Fishfag for sure messed things up for a bit but it's actually really chill now.

i have the original LL (or LL Revised, or whatever). and it has horrible microscopic print and wordswordswords. like it's a whole WotC-era book, for absolutely no reason.

not to mention the tables aren't 1:1 compatible with D&D so it's failed there.

like it or not, B/X Essentials solved the B/X retroclone problem. and if you want AD&D autism, there's OSRIC. why Labyrinth Lord even bothered trying when they did is beyond me.
