It's kinda sad the current waste potential of the game's lore. Ok, got it, devs are aiming for a mudcore between the classical factions of the abrahamic religions.But imagine how could would be adding an "Interpretatio Graeco-Romana" to them (I mean, right now Irish pagans exist in the lore as good guys). Example: Beelzebub>for abrahamics >the "lord of flies" >the second after Satan (Ares? (Satan - adversary in hebrew; Ares - ruin, curse in doric)>lord of Ekron, destroyer of Avignon>creator of plagues>for his followers> Ba’al Zebûl, "Lord of the Heavenly Dwelling">Zeus Myiagros, protector against plagues and flies, patron of doctors and cures>Greco-Roman God or eu-demon ("good spirit")>his followers are healthy, immune, beautiful "heroes" (in the Bronze Age sense)Same for the rest of Hell's hierarchy. I think many people loves more Hellenism than abrahamism because despite the Gods not being Tri-Omni (present, scient, potent) (unless if you enter the Orphic / Platonic / Stoic / Pythagorean rabbitholes), at least, they actually care about their followers unlike Yah "I can't directly intervene despite being Tri-Omni because free will" Weh.Also, Hellenic / Roman-like WW1 soldiers would look amazing (imagine FINALLY seeing Late-Roman aesthetics alongisde guns, tanks and nukes).
