This is important, because there are very different forms of slavery over history and they are not to be treated the same.Sold off to pay for debts is not the same thing as captured in wartime is not the same thing as institutional chattle slavery is not the same thing as judicial punishment, and so on. I would treat someone who had been enslaved by the law for crimes committed very differently from someone who was merely in the wrong place at the wrong time when slavers kidnapped them and threw them on a boat.

>>97208018Just be careful or that could kill you. Elves operate in a state of permanent ketosis. Thats why there are no fat elves, they don't metabolize carbs at all. Which is fine for a while, but if you try to live off of elven cuisine your whole life it will kill you in a couple decades.

Since elves are typically long-lived and have magical aptitude, she might be a good fit. So I guess we hand her over to him and hope that they are biologically compatible. He's a good guy. I think.
