The abhuman glowered down at the unresponsive blue glare of the cogitator, her too-long fingers dancing in increasingly desperate patterns across its rune-panel. She yearned for the ancient Terran cat memes; those tiny, foolish scraps of pre-Imperial levity that felt alien to a universe choked in death and despair. The machine answered her with nothing but a sullen hum. “Perhaps if I turned it off and on…?” she ventured, voice small in the cathedral hush of the data-vault.

The Tech-Priest snapped into motion, metal tendrils clattering as he slapped her hands away from the console with surprising force. “Such heretical tampering invites only ruin,” he rasped, already turning to face the cogitator’s blank, baleful screen. He began chanting, a rising metallic litany, beseeching the Omnissiah to take pity on the ailing machine-spirit.

She let out a long, defeated sigh, shoulders slumping. The cats would have to wait.

You mean actual cats or felinids? Because while I don't think any Imperial models show cars, Yvrainne comes with her alien cat.
And felinids are still around. And as sanctioned abhumans, they're allowed to be tithed to the Guard. But still can't settle off of Carlos McConnell. Also unlikely to be admitted to the Schola Progrenum. So no canon catgirl Sisters or Commissars.
Not that should ever stop you from making your own.
>>
Reminded me of the idea that the unique trait as an alien humans might have is being essentially space Australia. No other species keeps pets and definitely no dangerous animals.
But humans just hang around with horrid poisonous monstrosities or otherworldly dinosaurs cause aw look how cute they are.

We don't know exactly what they'd look like (other than the guy who came up with them was inspired by the Puma Sisters from Dominion Tank Police) or how they came to be within canon. I always liked the fan theory that they were genetically modified peasants made into cat girls as play things for the nobility on Carlos McConnell some time in the Dark Age of Technology. So I think they'd be at least mostly conventionally attractive and not too beastly.

Surely cats still exist in the Imperium, otherwise Felinids wouldn't be called Felinids, because nobody would know what a feline was.

Also, if cats no longer existed, humanity would have surely lost the will to live millennia ago. For what if not the soft purr of an affectionate kitten could salve the wearied spirit of a manufactorum laborer and give him the courage to face another day?

speaking frankly, I have an extremely low opinion of website gens- if you're going to gen, do it properly with your own computer, models, loras, tags, weights, filters, etc-
but even I can see that they're at least trying.

I withhold judgement. Not because I'm an elitist prick (I am), but because being a dickass for no reason achieves nothing, accomplishes nothing, and rewards nothing.

Incidentally, the people who have HOT OPINIONS but don't gen are categorically worse than people who gen on websites, so you're still beneath them.

Are there any local models that can interpret multi-character prompts without the characters bleeding into one another? Are there any that can reliably parse natural language compositional prompts (you know, stuff like "viewed from a low angle, standing on top of a castle wall, holding a sword in his right hand and a staff in his left hand")?

I ask because I've tried local in the past and found it pretty useless for anything but the kind of "one girl" images you posted. And while you can get some nice results that way, I find it gets boring when you can't make more complex scenes. But my last foray into local models was almost a year ago, so I'd be happy to hear if that's changed.

That's not a model problem at all.

Most can do that easily now, though it's best to keep them short sentences for best results.

Don't take this the wrong way, DK-poster, but do you specifically prompt for your character to have a sizeable package, or does Perchance just do that generously proportioned bulge on its own?
>>
>>97163452
Perchance actually really does do that on its own. It's fucking asinine because you have to think of ways to write out how to not get one to happen in the pic.

Now that this man has managed to narrow it down for the plebs, can you guess which one it is? He doesn't need to, he probably already knows now.
>>

>>
>>97168272
Plebs like you often confuse subjective with "anything goes", especially in areas you have no business discussing. Art, for instance.
>>
>>97168305
stuff from Barnett Newman to stuff like (Fountain by) Duchamp to Christo to niki de saint phalle kinda show that anything goes.

You're seeing whatever you want to see, which is what art is supposed to do. But I won't take credit for you being a retard, though.
>sorry but jackson pollocks drip paintings are better.
Thank you for confirming that art does have objective qualities to it.
>>
>>97168508
where did i claim there can't be objective qualities to art ?

Here >>97168272 You've got a shit memory as well as no artistic talent, then?
>what caused you seethe so much did you catch a ban recently or something? or some critique hit the fragile ego?
I'm sensing a lot of projection, I haven't seethed, I've been very entertained, even more so that one person has managed to complete the challenge and plebs like you STILL can't do the same.
>kinda wired to show so much effort and emotion yet be so scared to post your oc
If posting is considered effort to you, you genuinely won't achieve anything in life.

Want to take a guess still?
>>
>>97168615
mate, you need to work on your ESL skills if think thats what "pretty heavily" means

>>
>>97168701

and/or you don't have much good language skillz
>>
>>97168774
>na. at best you tried to strawman by claiming i said it was exclusively objective. because you lost the argument and need to create a different one.
Oof, it's just embarrassing to watch you squirm like this. I didn't say you said it was objective, I said you said it was subjective, I've now proven otherwise and also had you agree, but you wriggle if it makes you feel better, little buddy.
>and/or you don't have much good language skillz
Hmmm... sure thing... still no guess, then?
>>
>>97168799
why do you grasp at "guess pls bro just guess bro please i need it fro ma house of cards reasoning! bro don do this to me just guess please bro" like it brings salvation ?
>>
>>97168854
It's a fun reminder that you're so lacking in artistic ability that something as simple as picking an image is beyond you. Is it really upsetting you that much? You know you could just make a guess, I think we're down to only 4 to sift through.
>>
>>97168868
ok then. on what oh so objective list of points would you even rate the 150 pics here ?

i assume you can easily list them since its some obvious right ?
you wont hide behind some deflection right ? you can name the objective criteria that so clearly define "the one art piece"

also, what makes you a authority on this matter ? excluding arguments like you looking old because of hairloss and chud glasses and sedentary lifestyle and classic fedora style makes you look smart like an art snob
>>
>>97168919
>ok then. on what oh so objective list of points would you even rate the 150 pics here ?
I'd rate 148 of them as 1/10, one of them as 5/10 and the best one as 6/10, which is pretty good for slop.
>you wont hide behind some deflection right ? you can name the objective criteria that so clearly define "the one art piece"
Oh, definitely. Once you've identified it, of course.
>also, what makes you a authority on this matter ?
I'm a professional illustrator, with a degree and coming up for 15 years of gainful employment in the industry, with multiple book covers, some concept art, and even a few comics under my belt. And you've got... what, exactly?
>>
Well, your silence is defeaning, so I'll give you plenty of time to respond and be back in a day or two to see if you've managed the impossible.

But if you'd rather just run away, Merry Christmas and enjoy your slop!

>>
>>97169118
Sir, that is bad form. You can't change your argument now! Nothing has been mistaken for anything. A computer absolutely MUST have written it, as you've said several times. No mere human could possibly command the english language with such depth poise. Thank you, again. :)
>>
>>97169139
Oh hey, you're back! Let's see if you've done the impossible... Oof, apparently not. Still, there's plenty of time for you to try. Let's see if we get a Christmas miracle. Oh, and since you're apparently a newfag, use alt+click on a thread and it pins it for you, no need to keep anything in your head. You're welcome.

>>97169153
Wow, I really over-estimated you. Do you genuinely not know that thinking what you posted is AI, and mistaking what you posted for AI is the same thing? AI is dogshit, I'm still giving you the benefit of the doubt that it is very obviously AI, you're the one mistaking that for a compliment in either regard. Some proper retardation from you, this other guy looks like a normal person by comparison.
>>
>>97169208
Oh, I don’t particularly care what you think of the quality of my little poem. You’re a random, anonymous voice, and your supposed expertise and taste are entirely hypothetical. And my lack of interest in your opinion on this subject is compounded by the fact that you've leapt to the conclusion that it must have been written by AI, despite LLM use having been commonplace for years, and despite its stylistic fingerprints being obvious to ANYONE even moderately familiar with the technology. That mistake alone suggests you don’t understand the tools you’re whining about and have no expertise worth being concerned with. At the end of the day, no matter how many times you overuse the word "retard" or fall back on copium, you saw something I wrote and your first instinct was, “A computer must have done this!” And the words affected you so much that you're continuing to spiral about them, despite the fact that you weren't even tagged in the original post.

Yes. I do take that as a compliment.
Thanks, man. :)
>>
>>97169441
