>>97218558you didn't specify they would be full squads. in that case the list is very bad. i don't know what knights do but your army can't take any damage, doesn't deal much damage at range, gets absolutely stuck on terrain (infantry can walk through it without problem) and has no boots on the ground to hold objectivesthe rough riders pack a punch but they're hard to manage when in groups of 10 and they die to overwatch and any assault specialists other armies have if they get charged before they charge. it's some of the best close combat ability astra militarum can get but it's only 10 dice when using melta tips. and death riders are utility and road blockage rather than direct damage but in your army there's very little reason for them to block enemy movement because you don't have a vulnerable firebase in the back of your deployment zone.you can realize that an army of skirmishers isn't a traditional army at all.

Need a rule clarification. My friend has a world eaters helbrute and it has this rule that reads "In your opponent’s Shooting phase, and in the Fight phase, each time an enemy unit targets this model, after that unit has finished making its attacks, this model can either shoot or fight, but when resolving those attacks it can only target that enemy unit (and only if it is an eligible target)."In the core rules it says that units that are eligible to fight must do so. So if he charges it at a thing, and fails to kill it, then it attacks, the thing fights again?Likewise, if he uses a thing to give himself a 6" consolidate, my unit that he consolidates into has to fight if I understand right. I found a cheap copy of the 5th edition Dark Eldar Codex, so I bought it and read it. Neat little book, the lore for Dark Eldar is very funBut I noticed something odd. That's the fifth edition Codex, we're currently in the 10th edition. As best I can tell, throughout those five editions, there has been a grand total of one new unit for Dark Eldar introduced. And that one new unit is the Hand of the Archon aka the Kabalites with an extra sprue of weapon options.I must be missing something, right? It's not necessary bad, it's basically exactly what it needed to do to stay on top (which it undoubtedly is). Currently MTG-esque players and faux-competitive games is just the current thing. A great weight is lifted off of your shoulders once you realise the old codexes haven't gone anywhere, and can be played just as readily as any other edition. I'm basically a newfag (Started 2019) but wanted to see the glory days of 40k so much I started painting and got the group into it.
