Have anyone here played this? How does it compare to the older 40k RPGs like Dark Heresy and it's derivatives? How does it compare to WFRP?

Personally I prefer the older 40k rpgs. By trying to make one generic system for any style of 40k game, it comes across as muddled. Each of the ffg games knew exactly what they were trying to achieve in terms of tone/gameplay/etc so they could do it well.

It reduced a lot of the little specific rules and does progression different. But it's still basically the same game
