>>97163820Its not (Str+Awa)/2, its one or the other, of your choice (used to be Str, Awa and Eva if i'm not mistaken). Otherwise the rest looks good, the terrain rules seems fine, however the Water one, might be better to just settle for a Shallow water and Deep Water division and have non-amphibious treat Deep Water as Lethal?
>>97164330>Its not (Str+Awa)/2, its one or the other, of your choice (used to be Str, Awa and Eva if i'm not mistaken). Why not just choosing strength then? I don't see how awareness is going to help you while you plummet into the ground.>Shallow water and Deep WaterI wrote it that way to keep too many terrains to be instantly lethal, to add more variety. I imagine amphibious/swimming models could be immune to the fall into the water.
>>97166051>Why not just choosing strength then? I don't see how awareness is going to help you while you plummet into the ground. You're Awareness could be higher. I don't see how strength would help you either; hitting water from that height is like hitting cement. I also don't see a reason to add special conditions for what the model falls on. Just follow the already applicable terrain rules.
>>97163865Use it wisely.
I've updated the portuguese book. After playing a game, it turned out it needed serious need of tuning, so here are the changes done. The book is already on the discord.>Sebastianist Procession*Nerfed the immunity to blast, now blast damage is halved rounded down (minimum [/])*Deleted +1 strength aura*Added "Vantage Point" rule>Sebastianist Inquisitor*Added +1 LD*Rally takes LD instead of AP>Sebastianist Grand Inquisitor*Added +1 LD*Rally takes LD instead of AP*-1 accuracy and -1 strength*“Ninguém espera a Inquisição Portuguesa!” only spawns one Sebastianist Saboteur*Changed to Character*Increased its silver cost to 34>Sebastianist preacher*Added +1 LD*-1 AP*-2 accuracy and -1 strength*Rally takes LD instead of AP*Added "Putting one’s faith to the test " rule>Sebastianist Saboteur*"Backstab" rule can only be applied to melee weapons.>Sebastianist Missionary*Clarified that the "Kind Words, Hopeful Words" rule works with awareness.>The Elephant Icon Bearer *Removed its buffs to other units*The Elephant Icon Bearer cannot get buffs to its stats*Removed "Deadly (Iron Tusks)"
>>>/k/64627934>they don't know
Forget whatever I said about stirling engines. My initial guess as to how the Sky People's ships worked was correct and someone in 1863 built it. It evens works while ascending too which I had not considered but it makes perfect sense in hindsight as long as the frame is identical on both top and bottom. This ship does not need any sort of engine, but it can fly horizontally nonetheless. And it even looks unique and cool, sort of. If Stink Juice can be decomposed into methane (explaining the stink) it can provide lifting gas which can then be used on both the ascent and descent to provide horizontal movement as well! The Sky People are flying hot dog packs while the Germans are flying single sausages and the French semi-straightened croissants. It all makes sense now.
Another of the tutorials. This is to try parley rules for duels. That is the only way to complete it, as otherwise, the Knights of Camelot get overrun quite fast.
>>97173030It looks like it might take a while to run through turn-wise.
>>97170316Is there even anything that the colonials have that can match a full on Hyperborean invasion? I know there's stuff like the landskneckts, but just thinking about it if the Hyperboreans come down in numbers during the deluge there's not much beyond the latest battleships, and even then most of those will get Thunderchild'd.
>>97170316>>97175740Nevermind, looking at that thread and I think we can steal some ideas.
>>97175754In the film itself those weapons are only developed after the initial invasion fails, for what that's worth.Pretty good watch either way.
Another mission. Only one left. I was thinking of the last mission just being a regular game, maybe British vs Atlan. Any volunteers to make a 150 list for each, something generic easy to use for newcomers?>>97174649That is true. We could just end up removing one of the NPC tribes, if it's too long to run.
>>97178455>something generic easy to use for newcomersI'll try. I think presetting the walls on a basic map will do the most in making it friendly.
Also, I'm continuing with the visual guides for the game. Making the one for basic attacks, I realized that I don't know how smoke affects melee like in pic related. Any help for this?
>>97181134Same as with Ranged.
>>97181134>DodgingThis might have been changed, but last i recall, the Eva roll needs to beat the Acc roll.
>>97178455Here's a version from me:>6 BAPs with rifles and bayonets>1 Sergeant with rifle and bayonet>1 Modern Major General>2 Auxes with Spears and Ancestral WeaponThe gimmick is to make a firing line. The general lets you be fancy if you want but the main gimmick remains.
>>97181179In the rules book there are two versions of dodging:- If the Evasion roll equals or beats the Accuracy roll, the Attack fails-This action may be taken outside of a model’s Activation if he still has the AP to pay for it. During an Attack in which this model is the target, a successful (didn’t roll over the target number) Defense roll result equal or higher than the Attack roll means the Attack failed completely. A Critical result cancels the attack and lowers your Dread by 1.Also, I think I've missed thr "critical evasion lowers the dread" part every game.>>97181159So the units under the influence of smoke get +1 evasion and -1 accuracy?
Also, here's one for climbing. Can climbing units move beyond walls composed of 2 or more wall hexes?
