You should go watch Uwe Boll's Bloodrayne trilogy, the movies deal with the topic of Dhampir protagonist and the hardships and internal conflicts she faces passing as a human.Don't mind the low rating, it came out shortly after Blade (Dhampir-centric high-octane action flick with quippy protagonist), and the audiences weren't ready for more serious, subdued and introspective take on the topic.
