This on top of a Garou patriarch or matriarch usually having control over the family of Kinfolk as well. Yeah, your non-combatant family might not be direct terrorists but the nanosecond they feed and clothes you, especially as an honored guest, no task force in the world is going to ignore that. Even if they're questioned that they're under the threat of death or abuse or something, it's still pretty fucked up. I am aware it's not all Garou and most of them except Shadow Lords or Glass Walkers try to treat Kinfolk better but it's still, like an anon posted last thread, a very specific and weird furry breeding kink expanded into a not-insignificant subsection of the gameline. Yeah you could probably go an entire WtA game without any mention of kinfolk just like you could go an entire VtM game without weird ghoul/vamp bdsm or sire/childe power dynamics stuff, but it doesn't really remove that aspect from the setting. Granted, it's very atmospheric and good world building for WoD and W5s removal of it was a gay way to handle it because Kinfolk abuse is relatively pretty logical to bake into the setting. It's still kind of weird, especially compared to every other splat that doesn't have feudal-tier familial grooming and hierarchies. It's like an edgier, more abusive Revenant concept.
