Man how the fuck do you hunt level 2+ gorms, the story events seem so debilitating and the vomits start hitting instant heavy or severe levels. Do I just send out newbies (I have song of the brave), and if they die they die?

After 1078916 lion fights, we wanted to try Croc (we were waiting to beat a core game before trying gce). This is really a node 1? Are we just supposed to sit in the blood puddle the whole time? We must have just had really shit rolls on getting insanity events because the croc would just delete us from terrified
