Today We're matching the famous Sons against the Witches (Witch Awakening variant) and seeing who comes out on top. I am not favoritist at all, we're losing no matter who wins, both of them are vantablack evil and I don't have patience for the pathologies of either author.Assumptions here:=Both sides are optimized to counter their respective opponents, but will not spend points on anything irrelevant to their mission. Any of You are more than free to propose better counters.=Neither opponent has the help of an external deity or build.=Either side acts in the way typical of their race. The Son is neckbeard Edward Cullen. The Witch is TF villain Patrick Bateman.=The Witch is a Neutral+ Academic aligned with Hawthorne.-Walk Blessed is impossible to account for and will be ignored. Freely discuss Whose self-insert would survive the following build.+Everyone is at their full end of their progression ladder, and the Witch is on the Early Bird gamemode. Nevertheless, she still her class's free schools. The Son likewise has all blue powers.+The Witch's Relic Point rewards are being lowballed for a total of 31 points:**1x5 (Folk)**3x4 (Noble)**4x2 (Heroic)**6x1 (Epic)="Magic" means all magic unless its type was narrowed down.=Use of "Wish" type magic is prohibited.-The few Witch abilties and artifacts involving human sacrifice or soul manipulation count as death/soul magic.=Witch Awakening and Entropist are alternate Earths inside of the same multiverse since I haven't found anything spectacularly different between either of their mythologies. =Nobody knows any magical powers that are outside of their own CYOA.+Ascended Spirit counts as a psychic defense equal to Psychotics 5.+Sons count as deities for the purpose of True Friendship.+Void Cutter is perfectly equivalent to the space attacks of Aetheronautics and Riftblade.

We'll assume that it works normally against any Witch.-A Sanctum counts as a pocketspace for the purpose of Witch abilitiesThe Witch has the following build:-Neutral+ (4 points, let's say Warlock for the 31 points of Favor)-Alchemy 5 (13 points-Runes 5 (6 points)-Necromancy 5 (8 points)-Portals 5 (13 points)-Divinations 5 (8 points)-Aetheronautics 5 (6 points)-Psychotics 5 (free, per the Academic boon)-Wands 5 (6 points)-Dominion 5 (free, per the Academic boon)-Crystallize (6) and Blood Witch (6) perk.-One potion, bought for Power, giving her one extra point from her class discount. It just works.It all balances out.-Rift Blade (4 relics)-Alchemist Stash (4 relics)-Dollmaker's Kit (6 relics)-Cosmic Pearl (10 points)With Runes 5, a Witch is immune to almost all the Son's direct special attacks except for Pain. This last part is handily solved by Necromancy 5 where the witch can store her soul far away from the field of battle.Do minions matter? No, and here's why: with Divination 5, the Witch can cast her spells on totally remote and indirect areas as long as she scried it, bypassing the Son's armies. She can also use it to spoof scrying information so that it's impossible for the Son's HUD to show that he's walking into a trap, which was a possibility that she foresaw with normal use of this school.

In fact, she can disguise herself as a completely unoptimized build that the Son should have been able to floor. Instead, she shows up as an indestructible (Crystallize) lich with functional immunity to mind control. Dominion can make Crystallize last forever. Can Void Cutter help him? Maybe, if she hadn't locked the Dominion down with Aetheronautics 5 to keep any weird space attacks from starting up. Psychotics also divides the strength of his Power Word Kill (as a memetic weapon) by 32, which is NOTHING in a high stakes fight. He can't hurt her body. He can't hurt her mind. He can't hurt her soul. Okay, but he can disarm her with Wither except he can't because all her artifacts have concealed and spoofed Taldel runes that make them utterly immune to literal, actual entropy, he's just wasting souls on blowing the landscape up.Rewind. Solve this remotely. What about Entropist's own case of a text block that wasn't written but masturbated? No, I don't mean the Gifts, I mean the Reverberating Harpoon. He can't fire at her if he doesn't know where her soul is, which she's hidden from him, and he can't use Fated until he's hit her for once by some other means. Even then, she's able to buy time by opening a portal in its path, or moving her phylactery to anywhere on the planet with portals, or throwing a doll between them.But hitting her means going into combat range. What about that? It /sounds/ like the Son has the upper hand owing to his completely superhuman physical abilities. This is wrong, Witches can instantly cast without need for human reflexes if they have Wands 5, granting the /Contingency/ spell. It doesn't matter how fast you are when the fabric of spacetime has become a superluminal tripwire. Having foreseen the coming fight, the Witch can Contingency cast the spells to begin his everlasting defeat and utter humiliation.

Yes, yes, I do know that he has Aligned Magnificence and Ascended Spirit and what I ruled it to be. She can spend some supplementary Favor to boost her into Psychonautics *6*. Boosted by Cosmic Pearl. Boosted by the Hawthorne perk. She can keep doing this for ten minutes, from inside of her Dominion with its unlimited mana reserve. But when it comes to witches, that's barely a victory. The real fun comes in when she uses a portal to launch a Dominion crystal right over him, locking him in place before she does it again to drop him the following Hydrox-mixed, human-sacrificed, Alchemist Stash boosted grenade potion (or dart built by Runes 5, take your pick):-Love 5 (Severe addiction to the Witch)-Novelties 5 (Ego death)-Novelties 5 (Transformation into a Changeling)-Novelties 5 (Transformation into a catboy)-Novelties 5 (completely subservient mindset)-Novelties 5 (believer in open relationships)Now the shotacon has a proper willing abuse victim who will never experience enough inhuman physical pain to find the embrace of nonexistence, to torture forever, to show off to all her classmates who like all witches live for nothing except for presenting horrific magical crimes as normal and healthy behavior. This is what their society and ethics all revolve around without a single diversion. They believe in raping bystanders, they believe in raping Muslims, they believe in raping taxpayers, they believe in raping dead bodies, they're not even that bothered by the tentacle rape attacking the fabric of existence that they need to live. Nothing matters to them except for inflicting horrible fetishes on human livestock, it's their currency, their air, their god, and all of them belong in the meat grinder to be unceremoniously fed to feral pigs.

I had an idea for a CYOA antagonist and rival. The main gist is that he is salty that the girl he liked was taken before he could ask her out even though the girl had embryonic feelings for him. He then ends up on the losing side of the conflict that kickstarts the CYOA, nukes a capital, and when he renecounters (You) he is seething.Because he planned on romancing the daughter of the girl he liked as a second shot (the daughter like You) and blames (You), a completely different person and kid for the girl he liked getting stolen, the nuking, and a bunch of other stuff not connected to you at all.
