring in with me, too.> Pokedex (Free)Another useful study tool, and it'll help me collect some Pokemon and other things that could prove hard to find.> Technical Machines (-200) (-100)Improving the movepools of my Pokemon is a big potential upgrade for a lot of them, especially the ones I'm bringing in from other Pokemon jumps. The HMs should also prove useful, since I never actually collected the main set.Companions> Import (Free)My partner Flareon, Vivi!Fire Lash Flareon with Slack Off sounds... usable?> Starter Pokemon (Free)William the Treecko.Treecko might be considered the hard mode option, but I think he pairs well with Flareon. Grovyle and later Sceptile bring the speed that Vivi lacks, and can switch into water and ground type moves relatively easily. Vivi meanwhile can absorb the fire and ice moves aimed at William with Flash Fire, and break down the steel-types and grass-types that William has no way to punch through.(1/2)
>>97155732Drawbacks> Hard Mode (+100) (0)Might as well live up to it. Even if this doesn't proc Training Weight on its own (since drawbacks trump perks), I think I can handle it. I had a trial by fire in Orre so I'm not inexperienced or anything. My goal in this world is to learn and improve. It would be disgraceful not to challenge myself.Scenarios> NoneThe Millenium Awakening is too time sensitive for me to realistically achieve.Wounds Unwound seems plausible, and my skillset feels appropriate for finding the Chrono Vice and then fulfilling the tasks, but the whole scenario seems too focused. I can't see Jumper dedicated enough time (ironically) to complete it.The Champ just has some unfortunate nonergy with Treecko and Hard Mode. On this plane I'm focused more on learning than battling. Saying I could overcome every challenge when it's just a side hobby would be arrogant.Ideally I think I'd like to catch a water-type to fill out the main fire/water/grass core on the team. Ghost/water regional Spiritomb sounds interesting, and pairs well with the others. I'll have enough time to explore at my leisure, so even if Spiritomb is difficult to encounter, I should be able to get there. Maybe look into the pure ground-type Quagsire, since I have experience with ground-types from Orre's desert, and I know that it would pair well with Spiritomb especially. With two spots left for flex space, I think I could at least manage a few badges on the side while the lion's share of my efforts goes toward study and research. This feels like a fun place to spend the next ten years.(2/2)
>>97154975>3-5 hoursUhI generally take three hours to beat a gym , so I consider it quick if I beat the game in 24 hours. Does this thing not have a full set of gyms/an e4, or is it just super easy?
Hey guys i'm making a Fallout 3 porn mods jumpchain and i'm need of ideas. If you have any cool ideas for items, perks, drawbacks or companions share them with me.
>>97157115Okay, what about a pack of Deathclaws or radroach items?
>>97157213While i do wonder why the hell would you want radroach items, i did add a deathclaw nest so you can have your own deathclaws or fuck them.

>>97156857These are just small fangames with their own little stories. The first game doesn't have gyms at all, the second game has... 3 gyms? Maybe 2. It's not a full adventure. These were fangames made for the annual game jam, so it was made from scratch in just over a month. Can only fit so much content into it, you know?

>>97158199This is a strange sensation. I know we're talking about pokemon, but 'no gyms' just does not compute.>>97154496>>97154864Ah, it's the hairbraid. I'm reading a fate fanfic rn and hair braids make me think of Jeanne.>>97154897I mean you could offer Jirachi's awakened form/wish granting power as a capstone for a hypothetical pokemon origin. Maybe the comet as a capstone item? You could do something with being a regional variant for maybe the 200 - pick whichever species you are, then swap out one of your elements for another one.If the game really only takes three hours then I'll poke at it and see what I can come up with.
I fixed my Queen's Blade. I'm sorry if I fucked up your build, but I somehow missed even having Drop-In items the first time around. I halved the drawbacks while I was at it. I tried to remove the cringe and keep the autism. I had to remake it from scratch. It's not perfect, but it's what I could salvage from my own psychosis.https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1ngwQVwtJKWdUlGvmjZKBpbJd97P6DZ43I know one of you can get this to Questionable Questing, and I would be grateful if you did. I viewed this Jump to be my worst. If I fix anything else, it'll be Monster Musume.I posted the original over 8 years ago.
>>97161291>I'm sorry if I fucked up your buildDon’t lie. You’ve defended more controversial decisions in other jumps.
>>97161291The standard stipend for companions is 600 CP, retard.
>>97161316I don't get how you can understand how much of a son of a bitch I am but not otherwise think I'm genuine when it buys me nothing. It's one of the great shortcomings of man. I rolled everything either down or to the side, I functionally got rid of less than a handful of things. I'll skin ya, boy.>>97161326I don't care what the standard is. You're lucky I gave you 300CP. If I hadn't already given 300CP in the first Jump, I would have given 200. Companions are just used to get around CP limitations, and I don't like that. So, get fucked, retard.
>>97161291
>>97161365>Companions are just used to get around CP limitations, and I don't like that.>fuck over everyone because a handful of people abuse thingsVery wise. Much wow.
>>97161365>but not otherwise think I’m genuineWell for one thing, you’re too much of a performative attention whore to take any of your yapping seriously. You scream and bitch about how you dindu nuthin and that you’re a strong independent virtuous soul while issuing rape threats then come crawling back to the same place that banned your bitchass like an abused child going home to be molested by daddy again. I don’t give a fuck if you want to talk shit old 4chan style, it’s the hypocrisy of wanting double standards for getting your ass licked for every dumb decision you’ve ever made in your life that make you retarded. >I’ll skin ya, boyYou can’t even skin bad design out of your jumps.>>97161388It is really funny that the longer DDanon gets to talk about anything, the harder any point he makes is to defend.
>>97161388Nah, fuck you. There's design elements that I don't like and I'm not reinforcing them. Get fucked. If I were making Mass Effect now, I would remove Scenarios because they're cancer. I don't care what fag shit you got up to while I'm not paying attention, the 300CP for companions is staying. You faggots allowed Generic Jumps and OC Jumps. You have no room to lecture me about anything.>>97161422I can continuously hold a position while wishing genuine harm on other people. It's not a meaningful contradiction to improve.
>>97161444>I would remove Scenarios because they're cancer.HOLY FUCKING BASED.
>>97161444I’m not disputing the premise you can hold a position continuously, I’m disputing the part where 1. it’s not fucking retarded and 2. your wish to inflict genuine harm doesn’t extend to deliberately making bad jumpmaking decisions.>You have no room to lecture me about anythingI’ve never written 25/75 CP perks or made porn jumps, get fucked. I am a categorically superior lifeform to you.
>>97161444>If I were making Mass Effect now, I would remove Scenarios because they're cancer. Also if you’re an honest man then just do it.Do it right now. Stand your base and own your words. It’s not difficult. You just have to highlight a few paragraphs and hit the delete button.
>>97161291I one am Happy that Queen's Blade is remembered, so yay. Because I've been hearing that for literal years and haven't seen anyone that actually DOES that. The common consensus is that it involves way too much bookkeeping
>>97161888All documents shall be in Comic sans just for you.
>>97162009I, GenericAnon, do that using Augments from FF4 to run my chain in what is nearly Creative Mode. It's probably the strongest thing I haven't houseruled out of my chain (yet). And frankly in general it's often quite natural to use Companions to pick up things you don't have. You can't afford perk to be an expert in the local science system, so dump it onto one companion instead.
>>97162124>I use an item that can only be used once every five years to basically play creative modeSo, no.
>>97162136Augments only cost 200 CP. Each Companion can afford three, then I can spend the rest of my build buying Twin and as many Augments as I can afford.
>>97162161Ahh, you're houseruling that you can buy items multiple times then?
>>97161997Sounds about right!>>97162009It isn't that I can point to people, it's a matter of function. It is something that can be used for. There are Jumps like Stellaris where the objectively right way to build for it is to take companions to exploit for CP.
>>97162173It's not a house rule. The original Pokemon jump states "THE SAME ITEM CAN BE PURCHASED MULTIPLE TIMES" in tiny lettering above the original gear section. Since all jumps work like Quicksilver's jumps unless specified otherwise, and all Quicksilver's jumps work like Pokemon unless specified otherwise, rebuying items is the regular rule.
>>97162203>It isn't that I can point to people, it's a matter of function. It is something that can be used for. There are Jumps like Stellaris where the objectively right way to build for it is to take companions to exploit for CP.>This thing that most people don't use exists specifically to be used for a thing people don't bother doingThat's a rather poor argument>StellarisNone of the Stellaris builds I've seen have done that
>>97162124>>97162203Yes? That's how companions are meant to be used. It's how non-retards write games and stories; them being able to be used that way is how any non-retard would design them. Instead of one character being a hyper-competent badass in literally every field, each character/player specializes in their own niche and is (usually) extremely strong in it. This goes for videogames with parties, stories, movie franchises, TTRPGs, etc. Again, only complete and utter retards have a problem with that.
SOCIETY >>97162215>No>>97162223>Yes
>>97161888I do my jumps in Calibri because that's the font my high school computer science teacher insisted on over ten years ago.Should I switch to Times New Roman?
>>97152395You wouldn’t happen to have/know the encounter tables would you?
>>97161365>Companions are just used to get around CP limitations, and I don't like that. That seems to be a broad generalization. You can do whatever you want with the companions but it's sort of nice to be able to build something that can fend for itself or if you are importing get something for it that's worth the CP. You can punish everyone for the misdeeds of a few. That's fine, I just won't import in to your jump.
>>97162528No, but I can show you the list of mons available in each game if that helps.
>>97161365>Companions are just used to get around CP limitationsThrowing my hat into the ring, this is only a problem for items specifically because nothing's stopping a companion from just handing you their capstone item after you've purchased it for them. With perks and the rest, it only makes sense that each companion would have their own skills and abilities, possibly beyond the scope of even the jumper, doesn't it?
>>97162457Calibri is a woke font, so yes.
>>97162457https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Times_New_Roman_and_predecessor.jpg
>>97162571>possibly beyond the scope of even the jumper,Why would that possibly be the case? It's called Jumpchain, not Companionchan. Don't get me wrong, I get some people are bottoms. I made a whole origin in Dragon's Dogma for being a bottom, but why should that be a standard based on the mythos or what have you surrounding this thing?
>>97162617How can you stop it? A Companion might sit down and say "You're studying military strategy? Cool, I'll study economics." And now your Companion surpasses you in some area, without even using Perks.
>>97162617It's Jumpchain, not Jumperchain.
>>97162617Why would you waste CP to make someone who's an inferior copy of yourself with worse versions of your own skills and abilities?
>>97162617It's actually very easy for this to happen by NOT allowing useful companion imports, since people are incentivized to take OC or canon companions who have the equivalent of 1000+ CP of purchases from the jump, which Jumper himself by necessity loses in any circumstance where companions are not literally free. Especially where it's costly, difficult, or even impossible to use your builds to replicate the strongest characters in the setting (your jumps do not suffer from this, but many do; and to be clear, it's not always a bad thing, but it does result in the thing you're complaining about). As usual, you have yourself exacerbated the problems you rail against.
>>97162547Im more worried about the 1% encounters. I accidentally ko’d a natu and it took like an hour for another one to show up.Also add a drawback where teleport throws you into the backrooms or something, trying it out just fucked me over.
>>97162665>Im more worried about the 1% encountersYou have a Pokesearch function that will let you encounter any specific Pokemon on a route that you want.I even referenced it in an item.>Also add a drawback where teleport throws you into the backrooms or something, trying it out just fucked me over.wew
>>97162706Huh. Neat. How activate that?Yeah I got stuck in the door to the pokemon center and could only spin around and pat my pokemon on the head.
>>97162736It's in the pause menu. You might need to get a little bit into the game for it first though, I don't remember since I never used it.
>>97162749I see nothing. But I also took like one step inside the second town and basically crashed my game, so I probably haven’t unlocked it yet. Also, more pokemon ideas - something to do with Nora and boosted exp, and an item that boosts your types moves as a 100 item maybe?

>>97166868>noo don't use that electric screwdriver, it's too efficient!>use a REAL screwdriver, like a REAL man!
I'm just gonna accept that you're either baiting or so retarded that interacting with you is lowering my IQ.
>>97166868Nta but I might watch a robot play tennis. That sounds kind of neat. Also eh single player game if they want to let AI do most of the thinking for them let them. It's not what I would choose, it's something to miss some little part of a perk that could be very valuable to you but of no worth to the AI in it's evaluation of having the biggest metaphorical dick around and smashing worlds by having higher stats than everyone else in the setting combined.
>>97166907Not him but I see his point. The original Pokemon Trainer jump shows how short option descriptions could very well be, yet all too often jumpmakers huffed up on their own farts write flowery descriptions taking up half a page as if wordcount was a good thing. Having an AI dive into that and present you just the meat of things seems reasonable.
Yeah this is the last impetus I needed to finally close this tab for good.

>>97175835Someone from Reddit made this: https://jumpchainsearch.app/ It's got only the most basic tagging system, so if you want to know all the jumps with vampires or whatever you'll still just have to ask the thread.
>>97175835You can download the drive and then run the pdfs through standard search programs.

Toto…ah yes, that’s how linguistic constructs and abstracts work” he said thoughtfully. “Wait! Whyfore hath I the gift of languorous linguistics?”“Well-welcome to the team, by the way-you see, at first it’s because Anon was bad at names and he just called us by the first thing that came to mind” explained Blaize as satisfied, I continued tinkering with the impenetrable bubble of crystal-like-law before vanishing through a portal in time.“Forsooth? And from whence sprang mine insight into all things linguistic?” asked Toto as I returned with Celebi in hand.“Well, NOW he names us after our own instinctive noises to amplify our existences with…I don’t know, some sort of Edenic magical language I still don’t get” admitted Blaize as my heavily mutated Eevee suplexed a Gyarudos in the background. “Apparently it gives us like, main character energy or something? Like if you’re a Gardevoir you psychic harder and if you’re you well…expect to unlock some sorta unique mega-evolution that lets you turn into a geyser-spitting kaiju”“Oh. Very well” he said, mollified. “I’m calming down from my sudden sapience amplification”“You’re taking this very well! Swabubu our…former team Swablu had an existential crisis for a whole week”1/2
>>97176200“It’s probably because my reptilian hyrokinetic physiology comes with built-in coolant systems for my brain” admitted Toto as they watched me whip out a lasso of golden light. “What’s our master doing now?”“Oh, he’s probably going to lasso the comet” said Blaize. She stared down Toto as he nodded soberly, stood up, then sat back down again. “You are taking this REALLY well, I have to say” she remarked as I jumped into the sky.“I’m still processing the fact that the primeval humans of myth that existed before time and space are real, I just don’t see the point in getting upset about it” he admitted. “I mean, we’re absolutely going to crush the other teams aren’t we?”“We are” she agreed as I swung the comet around and around into a stable orbit, where it could be dissected so it’s energy dispersal properties could be applied in a more organised and productive way.2/2

As we approached the current space-time coordinates her fist slowly clenched in horror, disgust, and growing fury. “May I?” I asked, knowing the answer.“I’ll have the Pink Tide mange extraction and rehab for the hounds once they’re severed. Aim for their noosphere. Make it quick” she said, coldly furious as she turned her back on any hope for redemption for the laughably sub-Infinite Empire. I cast aside my Palpatine vessel as I entered. There was no longer any useful data to be gathered from this history. HELLO RAKATA, I spoke clearly through the void of space. I AM OFFENDED|RELIEVED|RESOLVED AT HOW SIMPLE YOU HAVE MADE THIS PARTICULAR MORAL DILEMMA. There is a moment of panic as they realise I am simultaneously speaking through every communication relay, and in a deafening voice from every direction at once simultaneously. There is cursing, the whipping of slaves, even misdirected blaster fire.YOU SEE, NORMALLY I GIVE EVERY NORMAL SPECIES THE PRIVILEGE OF ILLUSORY CHOICE. UNTIL THEY ARE INEVITABLY BROUGHT TO THE END STATE I ENVISION FOR THEM.The same oath-binding Charm technology once used to shackle fae and titan alike is used to wrest away their slaves.I DO THIS IN PART BECAUSE IN ELIMINATING SUFFERING, A GOAL I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO COMPREHEND, THERE IS A BALANCE OF PRODUCTIVITY AND WASTEFULNESS GENERATED BY EVERY CIVILISATION I SEEK TO SHEPHERD TOWARDS EUDAIMONIA. A GOAL FOR WHICH FORCE IS INEFFICIENT.One by one, their weapons simply shut down.YOU ON THE OTHER HAND, ARE NOTHING BUT WASTE.1/3
>>97176498I enter and violate the Force pattern, what some would call the soul, of every Rakata in existence, across every timeline. They sought the Dark Side but the Darkside is the domain of the Sith, and I am all of the Sith. Their flesh sloughs from their bones.CLOSE YOUR EYES. DROP YOUR LEASHES. PUT YOUR FOOLISH AMBITIONS TO REST.Their marrow evaporates.DON’T FIGHT BACK. JUST LET GO.They scream, and scream, and scream. Even though there is no pain, they cannot help but comprehend what I am making them.TAKE YOUR NEW SHAPE.…It is sometime after what the Je’daii will call the Day Blood Melted Through Steel. A twi’lek warlord has decided to declare war against the local militant Force-using organisation. A twi’lek. A TWI’LEK. I am so astonished by the audacity I incarnated just to meet her face to face. “This is MY planet! Smug Je’daii, you will obey me!” she demanded.“Seriously?” I asked. “Wait, you’re not even a Force user and you’re leading from the front…against space wizards with mind tricks?”“I will NEVER loser to Force users!”I just stared at her like a lepidopterist staring at a butterfly waving a comically small net at me. “Well. This is happening, I suppose. Never let it be said I’ll turn down a free minion. Ahem: Force Instantloss”“Wait, Force whaaaaAAAAAAAIEEEE” she gurgled as I used my reverse engineered, far more skilful Force-based soul manipulation to simultaneously simulate all her pleasure centres and dump the entire Twi’lek genetic memory of being pleasure slaves into her at once, manifesting a moment of infinite pleasure and ecstasy that conveniently also made her Force sensitive and gave me a small buff to the Dark Side. See Rakata, I thought as Queen Hadiya’s army watched her twitch and froth at the mouth and wet her trousers (because there were no panties in space), you couldn’t even figure out how to farm the Dark Side SUSTAINABLY.2/3
>>97176503“W-where am I?” mumbled Slave-Queen Hadiya several days later, as she stumbled out of a bacta tank to find herself wearing the traditional slave dancer outfit that was the Final Shape of all Twi’lek women.“You’re at the Sith Embassy, about to sign over all your holdings to defence in perpetuity. In exchange for the privilege of my first disciple in the ENLIGHTENED method of using the Dark Side, you will be paid in the experience that is the highest state of being for your species. Oh, and free room and board”She stared at the palatial harem room she found herself in, fingered the kyber crystal piercings, collar and vibrators I’d shoved into her to constantly force her body to subconsciously attune to the Force, and realised I’d modified most of her body into a low level erogenous zone. “…you know, I SHOULD be deeply offended now my public reputation has been destroyed buuuut” she said, licking her lips. Not just in lust, but seeing the riches and weaponry I’d casually laid out for her consideration “…I could get used to this”“Amazing really, what sapient life can get used to. Isn’t that right, Rakata?”She looked over to what I was talking to. A chute opened to walls and walls of square-shaped flesh that looked back at her, helplessly squirming. “The funny thing is, they don’t even feel any pain” I mused, “and they’re STILL upset that they’re finally, finally contributing a useful purpose for the betterment of all sapient life”“Who? Oh, there’s my old clothes-and ugh, they reek”“Just toss them here, this structure’s purpose is to consume all filth”And the Rakata let out muffled screams as my newest slave’s dirty laundry was dropped down past them. Right before cleansing detergent and rushing water immersed them in a solvent that converted Hadira’s sweaty clothes into sustenance they were forced to swallow. 3/3

An alien invader fell from the void of space, and with detached predatory perfection analysed the local species’ biology. Expertly identifying an easily exploited biological weakness. Conquest of the planet was guaranteed simply by making physical contact, and my avatar’s limbs brachiated and extended in preparation for the coming invasion.>Days later“Uh…what’s going on?” asked Elodie as she found me writing new legislation for interstellar diplomacy. There was still a line of gently purring kemomimi on the way into the government building, which was full of meekly submissive kemomimis holding their sides gently.“I have subjugated the indigenous populace and am reordering their society for perfect order, you know just the usual” I told her. She poured through my paperwork to glance over normal things like the 120% efficient energy reactors, the interstellar warp gate array plans, state-sponsored immortality and 1000-year command economy. Then stared, puzzled, at the historical account of how I’d defeated the civilisation which I always kept scrupulously accurate for the purpose of tactical assessments.“It…it says here you defeated everyone through melee combat” she said, puzzled.“And?” I asked, petting a moaning secretary. “I thought you found that sort of thing inefficient” “I do” I said, petting a shivering accountant. “Fortunately, this species had a critical physiological weakness I was able to exploit with minimum energy expenditure”Elodie put down the page slowly. “You…you PET THIS SPECIES INTO SUBMISSION?!”“What? It was faster and less stressful than diplomacy” I said, stroking an official resting in her kitty basket, right behind their ears where she liked it.

Reminder that the best and easiest way to become UNSTOPPABLE in Modern Geopolitics is to do the opposite of whatever China does. If you're not investing in Bitcoin, you're a woke commie.
god damnit shard why did you have to make a jump for that shitty series and make people discuss it more
