First for the Pyramid
>>97224887Roll
>>97224887Cuck the players with difficult checks if they're really getting off the rails, but I generally try not to be a cunt.>>97224954Fuck the Pyramid, this is a Tzimisce general.
Remember, T*emere are still seething about trading in their true magic for shitty immortality.
How would you integrate the Tremere, either as antagonists or flimsy allies, into a Mage story that does not focus on the Order of Hermes?Let's say that, out of this cabal, only one of them is a Hermetic and he thinks House politics are cringe and gay shit that gets in the way of doing actual magick.
>>97224958I-I'm so happy to be tzitrash... Oh, god
>>97224978If you really had to, and keep in mind this is assuming you find a Tremere that won't seethe about not being a real mage, you could make them have an allyship of convenience over preventing a mutual enemy, say a Marauder, Nephandus, or a Tzimisce/Sabbat dude, from nabbing a powerful relic or getting information that would not be good for either of you if they get it. Maybe you make a friend who is incidentally a Tremere totally without bad intentions in the long term to help you out doing some Paradox free occult stuff. Generally, your main difficulty is going to be getting a vampire who either won't reeee about the Masquerade, muh real Mages, or some Cainite bullshit.
>>97224887>How do you control the pace of the game as an ST?I don't!
>>97224964Comeback with a Gangrel & a Nosferatu & your comment might actually be worth something then
tremere get splattered round these parts like all leeches
>>97224887>TQIt really depends on the group, not every tactic works on every table. If your players are the kind that need to be dragged along and fed hooks, you need to always be prompting them, take a very active role and keep feeding them information and stimuli or else they'll stand there slack-jawed. But a more active table could find that stifling. Active players it's more of a dance. If the players are going too fast, hit em with something that puts them on the backfoot. But generally match their energy rather than try to fight it.

Whatever happened to the Darkness of the World?
Is it thematically appropriate to run a Kindred of the East game where the characters meet a bunch of young masters who are part of some exclusive kindred sect trying to bully into relinquishing their cultivations for their impudence?
>directly responsible for the existence of the traditions as a faction>can use any focus or fit into any paradigm as long do it hard enough>Aleister Crowley and Rasputin, two of the most famous "real" magic users, were members>draws more new members than any other tradition>actually give a shit about sleepers and influencing modern societyHow can the other traditions compete?
>>97225341Unrelated, but Crowley is an overrated pseud desu
>>97225341By not being serial rapists
>>97225341By not being horny gooners giving up their Vril to be Slaanesh larpers?

Is there a way to have Willpower over 10? Like a merit or some permanent power?
>>97225815Probably not. If there was, some anon would have told you the last couple(?) times you asked.
>>97225815Not sure which game you mean, but in CofD, willpower is Resolve+Composure, which you can both permanently raise above 5 if your Blood Potency/Primal Urge/etc is high enough.
>>97225907I figured no was was paying attention to it/getting lost in the feed. Im fine with a no. I could have sworn there was a way to get like 12 Willpower somehow but I can't find it anywhere & it's bugging me>>97225910oWoD
How would you port the Tremere and Tzimisce to VtR? I'd make them a pseudo-Covenant and a bloodline respectively, but if you have any crazy ideas do share.
>>97226093>How would you port the Tremere and Tzimisce to VtR?By using the translation guide.
>>97226093The translation guide reccomends statting the Tremere as a covenant, yes. And it gives an option to make the Tzimisce a Ventrue bloodline if you don't want to make it a clan. Of course the translation guide is for first edition VtR, but it is the official stance on that.
>>97226093probably not going to be a popular opinion but i am featuring tzimisce as a clan in my shared setting with bloodlines based on the old revenant families
>>97226093>Tzimisce to VtRSo basically just Ventrue(Dragolescu) Dracul?
