>>97148365The abhuman glowered down at the unresponsive blue glare of the cogitator, her too-long fingers dancing in increasingly desperate patterns across its rune-panel. She yearned for the ancient Terran cat memes; those tiny, foolish scraps of pre-Imperial levity that felt alien to a universe choked in death and despair. The machine answered her with nothing but a sullen hum. “Perhaps if I turned it off and on…?” she ventured, voice small in the cathedral hush of the data-vault.The Tech-Priest snapped into motion, metal tendrils clattering as he slapped her hands away from the console with surprising force. “Such heretical tampering invites only ruin,” he rasped, already turning to face the cogitator’s blank, baleful screen. He began chanting, a rising metallic litany, beseeching the Omnissiah to take pity on the ailing machine-spirit.She let out a long, defeated sigh, shoulders slumping. The cats would have to wait.

Getting them to remotely the same pose was so difficult.
>>97150884You could try gemini-3 (nano-banana-pro). It's not perfect, but it's pretty good at making adjustments.
>>97151146That looks much better!I'm going to have to play with nano banana more.
>>97150439You mean actual cats or felinids? Because while I don't think any Imperial models show cars, Yvrainne comes with her alien cat.And felinids are still around. And as sanctioned abhumans, they're allowed to be tithed to the Guard. But still can't settle off of Carlos McConnell. Also unlikely to be admitted to the Schola Progrenum. So no canon catgirl Sisters or Commissars. Not that should ever stop you from making your own.
Reminded me of the idea that the unique trait as an alien humans might have is being essentially space Australia. No other species keeps pets and definitely no dangerous animals. But humans just hang around with horrid poisonous monstrosities or otherworldly dinosaurs cause aw look how cute they are.
Axolotl monk woman. After many attempts, this is the closest thing I have to my concept.

>>97153075We don't know exactly what they'd look like (other than the guy who came up with them was inspired by the Puma Sisters from Dominion Tank Police) or how they came to be within canon. I always liked the fan theory that they were genetically modified peasants made into cat girls as play things for the nobility on Carlos McConnell some time in the Dark Age of Technology. So I think they'd be at least mostly conventionally attractive and not too beastly.
>>97153409I just follow the established canon look set by lore expert Mossacanniblis.

>>97150439>>97153409>>97153622Surely cats still exist in the Imperium, otherwise Felinids wouldn't be called Felinids, because nobody would know what a feline was. Also, if cats no longer existed, humanity would have surely lost the will to live millennia ago. For what if not the soft purr of an affectionate kitten could salve the wearied spirit of a manufactorum laborer and give him the courage to face another day?
