>mfw 2026
>tq
>>97189707>TQFriend runs this and it's such a belligerent pain in the ass
any nioh chads in the chat
>TQIt's such a stupid deck, just filled it with all the good black ramp&pump I could find, and yet it likes to steamroll my table.
>>97189707>TQI first built her literally as a joke. I didn't think I would win any games, I thought I would just get everything removed forever, and the deck wouldn't do shit. Fast forward about 1 year and it is my most hated deck. I love her.
>>97189707vren. we were supposed to build ultra budget but turns out only edicts is strong enough to compete with b3 decks
>>97189750how do you draw cards
>>97189741That looks really strong
Hey fags how does this work with myriad? Would the created tokens from myriad effects get the +2 benefit?
>>97189741friend pilots one. his deck was the reason why I started to look for board wipes that get around indestructible.
>>97189777myriad tokens do not see the "whenever you attack" trigger
>>97189777Depends on how you stack the triggers
Do you ever run shitty underpowered cards just because of their cool flavor?
>>97189759blue spells. I feel like running stuff that draws from deaths is a trap for this kind of deck since having like 3-4 edicts back to back is fast enough to win alone so any midrange synergy engines would just dial it down. sure it's glass cannon in a way that if vren is put in the moon there is little to recover with but hey that's the risk I took when building budget
>>97189759>how do you draw cards in the two best card drawing colors
>>97189774I didn't think so when I built the deck, now I know better. Turns out when you only really have to protect one creature and that creature is a threat themselves, you win games.>>97189782And before I even played my first game, I stuck in cards that would get around cards that would get around indestructible. My playgroup LOVES exile, so it wasn't even a choice.
>>97189825he said ultra budget
>Ragavan as commander>100 Mountain as deckCould that work?
>>97189822>stuff that draws from deaths is a trap for this kind of deckbecause vren shuts it off
>>97189847oh yeah, I forgot blue is the most starved in cheap draw alternatives
>>97189852sure, you only have to consistently connect with your 2/1 after turn 2
>>97189862only for your opponents. grim haruspex and the like still work
>>97189847>countless night's whisper variants
>>97189818Depends on how shitty and underpowered they are. There's a point where I won't even find any situation where I could use them.
>a fucking movie poster can now be your commanderwhen will other brand logos become playable from the zone?
>>97190030zootopia UB 2027
>>97189707>tqThey are still stuck in the board state = win mindset.
>>97189729Funnily enough, when I run her she always performs worse than she should because people hate her out on principle.
legendary noggle commander when?
>TQthis commander is absolutely cracked. The card disadvantage is so easy to turn around, and its amazing what she does to my pods collective brain. it shouldnt be this easy to buy favors with her, and have big fucking creatures gain +1/+1 counters and flying to swing elsewhere. If she was UB, the outrage of powercreep would be insane
>>97190091based i just bought her precon this week
>>97190077there wont be no Noggles for the Niggles in Lorwyn
>>97190091I play a lot of Rule of Law effects, so I'm always happy to see Bumbleflower.
>>97190093the precon itself is absolutely ass and i regret buying it. but its a great way to keep her power somewhat in balance
>>97190105>the precon itself is absolutely assreally? everyone else has said its one of the more stronger ones straight out of the box
>>97189721She cute
>>97189740He looks nice but the high CMC scares me.
>>97190030We have Iron Maiden album cover art btw
>>97190091this, my face has been flattened by her ass so many times
took a big bong rip and splurged on some the mechanically unique ff scene cards. some seem pretty bonkers like duelist flame, judgment of alexander, fated clash and flash photo
Thirty (30) starting life is objectively superior to fourty (40)
What's a fun control commander?Fun for me. Not my opponents
>>97190205Kroxa!
>>97190205inniaz
>>97190160you just play him as big mana reanimator. with mono black ramp, he likes to enter the battlefield between t4-6 (in theory on t3, but then you have no targets for his ability). if he enters late, you should have a few demons by then to profit from his lord effects. edicts and board wipes help controlling the board in the meantime and give you even more reanimation fodder.guess he would have problems in a competent bracket 3+ pod, but even there you can just go full gary and vito and use him to supply that plan.
