>>97212652How do you handle the NPCs created with fields like "lover" or "best friend"? You generated one NPC, but now there's other characters being introduced in that generation.
>>97212672>>97212663>>97212655>Dude, is a generatorI need 256 characters for a town.>But huh duhIs just a reference chart to avoid having writers block.
>>97212652This is just an offtopic screenshot from a porn game isnt itWhatever. You want a town of 250 people? Here>average 10 people per family>zero to two grandparents, two to four adults, four to eight kids>Thats 25 families total>one family is the lord's/mayors>2 to 3 are knight families>5 are wealthy landowners>10 are modest tradesmen families>10 are serfs living poorlyThat means you need 10 trade occupations>carpenter>tiler>smith>mason>tinker>bowyer>hunter>miller>farrier>porterThere, i even named them. Now you can get off my board and ideally also kill yourself
>>97212652>Needs a computer generator to make NPCs>Does all this bullshit instead of just ripping off ones that already exist from other gamesI'm laughing at you for being such an inefficient fuck, like holy shit
>>97212721>I need 256 characters for a town.No you don't.Plus you don't run games in the first place, anyway>writers blockAnd >>>/lit/ is that way
>>97212672By creating their entire extended family, duh.Which in turn necessitates generating THEIR families, and so on, until every single NPC in the world gets described. Then it's a simple matter of finding and remembering the ones relevant to the adventure at hand.
Here's some advice: try actually playing a game for once, and all of the problems you made up will stop existing
