If this bars access to that, it opens a whole can of worms where you can just be irreversibly cursed to not be able to shapeshift anymore, which would seem really important to counter-espionage in the setting. And using non-lethal humiliation tactics instead of just another kind of deadly trap implies either some strange things about specialized anti-trap skills, the cost-benefit on traps in general, or what kind of ego high-level adventurers are expected to have.And how does this tie into monsters? If it's permanent there's presumably a bunch of new sperm and wombs involved. Does the gender flip make them all monster-compatible, or at least make it so their kids all come out as monsters? Is this how demons are born? >>97166370It's real. It's a game of reading your opponent, with a bit of resource management, playing over ~3 sessions. The torturer has a hidden set of approaches rated from 1-6, and each round they use one on the victim who tries to resist by spending from their finite effort pool. They get some xp for managing to resist, but any effort spent is lost for the rest of the session, so overspending is like when they they flinch and you're like "but I haven't even started yet". On the other hand if you beat their effort it only increases that approach's effectiveness, permanently adding the difference to it or future sessions. You can instill a terror of needles that only gets worse every time you stick em.It's rigged, of course. The victim can't win, but their goal is only to survive as long as possible. They can buy abilities with XP (see pic), but they can only prolong the ordeal. Torturer abilities get selected at the start of the game, as they're much more powerful and change the strategies up with stuff like combining approaches, denying xp, or duplicating approaches with maxxed-out effectiveness.Why would I lie about something like that, for bagging rights? Lol
Lamias.Also I accidentally forced regulations on immortal/long living citizens in my DMs setting. Not because of wars or boomers not going away since they cant die, but because my character after the campaign got immortality from a wish reward and proceeded to creampie his waifu for centuries who was immortal too. There are just so many humans and the orc head god demand's that his children eat all of the flesh of there non orc enemies then build shrines or outright temples to him out of there picked clean bones that they do not take back with them as breeding slaves.But only the priestesses of the orc mother goddess can decide which sentient cattle the orcs earned in war can even be used as breeding slaves in the first place. And they are vary picky and careful about which cattle gets chosen for that role. Afterall the priestesses do not want the orcs to bring weakness or sickness into there sacred bloodlines that descend all the way back to the gods themselves.So the orc hordes are vary careful about who they use as breeding slaves. But they must have breeding slaves from other races to keep there bloodlines strong and worthy of there gods blessings. For every time a orc breeds with any other orc the baby orc is always much weaker, smaller, and dumber. If this continues the orcs inevitable end up giving birth to goblins and after just one generation of goblins they just keep having stillbirths until they all die out.This has been a curse for the orcs since there gods gave birth to the first orcs at the dawn of there history. When orcs mate with other orcs the orcs always get weaker over time. Until they inevitably result in goblins then death.

It is especially bad when the tribe is in a time of plenty of good breeding slaves and there is no excuse for doing so. When this happens the orcs are separated from each other and given a chose. They can ether be banished with the male being branded with the mark of the sun and forced to follow the setting sun for the rest of his life.
